Has anyone got emergency date approved of recent in Lagos? I got emergency request denied this morning and I uploaded all documents required and followed the emergency request details.

Were you within 60 days to the start of your program?
have you submitted ds160 and paid sevis fee at least 3 days before requesting for an emergency?

Please, if emergency request is approved and on logging in it is written on the portal "your group size is larger than the allocation" . Please, what does this mean?

They don't work weekends, so I don't think they're included. To be on the safe side, wait till Thursday. Also, in addition to the i-120 and sevis receipt, also upload your admission letter and offer letter(like someone did somewhere above). And compose the mail well. Make sure you're within 60 days of resumption. To avoid denial

Yes, but some of them don't like "many documents". I think is just about who handle your "case" (as it were) among them.

Yes my program starts in January, 5th to be precise. But let’s assume my application for the emergency appointment was to quick, what about people who followed the wholes of three days after submission and all that but were still denied the emergency appointment?

And no reasons were given. I really don’t get. But it’s passed now, I’m hopeful that dates will be released soon, because going to pay another MRV fee is not even an assurance that one will get the Emergency appointment approved.

Maybe they didn't upload I20 and sevis fee receipt, or what do you think?

If I were to reschedule for another appointment and make changes to my new DS-160 I.e. saying I'm employed now while I mentioned I wasnt employed in the former ds-160, would that affect my interview in any way?

P.S. I am a freelancer, but didn't mention that previously.

What's the gap between the two? If it's true, then you don't need a good memory to tell the truth!!! You should be quick to explain to the VO at the slightest opportunity...

I think it takes 3 days after submission of DS160 and 3 days after sevis fee payment for it can reflect on there system.

Please I was denied an emergency appointment in Lagos. And would like to try Abuja and then request for an emergency appointment. Would this lead to the forfeiture of my current mrv fee? As I would first have to cancel my appointment in Lagos. Because trying to reschedule only shows me farther available dates in Lagos. What do I do?

Yes, it's per day. I guess maximum of 4 to 5 times. After which you will be logged out till the next day.

Once i click previously denied in the last 2months, it automatically says no date available. I was denied on friday 6th November and I've been trying to get a date to no avail.

But if I pick regular, I'll see a date. I can't pick regular because I've been denied recently.

Am I the only one seeing that or do we have other people seeing that also. Please respond this time. Thank you.
