Landers, I will be getting married before the end of November to a beautiful Edo lady. And this is why I'm here: From your experience, are there things I do not know yet? As regards preparation, how to cut cost? And what and what to expect?

Thanks so much for your contribution
Romance / Re: Sex Before And After by fromnigeria(m): 9:33am On Nov 19, 2020
Child bearing does not stop the enjoyment of sex. What stop sex enjoyment is that fact that most women feel relax after marriage and stop dressing well. They cannot entice their husband again.

Men are attracted to sights and when this stops, they look out for attraction.

It's not that the sex don't get enjoyable no more but the nigga man is simply tired of fucking same pvssy over n over again

Thanks so much for the info in the first paragraph. But second para. is not very clear to me...

It doesn't change. It's the passion that you have for each other you work on. Love is not what you see in movies. It's different.

About that issue you raised. It's up to you to communicate with your woman to up her game. Challenges of life and raising kids sometimes takes the buzz out of the woman and she just wants you to do your thing and be off.

This is brotherly, I appreciate

By now you should have gotten to the point where you can understand that not everything you hear can be admissible as the truth.

A man disposed to cheat will do so regardless of being married or not.

You're right, but what's it (sex) like, before and after marriage.

Heard one reason men go out for other ladies aside their wife is that after the first child and onward, sex with their woman (wife), is no longer as enjoyable as before child bearing. So they move out, in order to get satisfaction elsewhere.

How true is this?.

I'm just curious, as an unmarried, I want to prepare the mind ahead, since I really don't believe in cheating on myself... angry

Thanks to all married men here for your sincere input.

Romance / Re: I Am 30yrs, Earn 35k A Month And Will Marry A Student In A Months Time. by fromnigeria(m): 4:15pm On Dec 09, 2017
I was moved to write this epistle cos of the fp topic of marrying someone who earns 35k yesterday. I have seen such questions on NL but I normally ignore them. Someone even asked if a lady can marry someone who earns 100k embarassed. I normally laugh at the comments and move on. I laughed at the sheer ignorance of many commenters, and the foolish statements many made. I decided to assume that 70% of the people who commented are either undergraduates still studying who have a big Disney picture of the sweet employment awaiting them or some who have not really known what is out there in the world. The remaining 20% earn well probably and so feel life should be like that for everyone. The remaining 10% commenters are those who really see life as it is in reality – DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS. Now am gonna be objective and subjective at the same time. And let me warn you – IT’S LONG tongue

Me? 30yrs, had my BSc in the north but did my MSc at UI. Hoping to register for Phd by next year.
My fiancée? 24ys old and currently awaiting 300 lv registration. Will be done by 2019.

Having gone through the thread where E warriors blasted pastor David Ibiyeomie's church members for buying him a private jet, I decided to shut them up with this thread.
In this generation, it's easy for anyone to just say what they want without knowing the truth first.
I was a church critic, even worst than daddy freeze, until God took me to this church one day and my life turned....
I am not here to prove anything to anyone but to let them understand the wonderful work this man does that bloggers will never carry neither nairaland mods pay attention to it since its not a post criticizing a certain man of God...

U can't avoid moving this to the front page.
I wonder why Christians just decide to disobey their Lord Jesus, in order to please the world or go the way of the world.
Jesus said what your right hand does, your left should never know. Or else there is no reward.
Our men of God these day go as far as hiring media to cover their act of generosity.

