A social media report has it that a tanker carrying diesel has fallen along Otedola bridge in Lagos State.

According to a Twitter user who shared a picture from the scene, diesel is already gushing out of the fallen tanker.

Actress Tonto Dikeh has slammed the Nigerian culture after some youths took to the streets of Abuja in protest against Bobrisky.

The youths on the aegis of National Youths Council of Nigeria called for the likes of Bobrisky and their lifestyle to be kicked out of Nigeria.

Numbering about 500, the protesting youths took placards and headed for the National Assembly, Force Headquarters before stoping at the National Centre for Arts and Culture, NCAC.

According to the NYCN vice President, Mukhtar Jebba:

“Consequently , the NYCN today , September 18 2019 declares Bobrisky as persona non grata , as he is a man (not a woman ) . For national interest, we call on the ever – conscious, ever- ready , combatant Nigerian youths and comrades of like minds to, without fear or favour , kick out Bobrisky and his likes wherever they come across them. Nigeria is not a place for LGBT and we shall fight this to the end.”

Reacting to the protest, Tonto Dikeh wondered why they didn’t channel that energy against the lack of basic amenities in Nigeria.

Slamming the Nigerian culture which the youths say they are trying to protect, Tonto Dikeh wrote:

Gracious David West, the man who was caught by CCTV cameras after he killed a lady by strangling her in a hotel in Port Harcourt, has revealed how he did it.

This was after he was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force few days after he committed the crime.

A video showing his interrogation sees him narrating how he killed the lady in the hotel room where they both lodged in.

“When the day broke, around 4 or 5:30, I brought out a knife which she actually knew was there (in the room). So I brought out the knife and threatened her not to shout, if she shouts I will use the knife on her. With that fear she couldn’t shout. By then the television’s volume was loud, so she kept quite. After then, I used the wrapper to tie her hands behind her back and tie her legs”, he said.

A Twitter user who identified the man as Gracious David West, revealed more details about him in tweet below.

“PH Hotel Serial Killer Identified. Mr Gracious David West is one of D serial Killers Dat strangles their female victims in hotel rooms. He was an ex-militant & a known armed robber. He was rehabilitated by OPM Church & he went back 2 his stealing at D place OPM got a job for him”.

The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has requested for peace to exist between him and his successor, Governor Kayode Fayemi.

Fayose made this known via a congratulatory message in celebration of Fayemi’s one year anniversary in office as governor of Ekiti State.

According to Fayose, he sees no reason why there shouldn’t be peace between the both of them, since he’s not eligible to contest for governor of the state.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has commissioned the reconstructed and furnished Government Craft Development Centre in Port Harcourt.

Sharing pictures of the building on Twitter, the governor wrote:

“In pursuit of our vision to promote vocational education and develop middle level manpower in Rivers State, we today commisioned the reconstructed & furnished Government Craft Development Centre, Port Harcourt”.

Govenror Wike added that more equipments needed in the building have been contracted to be supplied.

“We have also contracted Julius Berger Nigeria to build and equip internatinal standard workshops and training facilities for the centre. I am convinced Technical and Vocational Training remains one of the surest ways of reaching out to thousands of Rivers youths”, he tweeted.

Cristiano Ronaldo has once against shown the class he’s made of in a Euro 2020 qualifier campaign against Serbian fans who taunted him with “Messi” chants.

Portugal faced Serbia in a game that ended 4-2 with stunning goals from William Carvalho, Goncalo Guedes, Cristian Ronaldo and Bernardo Silva.

The victory saw Portugal leap to second position in Group B. They now have five points from three games and are placed behind group leaders Ukraine.

Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has called on operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, to start arresting Nigerians who pray for their enemies to die.

In a post he shared on social media, the OAP classified praying for one’s enemies to die as suicide.

According to him, we as Nigerians are our own enemies, therefore rendering such prayer is an attempt at suicide.

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, pulled up in style to Benin City, Edo State, where he attended the 85th birthday anniversary of the Esama of Benin, Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.

The ceremony had several traditional rulers and dignitaries attendance, who all got up from their busy schedule to celebrate with the Esama of Benin.

The Alaafin of Oyo landed at the airport in a private jet with his entourage and was welcomed by some chiefs before he was conveyed in a red Rolls Royce to meet Sir Igbinedion.

The Esama of Benin’s birthday will be celebrated for two weeks and will be concluded on September 11 which is his actual day of birth.
