RomanceRe: Is Masturbating A Sin? by fromnigeria(m): 9:53pm On Jan 19, 2016
Dekingmoses:
I do not expect that this article will change
anyone’s mind about anything. I do feel that
someone ought to speak out about this
thorny subject and present clear facts and
info about it for the benefit of those who
have been harassed and made to feel less
than human because they masturbate.

WHAT IS MASTURBATION?

Masturbation is the sexual stimulation of
one’s own genitals, usually to the point of
orgasm. The stimulation can be performed
using the hands, fingers, everyday objects, or
dedicated intimacy gadgets. I lifted that definition
right off Wikipedia, as it is an accurate
description and I do not feel compelled to
reinvent the wheel.

MASTURBATION IS NOT A SIN.
AS I am a Christian (while this article is not
religious in nature), I feel a need to speak out
from the Bible. There is not one verse of the
Bible that condemns self-stimulation. There
is not one that insinuates such a
condemnation. Yet, day after day, we hear
preachers condemn masturbation as a sin.
Their arguments?
There is the argument that sex was created
for mutual pleasure: Yes; I agree. Sex was.
But masturbation is not sex. It is sexual, and
many other things are sexual, but it is not
sexual intercourse in itself. Sex is for mutual
benefits; masturbation is for personal
benefits. Two different things. Yet, as I shall
show later, masturbation can be helpful in
enhancing sexual intercourse. Not only is it
not a sin, it is a good thing.
There is also the argument that Jesus said if
you lust after the opposite sex in your mind,
you are sinning. Yes; that is correct too, but
then what part of physically stimulating
yourself with the hands, fingers or any other
object is lusting after someone in your mind?
If a Christian lusts after someone in their
heart while masturbating, then such a one
has crossed the line that Jesus drew. That
does not make masturbation in itself a sin.
That person has merely corrupted a clean act
and needs to deal with his or her thoughts.
]
Its unfortunate you have your freedom of expression.

Masturbation is one of those sexual immorality which the holy bible condemns.

I won.t be deceived by your ignorance or deliberately deviation from the truth.

RomanceRe: 13 Facts you must know Before You Say I Do To That Man. by fromnigeria(m): 8:44pm On Jan 17, 2016
Toks2008:
It is the wish of many ladies to get married and while some ladies are fully prepared for the institution, many are totally naive about what lies ahead after saying i do but from my little experience in life, i present to you 10 things no mother or pastor will tell you before you say i do to that man.

1.That no matter how sweet the man is to you,no matter how caring and romantic and no matter how many prophets told you he is your man, that sweet man can turn to a demon after saying i do so what it seems before marriage is never a guaranty of what it will be after marriage.

2.If your man beats or cheats on you when you are courting, there is a 90% possibility that he will do even worse after marrying you and you need to understand that it is a big mistake to marry a man with the hope that he will change some characters you don't like but just learn to love him that way or take a walk.

3.If your man beats you once,it could be a mistake but if he beats you the second time then its a habit he is likely never going to stop.

4.That it is good to marry a man you have feelings for but it is a terrible thing to marry a man who does not desire you as much as you desire him.

5.That if you marry a man because of what he has and not because of mutual love then be ready to be miserable in that marriage as long as it lasts.

6.That a man can love you with all his life and could still cheat on you because most men think with that thing down there when it comes to their feelings for women and are polygamous in nature and no matter how sweet and disciplined you are,it will not stop him from cheating on you and divorcing a cheating hubby is no guaranty that the next man won't do worse.

7.As a lady, as long as you are sexually decent,GOD fearing,an excellent cook, financially independent and humble, you have absolutely nothing to fear because it will be extremely difficult for your man to disrespect you much less divorce you.

8.That not all men are calm but some have innate tendency to be violent so you must try at all cost to avoid any form of confrontation.

9.That women are women worst enemies and many of your female friends will be glad to see your marriage crumble so avoid discussing your marital flaws with them but take it to God in prayers and you must block your ears from hear says and believe what your hubby tells you even when you have an irking that he is lieing and whatever you have not seen does not exist.

10.That there is always a lady out there who is ready to push you out of your matrimony and take your place but 90% of men who cheat on their wives are not ready to divorce their wives but it is these wives that push the man out with impatience and hot temper so you will need lots of patience to deal with a philanderer because in most cases, they always come back home after having their feel of the side dishes.

