The PDP members in Lagos should be very careful at this moment especially in protecting whoever becomes their gubernatorial candidate. The "rig and roast" supporter of APC master is up to no good especially following the Ekiti loss. ![]() |
The Lagos State Chapter of PDP has come out strongly vowing to repel any direct or decoy action aimed at blackmailing or attacking any of its members as it approaches the 2015 general elections, stating that former Governor, Bola Tinubu, will be held responsible if any of its leaders, followers or Governorship hopefuls is again murdered. The Party’s strong vow is a reaction to Tinubu’s frontal accusation that Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Minister of State for Defence, is concentrating more on Politics than Insecurity. Apparently a fall out of the alleged roles attributed to Senator Obanikoro for PDP to win Ekiti governorship election. The Lagos State PDP further describes the former Governor’s public outburst as not only irrational, but a clear sign of a frustrated, diseased blackmailer and desperate emperor who wants to hold on to southwest and Lagos State in particular. Indeed, it is the attitude of a drowning man, this time around struggling for Political survival. “On our part, we shall not underestimate the desperation of Tinubu. We however promise him that no hatchet plot against any of our members shall prosper.” The Lagos state PDP consequently admonished the former Governor to come to terms with the New political realities in the southwest and lagos in particular. “One of such is to accept the expiry of his control and the political superiority of Senator Obanikoro to defeat him in a free and fair election” “By the unwarranted public outburst of Tinubu attacking the Person of Senator Obanikoro, our Party member, we can now see that the frustration, desperation and drowning-man attitude has reached an embarrassing crescendo. This is long awaited required proof to confirm reports of Lagos APC clandestine meetings to blackmail, Implicate or physically attack Lagos PDP members as we approach 2015 election which Tinubu is jittery to loose. Historically, Tinubu’s current Political travails can be traced to the last Local Government elections in Lagos State, when the young son of Senator Obanikoro, Ibrahim Babajide, defeated the former governor in his Polling Unit. The former governor had since then seen Senator Obanikoro as a potential threat to his political and extortionate control in the State, thus Tinubu’s sponsored Media and Physical attacks on Obanikoro and some of our other leaders. We remember well the build up of events that led to the murder of Engr. Funsho Williams, our Governorship hopeful in 2007. We are thus not going to be slow in reaction this time.” Signed: TAOFIK GANI Spokesman, Lagos State PDP http://www.thenewsnest.com/tinubu-will-be-held-responsible-for-murder-lagos-pdp/ |

shizzle11: calm down joor! whats with your ranting? what if he is interested in ministerial appointment, anything wrong with it? that he is not contesting is actually good news to ngige or anyone hoping to go for Anambra central cos if he is to contest, it will be a landslide for him, and stop this your baseless accusations.ok, go ahead and tell him to contest. He knows Anambra will reject him anytime like Ekiti rejected Fayemi. Landslide my foot |
abu12: For the milltia no problem most igala people have talk to said, anambra people will not dare to fight them, except if they won't to die. Hoping kogi will declare first oil producing state in northern nigeriakeep deceiving yourself. there is no oil in kogi. All these propaganda will never work |
Nonsense. Literally begging for ministerial appointment. Nobody can take Anambra central from Ngige, he simply knows this. Let him go and finish the billions he stole from Anambra |
Ayekotoo: Fayose, just because you were able to fool the ekiti people does not mean the other south west people will fall for your gimmicks. People like you, play on people’s intelligent and you were to walk over the ekiti people because of their ignorance and shallow mindness. The ekiti people have been predestined to suffer for the next 4 years and this pains and sufferings I trust you will give them.don't allow frustration to kill you. Yes as the highest political office holder of pdp in the south west, Fayose is a pdp leader in the south west. Ekiti people are not ignorant, they were brilliant enough to see through the APC propaganda. Watch as the same thing happens in osun. Its time up for APC. All those states you stole through salami will be returned and more. Go and die |

