So if I get you correctly, Ukraine doesn't have freedom to do business or anything with others right? Why couldn't Ukraine join the EU and other economic alliances, Russia have no problem with that and they even told Ukraine that it is their right to seek economic prosperity. But Military alliance is different, you have to consider a lot of things before joining one.

If Ukraine had been close to Japan 🗾 or beside Germany and wanted to join NATO I don't think Russia will give a flying fvck. But you just can't join a military alliance that puts another at risk. Ukraine had no enemies yet US was lobbying her to join NATO for no reason at all other than just to put their nukes close to Russia borders like they did in other countries. US isn't lobbying Jamaica or Nigeria to join NATO, why must it be those countries bordering Russia? LoL

See ehn, the war didn't just start Feb last year, Go make research on WW2, Cold War, Minsk agreement, Disbandment of the USSR, first Georgian war.. just make research online so that you can grasp the whole thing cos as it stands, you have been conditioned to believe Russians don't have freedom and don't want Ukraine to have freedom either.

Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, as well as other promi­nent Lawmakers, received House of Representatives Press Corps Award, yesterday.

The Award of excellence, which was held at Executive Hall, International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja, was the 2nd edition of the House of Representatives Press Corps Dinner/Award.

The award ceremony also presented an opportunity for the Speaker of the House of Representatives to throw more light on the Bill seeking to guard against Killing of innocent Nigerians through Jungle justice.

An elated Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu bagged Award for Excellence for Constituency development, while the Special Guest of Honour, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, also received an award for Excellence.

Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu's Award according to the Press Corps, is in recognition of his outstanding performance as a Legislator in the last two years, especially in Constituency Projects and activities. The Corps' also acknowledged his contributions on the floor and his deep knowledge of Legislative business and contribution to debates.

Other recipients of the Awards are: the Leader of the house, Hon. Alhassan Doguwu; the Chief Whip, Hon. Mohammad Mongono; Deputy Chief Whip, Hon.Nkiruka Onyejeocha; the House Minority leader, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and a few others.



The Special Guest of Honor, Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila, who spoke extensively about the Jungle justice Bill, used the opportunity to condemn in strong terms, a section of the Media whose stock in trade is to mischievously twist well intended Legislative works for pecuniary benefits.

Narrating what he termed mischief, he posited that: "sometime, some people, might even be a minority of the journalists will twist the truth for a particular end. Sometimes for political end, sometimes for economic end and sometimes for whatever reason that doesn't help anybody and doesn't help the Country.

"The other day, somebody reported from Vanguard, and said a member, and it made the rounds, all over, that a member of the house and the house have passed a Bill to criminalise protest, and to jail protesters for protesting.

''And there was no such thing in the House. Nothing like that! And the gentleman had to come up to the floor of the House a day or two later under personal explanation because he was bombarded by his constituency, that there is no such thing.

''Now, is it mischievous reporting or genuine mistake'', he asked.

'' And if it were genuine mistake, I had expected that for something so serious, the newspaper responsible would have come out the next day, rather than the member himself, even if it's a tiny print and corrected itself, that sorry for this misinformation, this did not happen, we regret our error. End of Story. I haven't seen that, and it's been a week now". He however advised that: "we must be honest, so that we can get better".


It will be recalled that a well-intended Bill Sponsored by Rep. Emeka Martins Chinedu, in order to guard against Killing of innocent Nigerians through Jungle justice, was twisted by the Media on the imprimatur of mischievous elements to appear like he was against lawful Protests and Assembly in Nigeria.

Once a buyer of human leg for ritual, always will be, there is no way you wanna stop doing it.

And anything that has to do with Nigerian judiciary is another wahala pro max case, bribery and corruption runs in thier veins and blood, they always understand the language of money.

₦3m cannot and should not build a 3BR in today's economy.
Inflation per se is not a bad thing,but the earning power of people working or doing legitimate businesses must correspondingly increase to meet up.
But what makes the Nigerian situation a paradox is that government, specifically the FG FG alone,is increasing salaries of civil servants to just try to meet up,but every other employee in the states and private sector,is earning below relatively minimum wage.
That creates a dilemma where majority are poor and the middle class is almost wiped out,creating a fertile ground for corruption in various forms to thrive.
Yahoo and runs,yes they are bad,but they are direct products of that paradox where many people earning well are those into illegitimate business and the runs girls go to them to indirectly benefit from the money.
It will take a serious,focussed and dedicated governent to set Nigeria right.I doubt Tinubu is that person,but I wish he succeeds,lest the country will cross the rubicon of a decadent society where everyone tries to get by by any means possible.
Japa too is a honest version of the poverty the nation has sunk into from mismanagement over not just the past 8 years but over 16 years or so.

A country that don't have speed limits on any of its roads

A country that don't have roads that's not playable by heavy duty vehicles.

A country that over half of the drivers on the road didn't properly learn driving or it's ethics.

A country that half of the drivers on the road have no driver's license

A country where no one cares if the driver is drunk or not.

A country where drivers toggle between lanes intermittently like it's driving competition..

A country where if the driver see pedestrian crossing that's when they will increase the speed of the vehicle. Very devilish people

Lots of teachers in Nigeria are not qualified at all to be in the academic environment especially in the university.
I see no reason why students who were able to score atleast 200 in jamb would have majority fail a course and the lecturer would be happy failing them while the school board would see it as an avenue to promote the lecturers.
They are just papery qualified but lack psychology to lead so they use the easy way which is fear.
I'm glad the university environment is changing quickly now.
The lecturers who pride themselves in frustrating students are still there receiving less than 300k salary in this hard economy and less than 5yrs to retirement while they have no tangible investment to hold on to.
They now result to receiving bribes from the yahoo students we now have while ridiculing themselves in class cos no body rates them again.
How life evolves.
I was shocked how easy it is my lil cousin was saying it so easy to manipulate result now in his school. Some boys no dey even write exam sef again.
It's that bad now and it happens in 80% of our govt University. How the mighty has fallen.
More than the govt, those heading the education sect needs to be revolutionised.
