They go mainly to lagos, mumu, and every Nigerian is free to reside there, as a large chunk of our national resources went into developing it.

Lagos's discovery and development as an economic hub started with the Portuguese slave traders, then the British empire and finally the Nigerian government, all of which used it as their capital.

So, Lagos wasn't developed by your lazy fathers and every Nigerian is free to transact his/her business there.

Politics › Re: My New Role As Minister For Power Is Not About Competence But Leadership – Bayo by Free2Fly: 12:53pm On Aug 18, 2023
[qu8ote author=Spectators post=125188407]My new role as Minister for Power is not about competence but leadership – Bayo Adelabu

The former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Oloye Adebayo Adelabu has allayed fear of Nigerians over his new role as Minister for Power which is different from his area of competence.

According to him, his new role as Minister for Power is not about competence but leadership to oversee the affair of the ministry and achieve greater success.

Read his full statement below ;

“Yes, I understand the fears being expressed by our people on this deployment as they all see it as not being my area of core competence as they all know me over the years to be an Accountant, Banker, and Finance Experts. Some that even know one of my private businesses as real estate and my love for construction conclude that Works or Housing Minister would have been more appropriate. I know they say all these out of love for me and their desire to see me succeed in order to automatically fuel my future political aspiration. I thank them all for their concern.

“However, most of our people do not understand or underrate the important role that effective leadership, logical diagnosis and deft strategy execution play in problem solving in this modern age.

“Majority of our issues here in Nigeria/Africa is never technical as our models are imported from the West where they have been tested and are flawless. Our problem is in providing the right leadership, unbiased diagnosis of our peculiar problems and project execution devoid of sentiments and biases and most importantly adequate funding and its management.

There's practically nothing the Government is doing for Nigerians

That was my issue with the idiots that were supporting subsidy removal.

That subsidy was the only thing an average Nigerian benefited from the oil in his backyard, but those idiots were hellbent on comparing us with the West that has no crude oil.

jumper524:
I watched a video where Sanusi stated that we shouldn't vote anybody that tells you it would be easy to rule Nigeria.
These are one of the challenges a president face.

The president is the most held accountable individual in this country.
But then again, there are other people who should be held accountable as much as the president but we tend to turn a blind eye towards.

1, is we ourselves : how often do we pay our tasks, it would be a great sin if you commenting and criticising is yet to renew your expired drivers license but then again criticise Mr president at same time.

2, state governors: I'm surprised more people tend to hold Ganduje that construct multiple state projects and is debt free of salaries responsible and accountable much more than Obaseki and okowa of the PDP who are/were governors of oil rich Niger delta states but yet left the states in a terrible condition coupled with having one of the worst state schools in the country.

3, Senators: Now this arm of govt were quick to approve the president plea to 8k monthly palatives for over 12 million Nigerians.
I did the maths, that's over 110k slots per senator.
These men who are educated knows better than to pass the bill, even those in the jesus christ labour party didn't object to the bill cos they weigh their pocket before their constituents.
Imagine holding over 20k slots of over 110k slot?
That's about 160million monthly, the senator would still be perceived as saints if he disburse the rest 90k.

The president has the lowest to gain of the country fails but then his advisers/ministers and other arms of govt have the highest to benefit if they loot what's good for the economy.
The president has been elected, and instead of being the president enemy and hating for no reason, we should rather be his best friends in guiding him towards the evil sets around him.
This hypocritical kid wants to deceive people into shifting their blames away from T!efnubu!

You don't know that once the president is corrupt and clueless, everything and everyone under him loses coordination and orientation? ?

You expect the labour party senators to be saints where the president, VP, senate president, DSP, speaker, DS, CJN, AGF, etc, are stinkingly corrupt and criminals?

You must be a joke!

100% of the blames must go to the president because his personality influences the actions of his subordinates.

NigerianAngelo:
Nigeria's economy has been measured to be about $387bn (N178trn) as at 2023 when Buhari left office.

That gives a per capita hanging around $1800 (from $3100 in 2014).

Nigeria's economy was $567bn in 2014.

The economy has since dipped by 31.7% since then despite adding 35 million persons at 3.0% per annum.
God, if he actually exists, will punish Buhari and the animals he brought him in/supported him
