In as much as this constitutional amendment is another jamboree to distract the masses from the failure of the elites. Southern leaders must be assertive and insist on power devolution to the regions. Each region must manage their resources and remit a fraction to Abuja. We can't afford to be driven to antiquity by the northern political hegemony. That's the only thing that can save this dieing lugardian contraption. 54 Likes 4 Shares |

This terrorist sympathizer on turban fail to realize he cannot use election to gauge people's hatred for this shit show called Nigeria. In every election since 1999 less than 40% of eligible voters vote. I can understand if terrorist sympathizer like Gumi wants Nigeria to remain, what pains me is the downtodden stupid masses that support this fraud called Nigeria irrespective of their tribes. I mean what the heck are you proud of in this shitty lugardian contraption. |
Education / Re: Can I Still Go For Law After A Philosophy Degree In Nigeria And How Long Does It by Frenchkiss564: 11:16am On Jun 30, 2021 |
seyiskye2002: You could easily get admitted to 200 level in unilag's faculty of law directly if you manage to graduate with a second class upper or lower from the department of philosophy after four years. (not sure) Alternatively, I think its better you take jamb again pick an educationally disadvantaged state as your state of origin as it increases your chance of securing admission. You can then change back to your normal state during registration after you might have been given admission. I kid you not, philosophy is an almost useless course in Nigeria. No one gives a f*ck about Plato, ludwig, and Aristotle here. |

It is an undisputable fact that yorubas were some of the most advanced (if not the most advanced ethnic group before white people came) Yorubas were making glass before the coming of the white. Here is an excerpt from a research by havard university as quoted by life science A newly discovered treasure trove of more than 10,000 colorful glass beads, as well as evidence of glassmaking tools, suggests that an ancient city in southwestern Nigeria was one of the first places in West Africa to master the complex art of glassmaking, scientists reported. https://www.livescience.com/59462-early-glassmaking-west-africa.html I wonder if TAO11 has more to add. 4 Likes |

DIGIMARKETER: I get your point bro, but the fact in issue is murder and not rape. There are weak evidences to suggest that the man tried to rape her, where is the torn cloth, the torn panties and maybe injury she suffered from struggling with the much hefty guy? Assuming without conceding that she was trying to defend herself from rape, she has no business with the late man's money. She could have informed relevant authorities after the deed. 1 Like |

DIGIMARKETER: The defense of intoxication will not avail her if she voluntarily took the drugs. Facts suggest that she is a drug abuser; the fact that she stabbed the man twice at life threatening areas then stole his money and pretended all is well until she got fished out proves that she preplanned everything. The fake documents found in her possession corrobirates her evil motive. 2 Likes |

Ifearnoevil: Very correct sir but a man can't be convicted for raping his wife in Nigeria. This position stems from the common law position that the woman's "I do" during their wedding gives the man right to have sex with her anytime except when the sex will be innimical to her health. Common law countries that convict men for raping their wives like South Africa have departed from the common law position by ammending either their matrimonial causes act or criminal code act to accommodate spousal rape. Unfortunately, Nigeria has not done that. Just my 2cents 1 Like |
