OrlandoOwoh: This must be a lie the FG maintains a presidential lodge each in the 36 states, where the President stays when he is outside the FCT on a visitation. The only time Obasanjo didn't sleep in the Presidential Lodge, Awka, was when he decided to spend the night in the home of Alex Ewkueme, a party member, in Orumba. You now knw the affairs of the state more than an ex governor abi? Some of u guys don't just worth replying ur posts #rubbish |

Topiipii: So una no watch the video to see say na Edo man ehn? hin name sef na 'Christian'. The guy even spoke the same language as the woman in the video, but the goons up there decided he's a Yoruba man just because the mischievous OP mentioned 'Ogun' which was not mentioned anywhere in the video. Ebal, it's better you correct this your misinformation now. Egbon with the information I got while serving in delta state, the ancient Benin kingdom believes that somehow their ancestry with that of the Yoruba nation is one and the same. Culturally the are similar in their ways so pls don't come and argue here bcz ur argument would hold water. Abi ogun is it the name of any god in SS, SE or North? |

GboyegaD: Those are no real men. Being a man is knowing when to admit you are wrong and apologize. Apologize fire! Well in my earlier post I have said wat exactly the security and eko mgt should do but since the celeb in question said mgt called him and he gave his part of the story and the mgt haven't called him again. Then the case is as good as dead. I also adviced that seyi should just make out time and go and parley with the security guy to bury any ill feeling just because we all are human and the harm has been done already. But putting it to him that he must apologize, my brother just forget it. MEN DON'T APOLOGIZE ANY HOW. You can argue that as much as u want, I don't care. Only wat I knw is that we have men that claim to be real gees but are damn weaker than switshes Those ain't REAL HOMMIES bro, maybe transgender |

If a fellow commedian says worse to him would he react in same manner? Funny how you think of the security man as a low lifer. Hope u have read his part of the story before crying me a river. I actually knw exactly how it feels trying to explain something to someone and the person just swerve I anyhow. E dey pain die, few peeps can actually endure such. But as a public figure seyi should have done better but as we all knw, no one's perfect and celebrities ain't excluded. Politics › Re: Twin Explosion Rock Kano Market by freshdude99(m): 3:35pm On May 22, 2016 |
ojuolu: Two large explosions have been reported at a mobile phone market in north Nigeria's main city, Kano. Scores are feared dead, according to local media. A witness told Vanguard news that an improvised explosive device was planted close to the generator serving the market, while a second bomb went off in the center of the market.
Two traders at the market, Nafiu Mohammed and Suleiman Haruna, told AFP that a blast was felt "deep inside" the market shortly after 4:00 p.m. local time, and that rescuers are currently at the scene.
The blasts went off during the late afternoon prayers. Current location isn't abj but I will be in town hopefully nxt week precisely kubwa. I give u a mention soon afterwards. Enjoy! ( I bliv u knw y I decided to mention u here.) |

ojuolu: Yes, you are right sir. But there is a word missing., 'reasonably' I work for an international organisation in the service industry. No person, I repeat no person no matter his/ estate will try that with a security guard of my organisation. We will exit such relationship. The security guard, apart from being an employee is also an internal customer, and more importantly, a stakeholder. No business ever sign a contract with its customers to freely assaults its staff. You know why? Because business are becoming more international and they no the importance of his human resources. Gone are the days when institutions we expose it's staff to these type of ridicule in the name of "customers are king", "customer is always right" . I will be surprised if Eko Hotel fails to act on this. Seyi Lawless is simply too local and so un cultured to have done what he did. On the other hand,I won't be surprised if this incident is investigated and a written apology demanded from Seyi Law by the Management of Eko Hotel. Impressed by ur submissions, if u follow that thread down a bit u would see some of my submissions as well. Eko hotel HR department knows exactly what to do it they are indeed a 5 star like they claim. The security man is no employee of social media so why is he here to gather sympathy or what... Anyways how do I send over ur JDaniels, I promised that. |

Politics › Re: Who Can Defeat Buhari In 2019? by freshdude99(m): 2:29pm On May 22, 2016 |
mandax: Southern Nigerians appear the most apolitical groups in Nigeria.
Any election in Nigeria, unless north doesn't want a northerner to be president, no southern Nigerian candidate can dream of becoming president.
With the new political structure of 20 states in the north but only 17 states in the once two southern regions, usually one north in elections is assured of any presidential election win for a northern candidate
Southern Nigerians don't even understand that land mass can't be used as criterion to create new federating units, as used in creating the 36 states in Nigeria.
Three senators from each state, that leaves northern Nigeria over populating the two chambers of the National Assembly. Thus no political restructuring can be done unless northern Nigeria is overwhelmingly favoured. I think u are wrong, and that shows u didn't learn anything from the last election. The north isn't a bargaining chip anymore. They tried it severally and failed but wen they built alliances, they won power. That's the clear nature of our political system. If u stand alone u fail which has been the case with SE. But wen u build alliance with other region say SW, ur chances of winning is higher. Also have it in mind that NC are beginning to realize they been slaves of the north for quite a long tym with nothing to show for it. |

CSTR6: He is going to win a second term though more keenly contested than it was in jonathan's time. His victory in 2019, would be a stark reminder of the backwardness of the Nigerian state, and the hold the poorly educated northern towel heads has on the rest of the country. I pity the SE though. Tethered to a perpetually backward nation with no hope in sight. Honestly! But more frankly, the whole of southern Nigeria is in the same mess too just that SW refused to see it the way we do. Having Lagos alone is like 0.00001% of the abilities the SW has but they just choose to stick with Nigeria. Well lets see wat will become of our generation come 50yrs from now. I believe if Nigeria remains maybe then the arrangement must have been altered to give development a chance |

Ontarget: I guess its too early to talk about 2019. But if things continue like this then Buhari will be a very vulnerable incumbent president facing reelection. The opposition party will be stupid if they don't snatch victory in 2019. If things never changed till 2019 a southerner can very much likely defeat Buhari, but I think the most ideal opposition candidate that will give APC a fatal defeat punch will be a Northerner who is a liberal Muslim, very educated, intelligent and articulate. Southerners are attracted to educated, intelligent and eloquent people. Religion doesn't really matter when someone has these attributes, and being a liberal Muslim is a bonus. The northerners due to the mass illiteracy there are only enticed by tribal identity and religion. All they will want to hear is "Northerner" and "Muslim" and their votes are secured. If the opposition comes up with a candidate with those combination of features I don't think APC will stand a chance even if they rig. Sad but true, you just hit the spot bro! I think buhari will be there for 8yrs tho, my humble opinion (not a fan of his tho). Proudly 5% |

eyinjuege: Customers being always right doesn't mean they have the right to assault service providers. In fact , the management of Eko hotels ought to take it up for the assault of their staff. The security man ought to sue the comedian, and heshould-Seyi law ought to be banned by the management of Eko hotels from ever coming to their hotel again. Now u are making sense, since the security man knew that social media didn't employ him, he should have gone to the mgt of eko hotels and tender his side of the story, since there's visible evidence of assault. Then the mgt of eko through their lawyers will communicate sheyi and file for the necessary damages not to come to NL and be character assassinating the guy. I tell u bro such incidents are even landmark cases, sheyi won't only pay for damages, he will tender public apology and this will serve as a deterrent to other celebrities to see value in the profession of others. Am no lawyer but my dear fools don't mess up around me whether you are president pikin or wateva, my right is mine 100% |