Nairaland / General / What Shows You Love Nigeria by fromnigeria(m): 10:19am On Oct 02, 2017
Wearing green and white is not bad.
However, wearing green and white attire, or the Nigeria flag does not prove to me your love for Nigeria.
I know you love Nigeria when you nothing that will hurt her. After all, you don't hurt some one or something you love.
If you will stop giving or receiving bribe, then you love Nigeria.
If you will stop breaking simple traffic rule, then you love Nigeria.
If you will start praying for and not against leaders then you love Nigeria.
If you will start seeing the good in Nigeria, and praying for the I'll then you love Nigeria.
If you will execute that contract and make your normal profit, then you love Nigeria.
If you will stop actively it passively supporting the selfish and evil idea of Nigeria's division, then you love Nigeria.
If you will stop fanning the embers of war, then you love Nigeria.
If you dispose your waste properly, not throwing them into the roads, then you love Nigeria.
If you would start thinking of what is in for Nigeria more than what is in it for yourself then you love Nigeria.
If you will say no to running away from Nigeria, to other countries which spirits never developed, but their citizens, then you really love Nigeria.
If you will take up the better Nigeria project like it's your personal project then you love Nigeria.
If you will stop feeling inferior but start developing your contenance, then you love Nigeria.
If you would stop milking Nigeria, and start enriching her, then you love her.
If you would start building the image of Nigeria, and stop branding with 'yahoo Yahoo or 419' or with prostitution and traffickers of drug or human then you love Nigeria.
If you can become a responsible father and mother then you love Nigeria.
Wearing green and white does not necessarily mean you love our country, if tomorrow you do anything, deliberately. Whether in business or work or livestyle that draws Nigeria back.
You don't love our country like I do.
God (has) bless ( ed) Nigeria.

Religion / Re: Who is a Christian? and how do I know I am saved? by fromnigeria(m): 7:12pm On Sep 03, 2017
When the lord God Almighty called his children from hell beneath, Christ Jesus was the first to be raised from the dead, before us. Because you need to realise that before the coming of Christ we were dead and buried in our trespasses and sin

Ephesians 2:1 And you has the Almighty God quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2:2 Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now is working in the children of disobedience:

Next time you hear about Christianity, just realise that in the original senses of the matter, they died and was raised together with Christ Jesus. But he is firstborn from dead.

Christians are not just some religious folks who have stopped doing this and that, in the light of the lord God Almighty wisdom and judgement, they came out from the grave and hell. The headquarters of Satan the devil.

If you say I want to be a Christian right now, it won't be your own will to do so, someone whom you can not see right now, but would begin to experience the moment you begin to live by trusting him and living for him, has called you to hear his voice.

It's never anyone's will to be a Christian. We are called, chosen and ordained by CHRIST to bear fruit and keep this tradition for ever and more.

The great thing about Christianity is the good work it is born to accomplish on earth and in the world to come.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which CHRIST JESUS did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

These words of scriptures confirms and clarifies what I have been struggling to paint here. If you would read with complete attention and not studying to argue.

Let me tell you something that probably you have never heard of, the devil the enemy of your soul, what I mean by that is that he is committed to stealing your soul, not only that.

But to destroy it, all of your senses, reasoning, thoughts and feelings and emotions. And to finally kill and mortar you on earth. I mean dust to dust.

His duty is to keep you off from seeing what the lord God Almighty is doing through Christ Jesus, to bring you up to the very place of resurrection.

The truth I bring to those of us who have accepted that the lord God Almighty raised Christ Jesus from the dead, should always and never forget that we were raised together with Christ and seated together with Christ Jesus in the heavenly realms.

But, that is not experience by you because of limitations of your knowledge and understanding in affairs of truth.

Grow in grace and in the knowledge of the LORD CHRIST JESUS and of God Almighty.

To conclude, realise resurrection from your dead works, those things which have so influence you greatly on the negatively points. Not by your power or by your might, but by my Spirit says the lord God Almighty.

