Since our government has failed us then private institutions can bail the people out. God bless FCMb for that initiative

But they (FCMB) even partnered with the government too.

What do you think has become the single most important feature of a smartphone? I know this has been an ongoing debate, and today, we are going to lay it to rest once and for all.

Personally, I’ll say it’s hands down the camera. I mean, what’s a smartphone if its camera won’t turn bland ordinary moments into beautifully captured memories with bursts of colours. But that is just my take on the matter. What do I know though? Why don’t we see what the experts have to say?

According to MIT TECHNOLOGY REVIEW, more megapixels come tops amongst the technology innovations that smartphone manufacturers are expected to prioritize and continually enhance in order to obtain the leading market position and earn creativity bragging rights.

The review states that the demand for more megapixels has become a key mobile phone trend because, as it stands now, a great camera enhances the lifestyle of smartphone users.

So, it is settled; a great camera is the best feature of a smartphone. And it would seem that TECNO is in on this too.

Here is why I think so; according to news making the rounds in the tech world, the smartphone brand is planning to change the entire dynamics of mobile phone photography by partnering with SONY on their next phone.

Sources say the new TECNO CAMON 15 series might be equipped with a whopping 64 megapixels, and once released, will be the first phone in Africa to run on the SONY chip.

This is mega huge?! Do you know what this means? You have to take a pause to process what having a 64 million pixels camera on your phone would mean! Everything will be magnified. Every detail is delicate and clear. Even a dark portrait is bright and clear.

With a 64MP smartphone camera, the user can zoom to the extreme, even to an object 30 meters away. Think sweeping evening landscapes with still-life detail you can zoom right into, and you are starting to get the picture. Every detail, no matter how tiny, will be captured and clearly seen, even to tiny insects and the fluff of their backs.

We all know that TECNO has always been dedicated to camera smartphone technology and has solid technology accumulation, plus they have proven over and over that TECNO is indeed for Nigerians. But we didn’t see this coming. Is Nigeria even ready for this level of exquisite technology?! Brace yourself guys, things will never remain the same. If this is even a little bit true, TECNO will change the smartphone game forever! I don’t know about you, but I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

Iron sharpens iron. And that's why it's important for you to have money to make money.

Leading smartphone maker, TECNO Nigeria has outlined its various social corporate social investments (CSI) made in Nigeria’s education, entertainment and gender balance and small and medium entrepreneurship in the country this year.

With few days to the end of 2019, TECNO said it has accomplished all that it promised to do, especially in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) department, having truly differentiated its brand in more ways than one.

The company in 2014 through the TECNO Foundation started a children-centered CSR initiative that has ensured that many children from public primary schools across Nigeria won scholarships and many other prizes.

In line with that initiative, the theme on Children’s Day this year was “Give the Nigerian Child A Future”. In the Lagos region, five schools were selected to participate. After an examination to select the best students, scholarships were awarded to five students from each of the schools.

There was also a Children’s Day Party that brought children from over 30 public schools together with plenty of fun and games plus numerous gifts.

Relentlessly, TECNO then got involved in another Get-a-Nigerian-through-school project called AcadaFest Scholarship 2019. Through this initiative, TECNO sponsored 3 deserving students for the duration of their University education.

Like a soldier on a mission, TECNO joined forces with a few other sponsors to celebrate the musical legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. At the event, the smartphone brand made touch points with Nigerians by making the six-day event even more fun filled.

During the course of the festival, a lucky Nigerian got the chance to win a Spark 4, which was the latest device from the brand at the time, and there were also lots of gift up for grabs.

This year’s International Women’s day sought to encourage gender balance around the world. To lend a voice to the credible course, TECNO partnered with The University of Lagos’Radio Station, Unilag 103.1 to put together a special program for young girls aimed at improving the quality of life of the girl child. In attendance were secondary school girls who were made aware of how very powerful their contributions to the country can be.

To support entrepreneurs without the financial wherewithal to make their dreams a reality, TECNO birthed a campaign called Light Up Your Dreams. The brand brought together many young Nigerian entrepreneurs with various business interests ranging from agriculture to technology.
