Ghanaian US based filmmaker, Leila Djansi has slammed all those criticizing Oscar Awards organizers for disqualifying Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart movie.

Lionheart was disqualified from the Best International Feature because it is predominantly in English language, which is against the rule of the category.

This didn’t sit well with many fans of Genevieve Nnaji and the movie who took to social media to air their grievance.

However, Leila Djansi is of the opinion that the disqualification is a right decision which will enable African filmmakers to start creating movies in local dialect.

The leader of God’s Crown Chapel, Ghana, Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi has asked Psquare, DJ Spinal, DJ Blaze and DJ Perez to pray against assassination.

The prophet made this known in a viral video with claims that the revelation was given to him by God.

According to him, “And I asked God what is this? And God said there is an attack coming after the music industry in Nigeria.

Wizkid’s songs Joro has become a trend on Twitter after Davido asked his followers to state which song is the hottest in night clubs right now.

Recall that a few days ago, Davido dropped Risky a song which features an international artiste, Popcaan, and was well hyped along the lines of two ladies who accused him of impregnating one of them.

Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke is not expecting any baby with a 20-year old lady as widely reported.

This is according to a spokesman for the family who told PM NEWS.

According to him, Davido’s father is “a new grandfather and an expectant grandfather”.

Recall that controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo reported that Davido’s father had sent a 20-year old lady to America after he got her pregnant.

She tweeted:

The pictures which appeared on ‘wife sharing’ sites also shows Katie Hill kissing her female staffer identified as Morgan Desjardins from Santa Clarita, California.

Morgan, 22, began a throuple relationship with Katie Hill and her husband Kenny Heslep. She began working with the Congresswoman in 2017.

Pastor Chris Okafor’s publicist has spoken on the woman caught in alleged stage-managed miracle with five pastors.

The five pastors which includes Pastor Chris Okafor were seen in videos using the woman to perform a miracle.

Nigerians have reacted to a news headline which says ‘Escaped lion from Kano zoo finally arrested’.

The lion which escaped from Zoological Garden late last night was announced by the Managing Director of Kano Zoological Garden, Alhaji Usman Gwadabe, to have been captured.

The incident saw filling stations and even Ado Bayero Shopping Mall which are close to the zoo on lock till today.

Report say the lion was well behaved all through the time it spent outside the zoo.

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has revealed how emotional he got when he debuted for Nigeria in an international friendly against Brazil.

The game which was played in Singapore saw the Fortuna Dusseldorf goalkeeper concede a goal in the 1-1.

Naa Dromor Adjei, a popular Ghanaian Instagram slay queen has been poisoned to death by a guy.

GHbase reports that the slay queen went on a date with a guy who added drug to her drink to sedate her.

Unfortunately for Naa Dromor Adjei, the drug made her have cardiac arrest. She was rushed to a hospital but died after arriving because oxygen was cut off from her brain due to the drug.

Apostle Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has reacted to the disagreement between Aisha Buhari and the family of Mamman Daura.

Aisha Buhari and the Daura’s have been trading words with different accusations against each other.

This was after a video surfaced showing Aisha ranting because she was prevented access to an apartment at the Aso Villa.
