Every sensible adult should already know this. The North-eastern region of Nigeria needs to see infrastructural development. The people need education, especially the girl child: when you educate a boy, you educate an individual; but when you educate a girl, you educate the society. And this brings me to the main issue: If the Chibok girls and other kidnapped girls are being radicalised and used as suicide bombers, then terrorism in Nigeria isn't going anywhere soon. I'm very angry with the Nigerian government for acting so slow. This is definitely not a forward-thinking government if they failed to recognize the dangers of girls being brainwashed earlier. Now these girls will likely teach radical Islam to their children unless something is done really fast. Nigeria is in more trouble than most people realize.

To answer your question about the American politicians, I'll say that we are not in America, we are not using their constitution so it's very mischievous trying to compare both situations. Our constitution clearly states "Public or Private Sector of the Federation" as shown below. Our constitution doesn't state that the Public Service must be Civil Service, hope I've clarified you on that?? Furthermore it goes further to state "as acceptable by INEC" meaning. INEC has sole responsibility to decide whether any qualification put forward by a candidate is acceptable or not. PDP has no right to do that...not even this Ijaw man.

Please take time to read the sections I've marked out then you'll realize that PDP is fighting a lost cause and Buhari can never be disqualified.

* Buhari never said his certificates were with the Military (He said his academic records which could mean anything - and of course his academic records were with the Military which they released some time ago)
* WASC or its equivalent is what is required as qualification to contest elections*
* One of the equivalents to WASC is serving in a Public Office for 10 years or more*
* Buhari having served Nigeria previously for more than 10 years is already qualified based on that*