11.That no man owns the key to your marital happiness except you because most men are the same and no man is worth the stress and as soon as you are married, you should focus on building your life as well as that of your child(ren).

12.That no marriage is perfect but every marriage has its own perculiar challenges and you must be ready to work on your marital pasture to look green cos that greener marital pasture you see on the other side have been worked so work on yours and remember that a happy union is not between two compactible people or two romantic people but its the one between two forgivers so learn to forgive and you will have a happy union.

13.That no matter how careful you may be in choosing a spouse, marriage will always be a black market where you must prepare for unforeseen situation and there is no right or wrong choice of man but what we have is your choice and what you make out of it and only GOD can guaranty a happy marriage.

Hope these make some sense.
Its sensefulllll. Kudos Op.
Very nice one.

Now this is what happened to me. I'm not gonna say it happened to a friend like some used to. I am just curious and would appreciate meaningful comments.

When I was much younger, precisely 6years, I had this quickie with a neighbour. He was around that Age too, we just did for the fun of it, I don't realy know what led to it, I just saw that this boy and I had some kisses and sex, twice.
I grew older and I blamed myself for doing that trash then, there hasnt been much exposure as it is these days, I had been a bad girl for doing the 'mummy and daddy's game'.
This year, I will be 24 years. I have never had any sexual intercourse after the one I had 18 years ago though I have had some boyfriends But sex was out of it.
To the Best of my knowledge then, there was nothing like pain or blood. Now, I wonder, wasnt the hymen torn then? How come girls even below 6 years (who were taken advantage of) now have blood stains and experience pains?
This hymen, do they vary in flexibility?
I wonder if I have been deflowered back then?
Now I experience mighty pains if anything comes around the V area, as tiny as a finger.
I am just curious..

It all depends on lots of factors.

3. Your own mentality etc

PoliticsRe: Is The $2.2 Billion Arms Deal Fraud Really A Propaganda? by fromnigeria(m): 6:14pm On Jan 14, 2016
TonyeBarcanista:
This article is to put to rest the attempt by some opponent of the ongoing anti-corruption fight to label the $2.2billion Arms scandal a propaganda.

While some opponent of the #armsgate probe allege that the money involved is $300million, facts on ground shows otherwise.

The $322 million Diverted Abacha Loot
Firstly, let me clarify on the $322million(not $300million) Abacha loot.

The said Abacha's loot came in mid(and late) 2014 from the Principality of Liechtenstein($227million) and the State of Jersey in the Channels' Island.

Before the monies even came, the FG set up a three man interministerial committee comprising of exNSA Sambo Dasuli, ex-justice minister Muhammed Adoke and ex-finance minister Ngozi Iwaela.
www.vanguardngr.com/2014/06/fg-receive-n37bn-abachas-loot-june-25/

The FG panel recommended that the money be used to purchase arms and on January 20, 2015, Ngozi Okonjo Iwaela sent a memo to President Jonathan to transfer $322 million to Sambo Dasuki which was approved.
Excerpt of the letter reads...

www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/how-okonjo-iweala-diverted-n61-4bn-abacha-loot-to-nsa-report/

This was confirmed by NOI in her December 10, 2015 statement through her spokesperson Mr. Paul Nwabuikwu. Here is a quote in his statement

www.punchng.com/arms-scam-i-transferred-322m-to-dasuki-says-okonjo-iweala/

I think this has been clarified that the $322 million was also enmarked for arms purchase. Let us see whether it was then entire money or a part of the whole.

The $2.2 Billion Arms Deal
After the sack of Sambo Dasuki as NSA in July 2015, the FG set up panel to investigate arms purchase from March 2007 to 2015 when Dasuki left as it was discovered that though the FG under Jonathan claimed to enmark billions for arms, the army authorities(including former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh) were complaining of lack of arms to confront Boko Haram. Here is an excerpt of the committee finding

www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/193398-%E2%80%8Bbuhari-orders-arrest-of-ex-nsa-dasuki-others-indicted-in-arms-contract-report.html

If you add the figures above, it will give an estimated total of $2.2billion. Also, the emboldened is clear enough to tell that the diverted arms money was from 2012 to 2015. While the $322 million is part of the entire arms money, it is not the ONLY money involved. Dasuki was appointed NSA in July 2012.

