gallivant: Yeah I can't argue with juvenile clowns. The Naija Constitution forbids child marriages yet you are telling us this medieval act is rife in the north! What's your point? Why are you even here? Forget arguing like a kid, don't argue for the sake of it. Buhari was the coup leader, and you idiots voted for him to die in office like Yar Adua. This is why Nigerians are the laughing stock in Africa. You are the juvenile clown here, stop meddling into what you know nothing about. Child marriage is NOT LEGAL IN NIGERIA, so fvck off my mention. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/07/child-marriage-not-in-conformity-with-nigerian-law/ |

gallivant: Killers are jailed in Kenya. Coup d'etat leaders become presidents in Nigeria. That's what is appalling? If you can't argue like an adult, stop quoting me for Pete's sake. Lionessza said child marriage is legal in Nigeria simply because it's common practice in some states in the core north of Nigeria. So l asked what section of Nigerian constitution permits child marriage? and then you came in with your fruitless abracadabra. Next time you follow the arguement before you quote. Buhari has denied being a part of the coup plot in 1983 and some believe he was given the mandate to rule as the most Senior Military officer then. I agree however that his role in the plot of the coup is still controversial, although he denies it. |

gallivant: What's the point of the Constitution when nobody abides by it? Your excuses are juvenile, you are better off logging off. What do you mean nobody abides by it? Killings go on in Kenya but the Kenyan constitution is against killing, so what is the point of the Kenyan constitution? Your logic is appalling. |

No wonder child marriage is legal in that hell hole, you are ruled by a terrorist whose people are gunning for the heads of the igbos lol. Buhari is here to make history, the arewa youth are his boys and the igbos will lose more than 3million this time around and I can't wait lol. Child marriage legal where? |

lincolnj88: so you meant that, the 2009 GDP excluded the deposits money bank, and the telecommunications sector.. .. yeah it excluded many things and did not reflect the full economy, we were using a 1990 model. Most nations rebased their economy as well. If it was done in the time of obasanjo we would not be 170 Billion dollars, but jonathan also improved the economy though. |
Business › Re: BREAKING: Nigeria Officially Exits Recession, GDP Grew 0.55 In Q2 by freshest4live: 1:05pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
lincolnj88: So the handover GDP.. .of $563 billion dollars is incorrect.. ... There is even an announcement by one of the Buhari campaign media aid that they will surpass $700 billion in Q4 2015 It is correct but not suddenly because jonathan came on board, but becaused we rebased our economy to include telecommunication, banking and nollywood. So we already had a better gdp than the 170 Billion dollars on paper which you said jonathan inherited but this only showed when we rebased in 2014 to include all sectors by modern standards. |

lincolnj88:
positive news at last.. Hope 2019 election campaign won't affect this breath relief trend.. . Mind you Buhari inherited a GDP of $563 billion ..presently we are $411 billion, so he still has a long way to go, before he can take us to the point he met us. .. Not even talking of surpassing $600 billion GDP mark.. .
Take a look at GDP GEJ he inherited and what he left for Buhari ... Mind you as at handover 2015 Q2 it was $563 That is simply because the rebasing was done in 2014. |

shervydman: fear not,we're gunning for win.......at least; 2:0 I don't think so, l believe we would lose or at best get a draw, either way it's fine, we are still building. l do not rule out the fact that we can win, just that we may no longer be that serious now and there are also injury concerns. No matter what happens, beating Zambia in our next match still gives us the ticket. |

igbodefender: Some people just aren't comfortable unless the Igbo's are wrongly painted as the source of all Nigeria's problems! So unfair and yet should be expected, as other envied tribes like the Jews face the same hatred. This is not true, the problem is that many insecure Igbos on social media boast too much, they started this arguement of super eagles players and their tribes while Nigerians were rejoicing, many had to remind them that MOST OF THE KEY PLAYERS SPAN ACROSS VARIOUS TRIBES IN NIGERIA. Simon Moses, leon Balogun, Victor Moses, Odion Ighalo, in addition to Mickel, Ezenwa, and Ndidi these were the major guys. |
Politics › Re: The 9 Igbo Players Were Chosen Based On Merit Not Tribalism! by freshest4live: 10:54pm On Sep 03, 2017 |
igbodefender: Read your history well! Igbos were the aboriginal group in Ile Ife. The Igbo kings were titled Obatala, or Osere Igbo. They ruled Ife till about 1000 years ago when Oduduwa The Great took over for the Yorubas. The Igbo descendants are there till today, but are now Yoruba.
The point is: we are all one and should build on that, rather than all these hateful mudslinging all over they place! Somehow we Nigerians are related than we even know, even names likes Ada were also historically Benin names, there is a connection also with popular names like obi and oba, the ancient Nok culture also connected many tribes in the region. I laugh when ignoramus seperatists speak of a so called Luggard contraption. We are not that different as some imagine, even Hausa before Dan fodio. I think only the fulanis migrated but they have been totally absorbed by the Hausas. |
