Happy weekend house!!!

@hayqinsbFX:
VO indeed do make mistakes, pls adjust where necessary.
Also, seems people applying for SOWP are increasing now, can you share the documents submitted just like the default study permit app of this forum, for others of same interest to learn from.
God bless us all...

Good a.m. House,
Is it true that CIC/VFS collect ONLY photocopy of application documents for paper route applicants?
Need an urgent answer for my friend here because he has like 3 different landed property documents and co which make his documents voluminous.
Thanks for reply.

The first I used a company that charged me 30cad because my brother is always forming busy.
But I am hoping he has the time to help me order it this time around.

If you are considering reapplication , then I suggest you get a masters admission.
That was our undoing and unfortunately what ever policy that brought about that took effect this Fall. It's really sad.
Good am . What is the actual fee for gcms file application and can your brother help me to apply for it?

Cheer my e-family.

TACKLING FAMILY TIES
Have you thought of adding
*letter of recommendation from church

*photograph of you and your bae having a nice time, with a writing ' me and my girlfriend' at the back

*make an original print out! With the heading
'Your area developement assosiation '
with the topic of building a gate at the community and development of the street

List the attendees of the event! Make yourself the project manger overseeing the project

Make sure u have an assistant project manager
And list out other positions
Treasurer
Members
Accountant
Other

*make another print out of 'your community development association' acknowledging to your absence and approving it cause it would be more gain to the community if you have international knowledege

*gather some men, and kids, stay on the street n take a picture and write "community development project 2012"

* stand beside electric poles and do the same thing

Ps: make sure all document are signed and dated by any 1

TAVKILING TRAVEL HISTORY
Just that you're applying soon,
I would have advised you sacrifice 5k, goto cotonue, get stamped at the border

Include it in your sop, that you went to oversee a project and you realized you needed more international exposure as the project management world is evolving by the minute

Make sure you tell em to backdate the stamp and spacen the entry and departure (that's if you'll be goin)

Also they are boys that do the whole thing for a fee! You'll get stamped entry and departure of 4 countries (ghana, togo, cote dvoir, benin)
You can always ask around

All that just to tackle TRAVEL HISTORY

Just my idea of showing ties to your home country and development to your environments. As well as relation to your program of study

Your finances are ok!
Just
Don't jampack your SOP with too much details!
It would only show desperacy

More ideas to come soon smiley

Good a.m. Pals!!!
Pls I have a couple of questions for the house.
Is Air Travel Insurance (ATI) necessary/ a must to enter Canada? So also, Yellow Fever Card?
Secondly, connecting flight I saw to Halifax N.Scotia will pass through US( New York or so), pls is there any other way round to enter Canada apart from enroute US( to avoid Transit Visa Quagmire)
I will appreciate anybody travelling to Halifax around August 31, for co - brainstorming.
Thanks.

Now dis evening, I got a mail from vfshelpline saying this,

Dear Applicant,

We would like to inform you that your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 03 Aug 2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.
You can track the status of your application through our website mentioned below using your tracking number.

I re-tracked my app and d date changed from 29 Jul to 03 Aug.

Which kain life, why dem dey use person play na.
Why this inconsistency in CIC message nowadays? Hummmm.. They shouldn't play with u people approval mail ooo because medical mail to otherwise is not funny oo let alone POE letter to otherwise.
PLEASE KEEP FAITH ALIVE!!!

What do you mean by standard internet rate? Moreover the exchange rate does not have a fixed figure bt you will get a good deal using any of the 2 banks you mentioned compared to GTB, UBA
This exchange rate of a thing, can someone explain how Dom. Acct via GTB and co can help solve this problem of exchange rate charges. Is there benefit of sponsor wire $$$ into someone Dom. Acct for any transactions e.g school, shopping etc in Canada.
Please experienced people ur advice is needed urgently.

BluntlyMe:
Hello everyone... Please I applied for Spousal open work permit, SOWP since May 27. Haven't heard anything from CIC apart from getting their monthly patience mail. It's been more than 8 weeks. Please is this normal? Anyone in the same position as me? Or know someone in my position? Or someone who has been there... Did it take this long? Am I safe??

E no easy ooo..
I guess is because of peak period of study permit and co, someone post success transcripts within 22 working days sometimes ago. So, keep faith alive!!! Moreover, may I ask for ur email, wonna ask on how u package the documents and co... Thinking of doing same -SOWP.
Thanks!!!

I submitted my payslips and Letter of introduction from my place of work but not my SOA.

my school starts September 1, 2015. Is it possible reapply because my husband will be making up the money in his savings account to 7M for me to reapply next week.

My school does not permit deferment more than once. I defer last year cos I had a new baby.

Hummm... my brother, is more than 4m of a thing. Mine after medical stil insufficient fund with 33m sponsor acct closing balance, personal 2m fixed deposit, salary acct 1.1m, Dom. acct of around $5k+ et al (All to tackle previous reason of insufficient fund). Maybe they are expecting us to have 1Billion in our acct like Dangote son.
#CIC quagmire.

hayqinsbFX:
as you said....since its just insufficient funds, its easy to tackle.
if only you were on the thread earlier after your first refusal you would have known the 4m wont be enough...

what prog are you going for......Uni or college?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by funmi14: 7:18pm On Jul 31, 2015
This is too bad of CIC- only the affected can feel the pain.
But in it all... IT IS WELL. #Godwin.

Jengbetiele:

Woww!!!! This is so unbelievable!! from medicals passed to refusal again....I heard the case of someone who got medical call and got refused for the same reasons as yours!!! It is well bro, regroup and refire and try ensure its not so close to the 'rush' period.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by funmi14: 10:14am On Jul 31, 2015
Thanks for the info. I hope 2yrs TRV (starting from this Fall 2015) will be ok to start OWP to PR journey sha?

IyaEjima:

This is what I got from her:
She filled d IMM forms for OWP, TRV application and family information; attached letter of sponsorship from sponsor and related financial docs, police report, marriage cert.. Her hubby got a letter of enrolment from his Sch in ON, submitted his statement of account and copy of study permit(must be valid).. Got called for Medicals and u knw d rest.lol.. Took 20working days.
PS: d date of expiry on d study permit will be d same date of expiry on d SOWP so she recommends d partner with d study permit ensures it's got a longer period of validity.

Am laughing loud here oooooooo. Funny post. It is well with us in Nija, those Witches are real mehn.. Eph. 6vs12.

handyteddy:
Well, This is Nigeria, for all of those that believe in spiritual attacks, We know fasting and prayer isnt easy, if you get a medical call, abeg. for God sake, dont start broadcasting, this witches also visit nairaland hehe grin ...... well lemme give you an example, an uncle of mine got Visa to the, he decided to keep quite, until he got to the airport, the he threw a silent parry and starts tweeting , on getting to the US at the port of entry, they told him someones head was in the passport grin grin grin his back in Nigeria now, telling stories of DC airport.. Just my own opinion o

#It isnt over until its over
# untill you see application closed... anything can happen
#infact they can ask the VO's to come to ur house and collect the visa back grin

I pray denial would never be the result of our application, for all the TRV hopefulls, we would all have a cause to celebrate here IJN

Have a nice day y'all

Good pm house.
I discovered people are no more posting their transcripts, either granted or refused for others to learn from! Please let's endeavour to do so... #Godwin...

Secondly, I would appreciate if anybody know any successful applicant of SOWP, and is it advisable to apply for it-myself as case study.
Spouse - Visa granted. Won't it look as desperate attempt, moving from Study permit to SOWP application.
@Team12 and house... Kindly advice.
Thanks.
