Ok so in essence you are saying only the igbo tribe is your family, cool to know. Some would also say only those from their village are family and even in that village Osus do not belong. Kano and Lagos would not suffer that much, but you would have to start from the scratch.
Compare your situation with the Catalonian's in Spain or say California/Texas in America, you'll see that they have what it takes to start all over as a new nation without the fear of becoming a failed state in a decade like South Sudan.