It's not our thoughts to be born a Christian, it's by the will and pleasures of the lord God Almighty that we are his dear children. Amen
This is surely an inspired piece. More grace to you writer. Permit me to copy & share
Religion / The Day I Began To Live by fromnigeria(m): 8:40am On Sep 03, 2017
KO Victor
Truth is, I have always love God and his service, even as a child, but...It got to a point where I had to call a spade a spade and not just an agricultural tool.
That truth is, I have just been religious all the years.
I found out one can't really boldly say he is a Christian, who has been saved and still be bound to all form of addiction to SIN. I remember I was addicted to Bet9ja (a gambling firm) then. I was as afraid of the future as much as an average unbelieving believer around me. Most importantly I really was not experiencing bunch of what the bible say disciples would. suffix it to say, I didn't really understand what it meant to be a Christian, I thought, as I learnt that it was all about being regular to the church building fifty two times in a year and doing all those religions stuffs. I thought Christianity ended with denomination. I never knew the essence of that gathering was to build up the body of Christ to the point where we can do all he did and beyond. although the opposite is the case in today. I lacked the TRUE knowledge of the God I worshipped, even though I knew some things which weren't true.
The soul kept enduring while seeking the TRUTH, because deep down as time went, it knew that something was lacking, that POWER, that separates Christianity from religion.
That fateful day, somewhere around August, 2016, in my abode, I moved, shut the door, sat and made that decision, that I WAS GOING TO BE A CHRISTIAN or PAGAN. I prayed God I needed to be known for one the two, instead of dangling between both sides, which translated to the latter. I decided I wanted to really know what I believed in, instead of just bearing that name, believer.
Well today, God who is always faithful and ready to help and show himself strong to those who diligently seek him has not stopped shinning his light on me and bombarding me with knowledge, the true knowledge of what it means to be a Christian, a follower, and a disciple.
Today, words can not describe how Free I am and feel to Be, Know and Do, to serve or worship in knowledge, spirit and truth. God has conspicuously via my diligent search, lead me to sincere teachers, here and over there, who are burning in passion to build up the body of Christ with selfless and unselfish but scriptural teachings. Now, I have a good feeling of how easy Christianity is, and I have a good knowledge of the nature of Satan, the evil one, even in the ocean of knowledge.
I am free of all addictions by the power in the written word of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
That year, the month, that week, one day, that DECISION.
I have been enlisted, NO going back. Too late anyways, the bridge was burnt.
God is really too good.

Religion / Singing Ministry? by fromnigeria(m): 8:24am On Aug 27, 2017
There is just five-fold ministry; Apostolic , Prophetic, Evangelistic, Pastoral and the Teaching ministry; designed by God to brings us (Christians) up to the full nature and stature of Christ, so that we be not tossed to and fro by every wind of Doctrine- which usually emanate from the devil, to distract us from the REAL THING. Therefore, Worship nor such ministry should not be integrated as part of the five-fold ministry neither should it be elevated above any of the five fold ministries. I am not against worship, I can not be, in fact, I have found out that, you understand and enjoy worships the more well after all five fold ministries have walked on you, your soul and body, to the point of really grasping the REAL THING, (conformity to the image and full stature of Christ). The life of an average Christian ought to be a life of worship, it is a lifestyle and should never an event. [Romans 12:1]" I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your SPIRITUAL WORSHIP." We are Christians because we are Christ-like, we are walking to become like Christ was while he was here on earth, and even do greater things. Meanwhile, Jesus Christ did not have a worship minister alongside in the street of Galilee while he was doing the work of the ministry. Today, I see meetings and programmes organised basically for praise and worship with less of the seed, (the word of God). I write this to remind the body of Christ as a whole how important it is for used to be careful, as the enemy, the devil is the most crafty and can do anything to distract us from the REAL THING. As long the we are often distracted from the important work of God, the devil is happy. Friend, Truth will make you 'mad', but after you are 'mad', it will set you FREE, and free INDEED. As I earlier noted, I am not against Worship. Even enjoy it more than me. But lets go for the real thing, Becoming like Christ and Bringing many into the kingdom of God.

The brain understands this your sermon perfectly but those idiots in between the legs will never do when attacked by Kongi. Konjism is a Momentarily Brain Immune Deficiency Syndrome, it renders the brain momentarily incapable of controlling the desire of the genitals!
The foolish can not control his own body. Because He does not plan to go far in life.

Your body belongs to YOU, so if YOU can not control YOUr body, what else can you control.

5 Reasons to Have Faith
You know five. I know only ONE reason faith in God is important-- To please.

Without faith you can not please God. Hebrews 11...

Faith is not primarily to gain abundance.
Religion / Re: Signs Of A Mature Christian by fromnigeria(m): 10:03pm On Aug 13, 2017
*Signs of a matured Christian.

This is how you know a matured Christian, when you see some living the life Christ Jesus lived.

A matured is a Prophet, an Evangelist, an Apostle, a Pastors, and a Teacher.
He lays hand on the sick and they get well, He is not afraid of man or the devil, rather the devil trembles once he is around.
He does all these for love. Love moves him. And he loves both friends and enemies.
