Why come on this national forum to disturb people?

Exercising my right to self determination by not believing in this shitty country has nothing to do with hatred.

Clamoring for seccession is not the same thing as hatred to others.

I can understand if you believe in one Nigeria, you may be a beneficiary of the rot that the Nigerian state has become. Ain't nothing wrong in protecting your pot of soup.

In as much as this constitutional amendment is another jamboree to distract the masses from the failure of the elites.

Southern leaders must be assertive and insist on power devolution to the regions. Each region must manage their resources and remit a fraction to Abuja.

We can't afford to be driven to antiquity by the northern political hegemony. That's the only thing that can save this dieing lugardian contraption.

Good day ...All Intelligent being on naira land

I choose law as my first choice iin unilag due to the mass failure going on with jamb this year , I managed to pull out with 218 so u decided to go for philosophy
..
But I want to seek advice because I couldn't find any relevant one on internet.... The question is, can I venture to law after acquiring a degree in philosophy and how many years is it going to take me in attending law school again

You could easily get admitted to 200 level in unilag's faculty of law directly if you manage to graduate with a second class upper or lower from the department of philosophy after four years. (not sure)

Alternatively, I think its better you take jamb again pick an educationally disadvantaged state as your state of origin as it increases your chance of securing admission. You can then change back to your normal state during registration after you might have been given admission.

I kid you not, philosophy is an almost useless course in Nigeria. No one gives a f*ck about Plato, ludwig, and Aristotle here.

It is an undisputable fact that yorubas were some of the most advanced (if not the most advanced ethnic group before white people came)

Yorubas were making glass before the coming of the white. Here is an excerpt from a research by havard university as quoted by life science

A newly discovered treasure trove of more than 10,000 colorful glass beads, as well as evidence of glassmaking tools, suggests that an ancient city in southwestern Nigeria was one of the first places in West Africa to master the complex art of glassmaking, scientists reported.

She took the drug voluntarily but she didn't want to have sex voluntarily. I have spent 4 days in a hotel room with a girl and throughout she said we need to know each other better and she never allowed sex and I didn't push it even though money was not agreed upon. Decent girls are also allowed to date but men see it as as long as she is in the room with me na wetin carry her come.

The places she stabbed the guy suggest to me that he was awake and there must have been some sort of struggle between them and let's not forget he hid the keys to the flat so she couldn't have ran out

Note: I'm not saying she is innocent o o.

I get your point bro, but the fact in issue is murder and not rape. There are weak evidences to suggest that the man tried to rape her, where is the torn cloth, the torn panties and maybe injury she suffered from struggling with the much hefty guy?

Assuming without conceding that she was trying to defend herself from rape, she has no business with the late man's money. She could have informed relevant authorities after the deed.

If you don't have a job, think of a business you can use the money for or pay for a course that can increase your earning ability.

500k is small for a passive income, you need to create active income through a job, trading or business.

The fund can't give you more than a steady monthly return of 5k

Thank you so much for your premium advice.

Yes, i have a job that guarantees steady income albeit on the low side.

The 500k is my savings, i guess i will try and buy T-bills.

Stealing is taking without owner's permission. But he gave her his pin and ATM card.

Nigerian police can be unprofessional and we all know that they judge just like alot of nairalanders(Nigerians). If she had gone to the police they would have tagged her a murderer so why not take the choice between getting caught or being free.

The drug now popularly called refnor is a sex stimulant or a date drug. In the 90s it was scarce but known to be a sex drug i.e put it in a girls drink na confirm sex next.

What Are Date-Rape Drugs?
Date-rape drugs are substances that make it easier for someone to rape or sexually assault another person. They include alcohol and some medications. The person who’s attacked might become confused, have trouble defending themselves, or not be able to remember what happened later.“Date rape” doesn’t always happen on a date. An attacker could be someone you just met or someone you’ve known for a while.

Common Types of Date-Rape Drugs
An attacker can use several kinds of drugs or medications to overpower someone else or cause them to forget an incident. The most common date-rape drugs are:

GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyric acid). This is a depressant that has many nicknames: easy lay, Georgia home boy, liquid X, liquid ecstasy, liquid E, grievous bodily harm, Gib, G-riffic, scoop, soap, salty water, organic Quaalude, or fantasy. Doctors sometimes prescribe it to treat a sleep disorder called narcolepsy.

Rohypnol (flunitrazepam). This is a strong benzodiazepine (a class of tranquilizers) also known as Mexican Valium, circles, roofies, la rocha, roche, R2, rope, and forget-me pill. It’s not available legally in the United States. In other countries, doctors sometimes use it as anesthesia before surgery.

I strongly believe she acted on self defense but her immoral life style has gotten her into trouble.

The defense of intoxication will not avail her if she voluntarily took the drugs.

Facts suggest that she is a drug abuser; the fact that she stabbed the man twice at life threatening areas then stole his money and pretended all is well until she got fished out proves that she preplanned everything.

The fake documents found in her possession corrobirates her evil motive.

You are wrong sir.
The denominator in any rape case is consent.
Once someone says no, any other thing is grammer.that is why a man can be convicted for raping his wife.
Though I believe she is not telling all the truth.

Very correct sir but a man can't be convicted for raping his wife in Nigeria. This position stems from the common law position that the woman's "I do" during their wedding gives the man right to have sex with her anytime except when the sex will be innimical to her health.

Common law countries that convict men for raping their wives like South Africa have departed from the common law position by ammending either their matrimonial causes act or criminal code act to accommodate spousal rape. Unfortunately, Nigeria has not done that.
