haaaaaaahaaaaa!!! pls my brother the devil is a liar,the cause of the fruits turning yellow is the recycled seed they sold you,the fruits when mature they will turn yellow like local cucumbers and the size will be stunted,I told one guy that was promoting recycling hybrid seed that it doesn't work,all these goggle farmers if they plant 10 crops in their backyard they are profs,we recycled cu 999 seed 2015 and planted on 4 plots,every 4 days we can only harvest 30% all will be yellow,if u want to pick in 2-3 days it will still be small, hybrid seed are made up genes from 2-3 different varieties chosen for their good traits,if u recycle hybrid seed it will revert to the character of 1 of it's parent stock,we have planted recycled hybrid yellow maize and got local white maize in harvest,you planted recycled hybrid cucumber what you will get is local cucumbers.

All depends on variety... Darina is 35-38 while mona Lisa is 40 days plus.. At this size, if it's mona lisa I can still leave it for a day or two before harvesting because I know it will grow bigger and greener unless it's on the soil, that's how most of them get yellow.. Darina at this size should be harvested.. If u leave for few days, it will turn yellow. Whether they are on the soil or not so it all depends on the variety u r planting

In mile 12,if you want to sell a bag of cucumber, they will pour everything down and Rearrange the cucumber themselves, while doing this they are checking what they are buying. They remove yellow ones, white ones and small ones.. If all dz are removed and the sack or bag, they will reduce their price with the difference of 500 or higher and you will wondering why you put that kind of cucumber and lose 500..its beta u harvest quick tho... Yellow and white cucumbers are no more cucumbers.. A pure green cucumber owns the market

I think i find solace in this last sentence . Me that installed over 50apps at a go from play store and the fone refuse to warm talkless of hot, i didn't regret migrating from Mtech. As powerful as my Gionee M6 is, e go don hot like hell fire. Thanks boss.

Hello sir . I am interested in planting cucumber next year. I did a test run around June this year on a plot of land just to gain some experience . I planted directly to the soil. It was a ploughed land . I didn't stake it at all and used just one variety of insecticide which I can't remember the name. didn't apply fertiliser at all. I noticed some came out big while others are just small . I got 3bags at least although I did not measure it. Shared among friends and family. now I really want to give it a go this coming raining season so here are my questions

1.. which month is favorable to plant next?
2..In absence of manure, what could be used as replacement?
3.. Is it compulsory to apply fertiliser?
4.. do you have any idea of buyers around Ilaro, Ogun state cos that's where my farm is located.
5.. which is the best seed to plant.

we harvested it 5 times and got 32 bags then my workers used urea fertilizer on it ,because I traveled to Enugu and the crops died I was hoping we will get 50+bags,but we have replanted it 7 days ago..

I'm interested in this Cucumber farming, but I've never do any planting before. I have almost everything at my disposal and even a big river which is just 30meters to my land.
I want to give it a trial:
Question 1: Can I substitute Cow dung for Chicken waste?
Question 2: What are likely disease during planting and the remedy too?
Question 3: What's the spacing size?