The panel also discoverd that “The contracts, which were said to be for the purchase of four Alpha Jets, 12 helicopters, bombs and ammunition were not executed and the equipment were never supplied to the Nigerian Air Force, neither are they in its inventory.

Is The $2.2billion Arms Probe Still A Propaganda?
After reading the above, will someone still call the $2.2 billion arms probe a "propaganda"?

If you read all the statements of Sambo Dasuki, he never denied the total money involved. He merely said that all payment were approved by Goodluck Jonathan
http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/arms-contracts-payments-endorsed-by-ex-president-jonathan-dasuki/120239.html.

Even Jonathan's statement in the USA of not approving $2.2 billion at once does not invalidate the subject. Nowhere did anybody allege that the entire $2.2 billion came in one batch. It is the estimated cumulative of extra-budgetary amount on arms probe from 2012 to March 2015.

We are at a period where we have to choose between taking a position calling for the prosecution of alleged corrupt government officials and their allies, or standing behind the corrupt element to fight against the anti-corruption crusade. This is not about APC and PDP but about Nigeria. There is no sitting on the fence.

Since taking this noble position on the fight against corruption, I have been abused, insulted and called names by opponent of the corruption fight. Nevertheless, I shall not yield to blackmail nor cease from standing for justice. Justice must be served!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Time To Change The Ballon D'or. It's Just A Popularity Contest For Strikers-lahm by fromnigeria(op): 3:53pm On Jan 12, 2016
This is what Lahm has to say about the Ballon d'Or, i couldn't help but strongly agree with him.

Ballon d'Or should no longer be all about world's best striker but The world 'BEST' Player.
There are players who have contributed both in club and country who are never recognized.
Change is necessary.

Excerpts:
In his latest exclusive column for Goal, the Bayern Munich defender says Lionel Messi deserved to win his fifth title but suggests a format change for the future.

How about selecting the candidates for next year's Fifa Ballon d'Or via Facebook? That would be a modern way of doing it. And the result would probably be the same as Monday's election.

The three most popular players on Facebook are: Cristiano Ronaldo with 108 million followers, Lionel Messi with more than 81 million and Neymar Jr. with 54 million fans.
First, I want to make it clear that Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar are fantastic footballers. It is beyond any question that they have rightfully reached the final shortlist numerous times.
But I have asked myself: What is the voting for the best footballer of the world all about?
Of course, it is an award for the best footballer of the year. That means it's all about the performances on the pitch and about the prizes won. Only a player who not only plays internationally, but who is successful on the biggest stage has the necessary relevance to stand a chance.
There's nothing wrong with this formula. It makes sense that the player of the year is someone who is an international and competes in top club competitions.
But when the voters are national coaches, national captains and a select group of journalists from 209 countries, I am convinced that only a few of these people, despite their knowledge, think about the topic. I have voted myself five times in the past and I don't exclude myself from acting in this way.

I know the procedure. During the season you receive a message and you are asked to name three players from a list of candidates. And then you simply go for the obvious choices–which brings us back to Facebook. You are stuck with the best-known names - players who you immediately remember pictures or games of. Players who are everywhere, on and off the pitch. You vote for the 'most visible' players.

That's why the Ballon d'Or has become a vote for the 'world's best striker'. That's not my embittered perspective as a defensive player but a neutral and statistically proven fact.

Fabio Cannavaro is the only true defender to have won the Golden Ball. The unforgettable Lothar Matthaus won the title as a midfielder in 1991 and after him Zinedine Zidane three times, but Matthaus was much more offensive-minded. Both won it way before the real start of the digital age. Oliver Kahn and Manuel Neuer made the podium but no goalkeeper has ever won it [since Lev Yashin in 1963]. To cut a long story short: Only the players who score goals can be crowned the best footballer of the year.
Of course, the moment when the ball hits the net, that's fascinating for kids playing the game and motivates them to join a club. Our sport needs lethal strikers, goalscorers, heroes.
But football is much more than the moment of triumph. Football is teamwork, unity, defence, assists, sacrifice.
I believe that when Fifa hands out an award, it should not be a marketing prize that solely honours the protagonists of a media-crazy sport. Maybe there shouldn't be an individual award in a team sport but (in addition to the world XI) four single awards for best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder and best striker instead.
This is because I don't think you can have one person who is the world's best player. In 2015, Lionel Messi is the deserved winner for the award of the world's best striker. Congratulations, Lionel Messi!
