love connotes having a deep affection for a person or a thing....and perfection is not underlined here. which means it can fade with time due to circumstances bothering on human imperfection. but that doesn't mean that true love doesn't exist.
however, the only true love that never fades is called "agape" ....it's the only kind of love you can term as "unconditional"..
