Mattswaggz:
Every sensible person doesn't need to be told this.....how can a top arm producing and exporting country like US run low on ammunition just because of this war that hasn't even lasted a year?. grin grin cheesy....that was how we kept on hearing how Russia ran out of weapons just few months into their conflict with Ukraine but till today they're still firing at will....some propagandas are too dvmb seriously.
US is not the top global arms producer by volume .

Russia alone far outproduce the US and entire NATO.

If you talk of overinflated wunderwaffen, then give it to the US.

Russia just unveiled a very cheap version of the US Tomahawk missile system that is going for about $150k compared to $2ml that the US military industrial complex charges for one Tomahawk missile.

As per drones, the US is nowhere near both China, Russia and Iran in drone production.

The Iranian Sahaed drone that runs on a lawnmower engine cost under $15k. China is building their own arsenal based on this same model at far lower cost. The US MIC will probably charge no less than $300k per unit.

The US MIC is garbage .

Tell him to switch to Yoruba Yoruba ticket. That is the true reflection of his Presidency. The north can't be decieved again on Muslim Muslim ticket. When he does not even know how to do daily compulsory prayers of Muslims
At this point , I know that you know that I know that the only thing bothering you guys is Tinubu's ethnicity.

You also know your Obi is going no where.

And why should the north vote Atiku ?

The political establishment in the north is comfortable with a Tinubu second term so that they can get an uninterrupted 8ys after Tinubu.

Pls waste your votes on Obi again because Tinubu is going to win the north this time around including Kano.

Obi permanent address is in lagos. How comes he pays his tax in Anambra state..joker
Which tax does Obi pay in Anambra ?

Is Obi earning salary,?

His NEXT Supermarket is registered and incorporated in Abuja.

The breweries he used Anambra public wealth to invest in is the only one paying taxes to Anambra state government.

Fidelity Bank that he is a major shareholder is incorporated under Lagos state with it's HQ in Lagos and so pay corporate taxes to Lagos state.

There's nothing Obi has in Anambra that generates taxes and jobs for Anambra state.

If Muslim -Muslim ticket is wrong why is Christian-Christian ticket the only option in the SE and SS governorship elections?

Also , why are those against Muslim-Muslim ticket not pushing for a Christian-Christian ticket?

Awolowo was the only one to have run on this format and if not for Zik contesting just to thwart Awolowo, Awolowo might have won.

So my question is why are there no so-called Christian politicians from the south willing to pick a northern Christian as their running mate?

Mr Duke what happened to the Calabar Airport - Tinapia light rail you commissioned during your tenure complete with a plaque at the Calabar airport car park?
Politics › Highly Partisan Duke Urged NOI Not To Accept Appointment Into Gej's Govt by FSBoperator(op): 12:58pm On Aug 05
Former Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala claimed in her 2018 book, Fighting Corruption is Dangerous, that former Cross River State Governor Donald Duke urged her not to join President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2011 administration to deny the government credibility.

Duke acknowledged meeting her but stated he only urged career caution between friends.

Okonjo-Iweala's Claims Stated:

1. Donald Duke met her in Washington, D.C. in 2011.

2. Claimed Duke told her not to accept the finance minister job.Alleged the goal was to make Jonathan's government weak, lacking credibility, and prone to failure.

3. Noted she ignored the advice and accepted the position anyway.

Donald Duke's Response

Confirmed they met as friends when appointment rumors spread.

Denied mentioning government credibility or trying to undermine anyone.

Stated he only advised caution because she had faced a harsh exit from an earlier public office role.

Criticized Okonjo-Iweala for publicizing a private conversation, calling it in "poor taste".

Claimed later that her economic tenure left the nation in a worse financial state.

Anyone taking Donald Duke serious should have his head examined.

The many is highly partisan and will do anything for political sake.

This is someone who can never become VP talk more of President but ever willing to do PHD on others .

His reason for asking Ngozi not to accept the Finance Ministerial position was purely out of selfish partisan reasons.

