The PDP Spokesperson in Ebonyi state who was arrested by the state government for alleged fake news has finally been released by the courts, after spending a month and 16 days in police custody.

Mr Nwoba Chika Nwoba had been waylaid by members of the Ebubeagu security network, and beaten to inches of his life at the behest of the state government before the intervention of the police who rescued him; from what would have been an assassination, disguised as an arrest.
