Hi Anon, you seem not to get me,

I have a Btech in Engineering, and i applied for Sept 2020, admission granted, deferred it due to the backlogs in the processing time till 2021.

Now, i don't want to have just one option for entry in Canada, so I was suggesting taking a BCS certification to boost my Express Entry Chances . to add 2 or more degrees when calculating the CRS scores.

Now the BCS exam is November and class started 4weeks ago, my question is, is it advisable I join the BCS because i don't know how deep the exams would be like

this is my first time

Hello House,

Please I would need some of your insights, although I deferred my admission this Fall due to the COVID-19 delays and backlogs I am considering the BCS certification in IT.

I would like to know if it is advisable for me to apply for the November Term, as this would be my first time and I don't know the rudiments of the exam scheme, I placed a call through and discovered that classes started 4 weeks back.

In addition, I hold a bachelor's in Elect/Elect and would also want to fancy my chances in the EE pathway while I hold on till next fall 2021 to enroll for my admission.

Thanks
Best Regards

Hello,
If anyone needs BCS study materials, you can message me
And I am willing to swap my spot in a private whatsapp tutorial group (with one of the BCS training centres) with someone else as I won't be writing BCS any longer.
All of this at a small token less than 45k.

I have sent them the emedical sheet again alongside evidence from
Qlife via webform and now
eagerly awaiting their response.

The friend i came with got an update of medicals received within 7days and i submitted mine(June 20th) before his(July 1st)

Did you send your Medicals via the Webchat platform? and followed up with the Kenyan branch office?

Hello Lekiboboe,

This bank statement you speak of, is this required to be sent to the Canadian embassy by the Banks themselves?

I would like to know, if there would be another statement to be sent(by the banks , directly to the embassy)

Lekiboboe:

Well-done @frankrobbn1

As regards this MyBank Statement Ticket,
Is it that, not all banks give applicants the Mybank statement ticket?

Cos a guy who submitted his Application last month had a sponsor who uses Polaris Bank, they sent the Mybank Statement ticket to the Canadian Embassy, and the Sponsor was also giving a Bank Reference Letter addressed to the Canadian Embassy,
but Polaris Bank didn't give his Sponsor the Ticket ID, they only gave him a Bank Statement having the following details

At the Top- left hand side, they wrote

mybankStatement® | date | Page 1

Summary info
Role - Sponsor
Account name - Sponsor's name
Address
Tenor - 6 months
Currency - NGN

Available balance -
Book Balance -
Total debit-
Total Credit -

Then the 6 months Bank statement, followed...

I guess it is ok he used this ?

Thanks

Hi guys please my profile changed to ‘we are reviewing the results of your medical results’ Last Tuesday instead of medicals passed.. medical was submitted upfront though blood pressure was high on the the day of the exam. Please is this Status normal or is there problem?

Hello,

Please after the medical submission, was there a mail sent to you to follow up with the Canadian Immigration Service Nairobi, Kenya

secondly, how did you reach out to them, and was there feedback?

And when were your medicals submitted?

Thanks
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by frostfr89: 8:03pm On Jul 12, 2020
Hello ,

Does this means the upfront medicals won't give a full visibility till the process is complete

and is the up-front a wrong step to take rather than just wait to be sent a mail for medicals?

thanks

Nwannediutor:

I have read from a couple of persons here who did upfront medical, passed it, and still got rejected. It is only when IRCC request for Medicals that you can be sure that your application is 90% approved.

Hello, please what is CBSA? and is there a possibility of any dept carrying out a check on the financial part with the banks?

Thanks

Guys! Don't feel super excited about the recent update. Please be advised that there are various stages every application undergoes once they have been received by IRCC. The R10 check is the first step - it is at this stage the immigration case analyst goes through the entire supporting documents including the IMM forms to be sure the applicant properly filled the forms accurately and afterwards they move on to initiate a request for biometrics. The Immigration Case Analyst is responsible for updating of medical records while the main immigration officer (VO) waits for your biometrics details to be received prior to start processing the application proper.

Biometrics is a very important and plays a pivotal part in the Canadian immigration policy. Also, without Biometrics the CBSA can't process/carry out background checks on applicant.

I hope this information is helpful to everyone waiting to undergo their biometrics.

It will end in praise.

And is there a method/Format i should send the mail or upload?

Hello House,

Please i would like to ask a few questions,

My application is an online-based type and i will be sorting the Tuition fees part of my POF and a Sponsor will cover living expenses.

1. The sponsor statement is a Pension type, would like to know if this is permissible?

2. Since 2 statements are involved, How do i upload 2 statements in Proof of Funds Section?

3. When should one send a statement to the embassy (i.e MyBankTicket (gtb) ), Before or After application submission?

4. Document checklist show 2 passport photos are required, Can i upload the two at once or include them in SOP?

Please kindly reply

@Odedenshi1 , please I just want to make reference to your statement made earlier,

you said this " (1) Cat A & Cat B refers to the appointment booking categories. If you graduated after 2017 with a First class or a Second class upper, or hold a German Language Certificate at level B2 with over 80points or a TestAS certificate with a score of 100 - 130, also holding a Scholarship Cat A sure for you otherwise you are on Cat B "

Emphasis on the "After 2017" does this mean that one can apply for CAT A , if graduated before 2017? just asking, I have booked for a CAT B for the second time now, lost an AL to 2019 , got another for 2020 . wouldn't want to risk it again. Kindly Reply

Bro try do small reading of previous pages if you really wan embark on this journey. Na information be man, now to your questions;

(1) Cat A & Cat B refers to the appointment booking categories. If you graduated after 2017 with a First class or a Second class upper, or hold a German Language Certificate at level B2 with over 80points or a TestAS certificate with a score of 100 - 130, also holding a Scholarship Cat A sure for you otherwise you are on Cat B

(2) With the latest development, Cat A is 8months while Cat B is over 12months. Although, anything can still happen because I believe in MIRACLES!!!

1. I have submitted an application for CAT B since 6th of June but no Appointment date and this makes it 2months , i have gotten an Admission Letter and need to enroll in person by 30th of August. they dont reply mails and calls are not solving , the lady is always grumpy

Is there a number i can call or something?

How can i speed up this process?

2. Is there any step needed to fulfill before coming to the embassy?

3. And there are a lot of documents i have seen been discussed here, what are the documents i need to bring along in person to the embassy for CAT B, and where to get them

4. and how long does it take to get a feedback from the embassy after the appointment

5. has the blocked account amount increased from 8830Euros