When Ngozi refused his advise and later went on to serve and then wrote about her encounter with Duke, Duke will later begin to attack her that she left the economy worse than she met it.

Throughout Buhari's 8ys of disaster we didn't hear from cowards like Duke.
Now he is attacking the coastal highway that will connect his state to neighboring SS states for no just reason.

I will also say here that Duke is as corrupt as they come and highly overrated.

Go to Calabar airport car park and you will see a plaque he commissioned for a Calabar light rail project that will connect Calabar to Tinapia.

Nothing on ground to show for that project.

If you even review his adminstration you will see that other than Tinapia, he did virtually nothing outside starting Calabar carnival.

And this same Duke is not resident to Calabar or anywhere in Cross River but Ives full time in Tinubu's Lagos since leaving office.

TopBanter:
Imagine how some people think and talk lawlessly? Kanu should be released immediately?

Then all others should ask for their own folks convicted by competent Courts of law to be released immediately aslo so that Nigeria becomes a lawless jungle where criminal behaviour is not punished and there is no deterrent for wrongdoing.

Folks of the SE will demand Kanu be set free based on the premises terrorists from the North are being pardoned and rehabilitated.

Yet their arrogance and hubris prevents them noting the essential concept of 'repentance' as a facilitator of amnesty and rehabilitation.

Kanu himself declared "Nigeria does not know law" while all his people declared him innocent. Even on this form Truthera etal spammed relentlessly claiming Kanu is innocent and Nigerian Government is wrong/evil etc.

I just can't understand the self-destructively rebellious and unwise nature of the people of the SE.

Kanu would likely be free today if he confessed to doing wrong and promised readiness to reform as captured Northern terrorist routinely do.
They know that Kanu is guilty as charged.

They know that no court can set him free.

They know that they are not in any way capable of securing a political solution for his release.

They know that Tinubu (once open to Kanu's release) is no longer interested in granting Kanu a pardon as it will run contrary to his ongoing clampdown on northern Terrorists which has seen to over 3,000 terrorists convicted so far.

They know it is all a futile waste of time to call for Kanu's release but they do it all the same because aligning to the convicted Terrorist, Kanu is the surest way of gaining public support among their Ibo folk who are yet to see the actions of Kanu as criminal .

Even Giringori -God forbids he ever becomes President - can not release Kanu because the backlash especially from the north will be violent and widespread.

The only hope Kanu has is true repentance after a lengthy stay in Prison which is what Prisons are designed for , from where he can formally apply to whoever is the President in 2043 to consider his release on health grounds.

You and your God knows that you have never lived in Igbo land before just like many of you who are judging in ignorance.

I built a house in Aja- Lagos and I know what your brothers omonile did to me. It was like they were sent by the devil to make sure that at every level to discourage the building project even with all the relevant government approvals.

But thank God I never allowed them to discourage me. I don't know how many they have frustrated in the past and the government can't do anything about it.

If what happened to me was done to a Yoruba man in the East, you will open a thread for it and be disturbing people up and down. I also know how many markets your agbero has burned down just because of little disagreement in your region but do we complain?

We have decided not to allow anything to deter us in Nigeria, why don't you accept it too when you are in our region and stop pretending as if we are finding it funny in your region.
I have lived in Ibo land across several states and I can tell you that the average Ibo is a tribalist and xenophobe.

If a non Ibo starts a novel business in the SE, the Ibos will not patronise that business.

Rather , they will study it and then open a similar business and from there get their Ibo people to patronise it.

If a non Ibo has a business side by side with another Ibo person and they are into the same business let's say a bar , no Ibo person will patronise the non Ibo person.

The ones that do will be scolded by others on why they should be patronising the business of a foreigner above that of their fellow ibo.

You will find out that businesses operated by non Ibos attract only non Ibos .

The issue of not selling land to non Ibos is well documented.

If you are a non Ibo working on contract sites like in my case, you will get unusual hostilities from the locals for no just reason because you are not Ibo.

