Politics / Re: Is Cross Rivers Landmass Bigger Than South East Region? by Frenchkiss564: 7:48pm On Jul 05, 2020
Birdeyeview:
Cross river state is so big that I travelled from Calabar to obudu and I spent roughly 7hours by road.

It should be the biggest state in southern Nigeria.

LeSudAfricaine:
First of all, don't tell me 'what I know" you don't know me like that, I was never even oppressed by white people, went to school and university with them, that's why I see them as people not "supergods"like you do, Secondly, South Africa was built on the backs of black South Africans don't care whether you believe that or not, the black man was on the first line of the South African project mining for minerals that woud make South Africa what it today. You people have opinions on a country you know so little about it's embarrassing!

When the black govt decides to build a state of the hospital at a far-flung village how are those white ideas? decides to build a supertrain that would link J'oburg and Pretoria because of traffic congestion how are those white ideas? decides to build new Universities at Provinces which previously didn't have Universities how are those "white ideas" build or maintain roads? the new state of the art "King Shaka' airport opened in Durban? I can go and on... we have every right to claim these. Actually, the fact that you even see such standard govt decisions as the domain of white decision making shows me that Nigeria won't have any new University, Hospital, port, school etc for a long time to come because it is after all the decision of white person to make..smh

"without whites your country with turn to another shit.hole" blah blah. First of all, a Nigerian has no business using the word "sh.tholes" ever! not when you're the creme de la creme of "sh.tholes" and again , if you really wanted white people so bad! just go and buy them from the nearest shop for godsakkes!...it kinda seems that one of your biggest gripes you guys have with South Africans in general is that we have a white population..hey, it is what it is man.

And lastly don't view blacks in generals with a Nigerian prism....the are "blacks" and there are "Nigerians"

I take it that you are well read, thumbs up. You are dealing with a people condemned by their own thought to think white people are gods. What the heck is "white people's idea"? Ideas are free flowing and can occur to anybody, no one has the monopoly of good ideas. That is why intellectual property law regimes the world over do not recognize ideas as something that can be protected. It is the actualization of an idea that intellectual property regimes recognize.

Without mincing words, Nigeria has very poor taste of architecture.

There is really nothing mind blowing about Abuja, Lagos has better architecture.

well working as a cleaner in a kings palace represents a Daniel like person full of wisdom because a cleaner makes the place clean and clear meaning someone who decodes esoteric wisdom that the king cant decode. and you getting the message to him to raise his leg but you were shy about it means you are wary of his authority but still in getting him to raise his leg means you are the reason why he lost his position on top because raising his leg means he has lost his power and position and you have usurped that power and position because of your wisdom and then he really likes you because you have the wisdom of God in you and if God be for you who can be against you ? So basically your dream is a rehash of the biblical story of Daniel and Joseph but told in a unique way through your dream. Now this particular dream may not necessarily be about you as much as it is a message of the times we are livving in as the Daniels of this generation are being raised up who will usurp the current world powers. If you are spiritually aware you will notice the globe is in a huge transition now and you will notice there are esoteric wizards being raised up amongst us who can interpret dreams and read the spiritual world and read the spirits in people as well as the spirit of the times we are living in as well as the spiritual reason behind every occurrence on earth And so you are dreaming about the times we are living in. The transition phase. The rise of the Josephs and Daniels and the fall of the Pharaohs and Nebuchadnezzars

Thanks you so much for your kind reply. I firmly believe you do have a point as I had that dream when I was spiritually strong. My spiritual life is not stable, this week I'm strong, the next I am weak spiritually. You seem to be very certain that we are living in peculiar times.

More power to your elbows.

Let me talk my own, I started apprenticeship immediately after jss3, my uncle owns electronic and boutique business then, so those 10 years was like a wasted year because I was settled with peanut #50k which was not even enough to pay for agent fees for good business location, but God so kind, I have a lot of experience on Mobile gadget, during the era of ponzi scheme I made almost 600k and did not disclose it to anyone, that money later saved my life.
Today I have a boutique that gave me atleast 180k monthly profit.... Although this is just a year old.
My plan is to venture into mobile accessories... And I believe God will do it..
Poverty is a disease...

Politics / Re: A Look At The Urhobo Migration To Okitipupa & Other Parts Of Ikale by Frenchkiss564: 2:22pm On Jun 10, 2020

This is really refreshing to read.
farming has been a fundamental part of Urhobos.
I have a friend who is from that part of ondo state but ijaw. the mother always tells stories of her encounter with the Urhobo community there. she learned the language and also a lover of Urhobo music like omokomoko. she told a story about a particular boy who went fishing in the river and a crocodile caught his hand and almost cut his hands off, he screened "nene o" calling for his grandma, they were able to rescue him but some fingers were missing.
I asked her if they still lived there, she said they have since moved back to Sapele.

Urhobo also have some settlers in ife. some years ago, a parish priest was transferred to ife, to catered for the Urhobo parish there.
Also settlers in Jos, and I think in ore as well.

This is actually very correct, Urhobo people have sizeable population in ife. Most of them are large scale farmers that can even speak the ife dialect. They are called isobo.

Thanks for the good work OP. May God continue to strengthen you.

I once dreamt that I was working as a cleaner in a popular king's palace. (The king is very popular in Nigeria). While sweeping close to his throne I was shy to tell him to raise his legs up, so I summoned his PA who delivered my message to him. He later told his PA that he really likes me.

Please note, I am a well educated professional who is not supposed to work as a cleaner. (I'm sorry if it sounds like bragging, I don't want to mention the profession because I want to remain anonymous)

Much regards

Comparing the quality of structures in our first generation universities and what we have now is a strong testament to the retrogression that is in Nigeria.

I did my masters in Oau and thesis in Unilorin.

I'm neither from any of the University, I know what I'm saying.

Unilorin covers like 3 or 4 LG.
And you Agree with me that ilorin itself is bigger than ife by far.

Ilorin is not even close to ile ife in landmass. Check the attached screenshot.

The title of this post says a lot about the mentality of Africans. The portion has been effectively used to manage COVID19 in Madagascar and we are still meant to believe that it is untested. What other test do we need other than its practical suitability to manage the Trump designated Chinese virus.

Must western institutions sanction its use before we call it tested?

Mental slavery is the worst kind of slavery.

UNN is definitely not in that list.

The day I saw the year book for UNN graduates in 2018 for most departments, I was shocked.
A lot of myths is been peddled on nairaland.

Yoruba students dominate the student ratio in most UNN departments in nearly 3:1, it was disgraceful.

Even the SUG or Education faculty president was Yoruba.

Wow... Thanks for the clarification bro

You need not be told how homogenous eastern universities are.

Your reasoning does not make sense. Is it all countries in the world that are close to sea? That landlock logic is baseless. South east will be a great nation and even south west have the capabilities of being a greater nation too. So why can't the south west fight for regionalism?

Southwest is fighting for regionalism albeit organically. To a large extent they are already in control of their security.

Education / Re: Please Help! I Need Advice With My Certificates. by Frenchkiss564: 8:18am On Apr 29, 2020
You don't have to panic dear friend. The law looks at the intent and not the form. Since the years and names in all your certificates are uniform there is no cause for alarm. Duri's case is different, he has four different names on four different certificates. That's a prima facie evidence of fraud.

Yours is an irregularity that can be corrected with a mere affidavit. Just make sure you choose one date and adhere to it in your coming certificate.
