Tpia@ tnks for the correction. I really fancied his works(Hemmingway) for his simplicity and depth, such a style that is noticeable in Achebe's work. Overall, his role in the war was his bane. You will not believe it, but its true. |

Bernard Shaw won it for his work -the man and the sea- an 80somethin paged work. It was a masterpiece though. My point is this, Prof sure is better than most of the awardees, Gordimer attests to that in her speech after overseein the selection process that saw Prof winnin the 'Man Booker' prize; Noble prize board is aversed to individuals who played active roles in a war, except where they accepted peace- that explains the majority of africans who are winners of the peace category. Prof was a warlord. He fought on our side- a victim of circumstance. Kongi as an instance, was against the said war- a fact that beefed up his chances. War is evil. But the man in hi,m dies, who keeps quiet in the face oppression ditto to Kongi. |

It makes me sad. Am more saddened because i hate failures. Yes, is she (9ja and by inference myself) not a failure that sits on $224mil daily and her children dies of hunger? Lacks drinkable water, medicare, job for her youth? Now, i do not wish to be a failure, what do i do? Vote the failure out of power and dash him the 17 ambulances as severance package. |

@City Estate, the plots are adjacent to the estate which is fully developed with easy access through the newly built Amorji Nike to Opi Link RDand price range of 2-4mil. @New GRA by Trans-ekulu, you may know its a higbrow area and highly sought after partly due to its being well planned and partly due to location 3.5-6mil. Emene ESHDC plots are currently the vogue, due to the ongoing dualisation of the highway linking that area, 2.2-3mil. call me in the evenings 4:30pm down. Reuters reports that Apple has revealed it was “attacked by the same hackers who targeted Facebook” last month.