There was a time the community youth stormed my site not demanding for jobs because to them labour work is beneath them(most labourers I had were northerners) but to get money from me. This isn't omonile oh. Just give us money because you are not Ibo . They didn't take anything from the job site but wanted me as the contractor to settle them because I am not Ibo. This is despite the fact that the owner of the property is from the same community. I called the man but he told me it's between me and them, that I should settle the youth. I did. Finished the initial work stage and told him to get a new contractor that I was done.

OPINION: The Igbo Spirit of Accommodation Deserves Recognition

The photograph above captures members of the Yoruba community celebrating their Amala Cultural Day in Owerri last year. It is a simple but powerful reminder of something that is often ignored in today's divisive conversations.

Despite persistent narratives suggesting that Igbos are hostile to non-indigenes or deliberately push others out of their communities, realities like this tell a different story. Facts will always speak louder than propaganda.

Across the South East, people from different ethnic backgrounds live, work, worship, and celebrate their cultures freely. The Yoruba community organizing and celebrating an event dedicated to one of their most cherished cultural cuisines in the heart of Owerri is evidence of the openness and hospitality that have long characterized Igbo society.

The Igbo people have traditionally embraced enterprise over ethnic division. We believe in hard work, peaceful coexistence, and creating opportunities for anyone willing to contribute positively to society. Rather than wasting energy on discrimination or needless profiling, we focus on building businesses, supporting families, and growing our communities.

This is not to claim that every society is perfect, but fairness demands that we acknowledge the many examples of peaceful coexistence that exist instead of promoting stereotypes.

Respect should always be mutual. When people are welcomed, allowed to thrive, and free to celebrate their culture, those gestures deserve recognition.

Ndị Igbo are an accommodating people. We believe in coexistence, commerce, and community. That is the spirit that has defined us for generations.

If you claim someone has a degree and doesnt have a promary education then you are indicting the institution that awarded the degree, sane to say many of us here didnt attend primary and secondary school but we graduated from the university.
CSU gave him admission and he graduated with a BSC.

Go and ask CSU what pre-qualified Tinubu to get enrolled into their BSC program.

CSU has since clarified that Tinubu graduated from their institution and that is final.

The electoral law has SSCE/GCE O'levels as the minimum requirement to contest an election.

The law does not require one to post their academic journey but the highest academic certification which Tinubu has done so.

You guys attempted to dismiss his BSc as fake but when CSU stood behind him, you are now going to search for his primary and secondary school history which is irrelevant because the law mandates that one submit their highest academic qualification with Secondary School O' levels being the highest.

Even if you score F9 Parallel in WAEC it doesn't mean jack as the electoral law requires proof of attendance and completion of Secondary school .

The question to ask is why Obi submitted WAEC as his highest qualification in 2023 despite claiming he holds a university degree.

And when you are at it, why are there no alumni meetings from the same Nnsuka university with Obi?

Agriculture › Re: This Kenyan Left His Country To Start A Farm In Oyo State, Nigeria by FSBoperator: 5:47pm On Aug 03
What he didn't say is that Kenya has been experiencing a multi decade drought for the past 40ys and that the current WEF appointed structureless govt that came to power last 4ys has done everything in its power to destroy small farmers in Kenya.

First , they signed into law a similar water bill which the Buhari govt was pushing but could not get through the Senate . That bill consolidated all waterways and underground waters as property of the govt. It also ensured that all setback lands adjourning rivers and streams became property of the Kenyan federal govt. Thereby seeing to many Kenyan small farmers who depended on irrigation from these streams and rivers evicted from their lands.

Next, the govt banned fertilizers and pesticide imports as being bad for the environment. The outcome of this is obvious as the few farmers that still operate are finding it very difficult to produce good yield due to the ban on fertilizers and pesticides.

Lastly, the govt decided to open the Kenyan market to GMO foods thereby flooding the Kenyan market with unhealthy and cheap imported crap.

This is the reason this man is here on Nigeria because we have no droughts and all that bs policies from the WEF and dumping of GMO foods is not in any allowed.
