obiyaya: Peter Obi has always said Anambra governorship will be his last political post. I'm sure he meant it.

So stop killing yourself. I know you mean well for Okwute but the man doesn't seem to be interested.
Here is a quote from Peter obi.

“I started telling people during my second tenure in office as governor that I will not aspire for any elective position in the country, but some people thought I was joking,” Obi said.

“Some have even been speculating that I will be contesting for senate for Anambra Central in 2015 or for another elective position at the national level and I want to say here that I have no such ambition.

“However, I am prepared to make myself available for the service of my country in non-elective position.
Who is deceiving who? Incase you don't know, it was the PDP bigwigs in Anambra that rejected Peter obi for the position

obiyaya: [s]Peter Obi's Next international was already netting 3 billion Naira profit monthly as at 2003 before he ventured into politics. We haven't even factored his majority shares at fidelity bank.

As for citing the mall in ABJ, it's a pure business decision. Such mall can only be profitable in a place like Abuja

Goodluck to Mr chidoka. His CV isn't that impressive but he really showed he is an innovator during his time as FRSC boss[/s]
another trash from another peter obi goon. 3 billion naira monthly profit in your dreams. If osita chidoka's cv isn't impressive, I guess it's Peter obi's that is? Deal with adaobi's loss you sycophant

Politics › O'fraud: School Building Collapses In Osun A Day Before Commissioning by FreeGlobe(op): 8:21pm On Jul 10, 2014
A newly completed hall built by the Osun State government inside Ejigbo High School in Ejigbo, Osun state has collapsed. The building collapsed around 6am yesterday July 9th as workers were putting finishing touches to it in order to meet up with the Friday date for the commissioning.

The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun state, Mrs. Folasade Odoro, said the school building collapsed following a heavy wind on Wednesday morning. Two people were injured.

Although two people were injured, the Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola, made it known how unhappy and disturbing the sad event is to him and his entire government.

Governor Aregbesola, through his media aide, [s]revealed how the new development has shattered the happiness his administration experienced when the hall and some blocks of classrooms were built.[/s] The media aide, Mr Semiu Okanlawon, said the Government of Osun State regrets that the incident occurred but investigations are on and they might reveal the true cause of the dilemma.

Former Governor Peter Obi Loses Out As President Jonathan Nominates Osita Chidoka To Replace Stella Oduah

President Goodluck Jonathan has nominated 43 year old Ositadinma Benjamin Chidoka as a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria to take the slot of Anambra State in the federal executive council.

Osita, who is currently the corps marshall of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), would likely replace disgraced minister of aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, [s]who was fired last February over a series of sleazy deals in the aviation sector exposed by SaharaReporters.
[/s]
Mr. Osita’s nomination finally closes another chapter by former governor Peter Obi’s quest to replace Oduah as aviation minister.

A letter sent to the Nigerian Senate about Osita’s nomination will be read on the floor of the senate later today.

Odenigbo Aroli: I didn't say Enugu isn't developing. But in what areas,at what pace?
Enugu needs a visioner who thinks outside of the box. Or maybe you guys are satisfied with what you have.
leave Enugu and talk about Anambra where your god peter obi wasted 8 years doing nothing but propaganda. Apart from private investments in Anambra, how can you compare both states? I know you have never visited Enugu, thats why you are running your mouth. Why not go and join your icon peter obi as he is begging GEJ and Anambra pdp to be made minister

Politics › Troubled APC Sets Up Atiku Abubakar Reconciliatory Committee by FreeGlobe(op): 11:34pm On Jul 04, 2014
AS part of moves to heal the wounds that emanated from the last membership registration exercise and congresses, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC has set up a reconciliatory Committee.

The Committee which has former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as Chairman, with governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State as member will bring on board all aggrieved members of the party.

The setting up of the Committee as gathered also became imperative following the defeat of APC and its candidate at the June 21 Ekiti State gubernatorial election, Dr. Kayode Fayemi .

For the Committee to commence its work and come up with strategies, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State met yesterday at his( Atiku) home in Asokoro, Abuja.

It would be recalled that some members of the APC were aggrieved following the membership registration and congresses where many were schemed out which has led to some members leaving the party for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP with a view to averting subsequent dumping of the party by members of the APC.

Politics › Tinubu Adds N250 Million CONSAT to his falling Empire by FreeGlobe(op): 10:43pm On Jul 03, 2014
FORMER Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has further extended his grip in the media and broadcasting business as he finally rolled out services of his new pay TV company, CONSAT.
According to information available to ENCOMIUM Weekly, the new pay TV platform, Continental Satellite Limited, will operate in the form of cable satellite pay television with bouquet and dish and the network will operate from the premises of Continental Broadcasting in Ikosi, Ketu, Lagos. Findings revealed CONSAT package cost N15,000 and will provide 15 channels which include CNN, BBC, Aljazeera and movie channels. Another 95 channels are also available for subscribers who prefer the cable service.

The plan to float a pay TV platform by Bola Tinubu has been in the pipeline for some time now. The equipment used in the setting up of the company was shipped in to Nigeria last year from Europe. According to inside source, about N250 million went into setting up the new television venture.

Tinubu’s intention to set up this new pay TV is borne out of his inability to take over assets of HiTV, a pay TV company where he is said to have financial stakes.

GTBank’s terms and condition is identified as a stumbling block to Tinubu’s takeover bid and that was after the company packed up due to huge debts and its CEO, Toyin Subair left the employment of the company.

CONSAT will no doubt give other pay TV platforms like DSTV, Startimes, a run for their money in terms of services and reach. Tinubu’s CONSAT is said to be cheaper and provides more channels than other platforms.
The company’s official colour is yellow and black.

The Lagos state PDP consequently admonished the former Governor to come to terms with the New political realities in the southwest and lagos in particular. “One of such is to accept the expiry of his control and the political superiority of Senator Obanikoro to defeat him in a free and fair election”