Happy bday |
Aregbeshola, Fayemi have never won any elections before. They came through the back door and its about time they are kicked out. Tinubu should be ready because Obanikoro and Chris Uba will be unleashed again on APC in Osun come August ![]() |
berem: Fayose won the election in Ekiti because of his popularity and not PDP. If Fayose had contested under a smaller party,he would have won too.Need I remind you that Fayose contested in last senatorial elections in Ekiti under Labor party and lost (like Fayemi) to the APC. You have never been logical anyways. |
APC and cronies should stop this insult on the sensibilities of Ekiti people. The people have made their choice. Deal with it or kill yourself. While others were busy soliciting for votes, you were busy whipping propaganda thinking propaganda wins elections. In any case is it even possible for an "impeached governor" (according to the op) to contest elections? Arrant nonsense |
Yeah - I thought 'Ngige' had messed him up final -
They just seperated. He is still very much active. He is a NEC member of PDP. |
I thought he had been 'retired' from politics?
Chris Uba retire from politics? ![]() |
APC should be good sports. They should just accept this open loss and stop over flogging the issue. It's obvious tinubu met his match in a certain Chris Uba who delivered Ekiti from the hands of the supporters of APC as they were planning to manipulate the elections in their hotel rooms. ![]() |
What could have led to exchange of blows over the June 21, 2014 governorship election in Ekiti State was averted in the Senate on Thursday due to the timely intervention of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who presided over the plenary. The trouble started when the Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission, Senator Andy Uba (PDP Anambra South), stood up to applaud INEC for a job well done on the Ekiti State governorship election. Uba who relied on Order 43 of the Senate Standing Order, commended the electoral body for conducting what he described as the most credible election in the country. He said the conduct of the Ekiti State governorship election by the INEC was a departure from previous exercises in the country that were marred by irregularities, adding that there was tremendous improvement. He also commended the people and government of Ekiti State for the peaceful conduct of the election that led to the incumbent Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, of the All Progressives Congress, losing to a former Governor of the state and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ayo Fayose. Uba further commended the security agencies for ensuring adequate security during and after the election and urged all the relevant stakeholders that contributed to the success of the poll to carry on with the same spirit in subsequent elections. But Senator Babafemi Ojudu, who represents Ekiti Central Senatorial District on the platform of the APC, while also relying on the same Order 43 of the Senate Standing Order, drew the attention of the Senate that Senator Andy Uba, who had showered praises on INEC, had his younger brother, Chief Chris Uba, as one of those who led the police to cause havoc during the exercise in the state. Ojudu said: “My colleague (Andy Uba) had already read Order 43. “I don’t need to repeat it. “I will like to commend the governor-elect of Ekiti State and my governor for accepting the result of the election. “But I want to say here Mr. President that my colleague who stood here to talk, his younger brother, Chris Uba, led police to the hotel and smashed all the doors of the hotel….” Ojudu was, however, disrupted by the PDP senators who shouted at him to sit down. Senators Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory, and Senator Smart Adeyemi, representing Kogi West, both of the PDP were among the senators that moved against Senator Ojudu. But as temper rose among the senators during the rowdy session, which lasted for about five minutes, Ekweremadu calmed them down by first allowing Ojudu to read Order 43 upon which he raised his point of order to counter Andy Uba and later ruled him out of order on the grounds that the Order 43 Ojudu read prohibits discussion of any controversial issue on the floor of the Senate. Earlier before ruling Senator Ojudu out of order, Ekweremadu commended INEC for what he described as a “job well done” in Ekiti State and implored the commission to do better in the forthcoming 2015 general elections. http://theeagleonline.com.ng/brawl-averted-in-senate-over-ekiti-election/ |

It is not surprising that barely hours after the announcement of the Ekiti guber by INEC where APC lost woefully, Nairaland was hacked. I urge the admin to be prepared for more hacks as we approach the Osun guber. It's time to weed out all the supporter of APC mods and super mods. APC is up to no good. They've have certainly realized the damage their bad rep on nairaland is causing them and trust the destructive party, they employed their online militia arm to hack nairaland. It's good to be back though. ![]() |
jayrule: hem hem#clearsthroat. Keep dis record sis 'APGA will never/will not rig any form of election'.... Sorry troglodyte.... Your point is lame. You lose...^ what's this one saying? |
I predicted Amosun will be the first APC governor to fall out with Tinubu. Now osoba's closeness to Tinubu I see Amosun moving back to PDP. |
chyseth: Under APC, Rochas will lose in Imo Gubernatorial election. There is no two ways about it. They will play tribal politics on him and it will work. same fate that befell Ngige will catch up with him. Let him quickly do his mathematics well and come up with a stand before it is too late for him.how will lose when he can also rig like APGA did. incumbency |

Sir sijo: insult the man he is, dont insult the creation of God... you never know what may become of you some day. all the best.I didn't insult the man or his looks. I was merely pointing to the marks on his face which may be responsible for his attack on oduah. |
Ikengawo: She has stopped them from robbing the sector and, through nepotism and incompetency, crashing planes on a monthly basis like under FFK,That plus the Enugu International Airport especially.
