Shut up ur mouth n stop lying

It is true. All previous administrations have played politics with that road. We are genuinely grateful to Ugwuanyi for the singular act of honor.

Buterflyle0:
Atiku is a scam. Drinking garri with fork and knife beside him.

Who soaks garri in a flat plate? Then he has juice to wash it down.

This is a simply a scam publicity photo to further scam his gullible Athiefkulators as the OP and the rest of them

Oga, this is probably oatmeal or cornflakes but definitely not garri. Don’t let poverty destroy ur sense of judgement.

All these publicity stunts for a governor who does not pay pensioners. Go to Anambra State and get some tutelage on workers’ walfare.

So this thread was not closed while some other less sensitive ones were closed because they are explaining the falsehood targeted against a particular ethnic group.

Shame on you Seun and your moderators. Very tribalistic set of people.

I didn’t know ACN has seriously contested for election in the SE and stood a chance to dislodge APGA in Anambra. Can same be said of APGA in the SW? Guys let’s be serious here.

Nicely articulated. I feel very ashamed on the level of insensitivity and unguarded comments on this forum. This govt has failed. We must give a new set a chance and push them away if they fail also. Failure is failure irrespective of the tribe. All of us are sinking together.

Great choice. Let’s hope for a new Nigeria where there is respect for life, appreciation of our diversity and unity of purpose in closing the divide in the country. Unfortunately, Buhari is just too narrow minded and lacks the flexibility to lead a country like Nigeria. He is mentally unfit.

If Atiku must appease SW by giving them VP according to some of you....why did Buhari give SW VP in the last election when SW was already locked up for him. I didn’t see any of you shouting then that he should give SE or SS VP to secure their votes. Is this not hypocritical?

All these arguments are unnecessary. The VP is already zoned to the SE and will come from the SE. No need to join in all these irrelevant ourtbusts. Everyone who has the interest of the country at heart must now support the party to victory.

When was the last time the governor paid pensioners? He has completely failed in this regard. I find it hard to understand why our leaders take this very important civic and moral obligation for granted.
Culture / Re: Igbo Marriage And Bride Price: Put The Records Straight (Represent Your Culture) by future001: 10:24pm On Apr 12, 2018
Obinagu, Akpugoeze in Oji-River LGA of Enugu State.

Our Umunna (family) list is in itself ridiculous...a goat, 2 cartons of beer, 1 carton of malt, 1 carbin biscuit, 1 snuff and a cigarette. I remember we had a discussion to remove the cigarette because it's not healthy. Bride price is negotiated and is made to be somehow filled with drama in accordance with the tradition. But it's typically between 0 naira and 20k but that depends on the father of the bride to decide what to accept. Even with this list, we had a bad groom that came to marry our daughter without our goat....People can be funny sometimes you know.

Health / Re: My Back Pain Is Killing Me - Pls Help by future001: 3:17am On Dec 04, 2014
I also experienced chronic lower back pains a couple of years back. I visited several hospitals and took different medications some of them with terrible side effects yet to not avail. My life was then in disarray. At a time I could not even carry a bucket of water without limping with pain. Mind you, I've always exercised regularly and the pain was not because of adding weight.

Today, I'm completely free from the pain. This happened not because of the hospitals or pills but changes that I made in my lifestyle. These include:

1. Drastically reduced the amount of time I spent on traffic. I used to spend on the average 4-5hrs (1.5hrs going and 2.5hrs returning) everyday driving to work. I moved to a place closer to my office and now spend maximum 1 hr/day (30mins going and 30mins returning). I think this was the turning point to my self healing.
2. Started using orthopedic bed and always sleep face up
3. Manage the time I spent sitting in one position at the office.

Once I reduced the time driving on traffic, the pain gradually left and overtime I hardly experience the pain anymore.

I wish you quick recovery as you battle this terrible condition.

Politics / Re: Touts On Edo Highways by future001: 8:28pm On Dec 18, 2012
I think Edo people need to accost these touts because it is a big shame condone such a broad day light armed robbery.

I have accosted them twice and they are really a big worry anytime I plan to travel to the East. I met them the first time in 2009 on my way home from Lagos and they beat up my colleague and extorted 13k from us. The next year I went to the Local govt council and requested for all the documents you can imagine. Yet on my way home they still extorted 5k for some paper I've never had of. These guys are road side thieves and deserve to be hanged.

Nigeria! Nigeria! Nigeria!

Igbos have voted for Shagari, Abiola, Obasnjo, Jonathan.

Have you ever voted for any Igbo Person? But then how can you vote for those tribalistic Igbos.

Aisha-tu: I hope u are satisfied! Pls do us a favour and tell us the ethnic configuration of Agric, water, education, works, lands, petroleum etc

Maybe this way we can have a more objective analysis.

When you criticize, why don't you first of all remove the rod in ur eyes before criticizing another's speck.

Some people are just paranoid and terribly hypocritical. Ok, aviation ministry is now dominated by Igbos? How about the other ministries? Could someone pls show us the ethnic content?
Obviously aviation ministry has all this while been a Yoruba affair notwithstanding that the previous ministers (Njeze) were Igbos. By the way, so the previous GMs of Yoruba ethnicity were meritly promoted while others meritly unpromoted.

Our major problem is that our sports men and women don't have any endorsements. Our governtment has failed but so has all these firms in Nigeria. Have you ever seen any sports man or woman in our tele adverts? Instead we have hollywood and unknown faces that add no values to our lives.

But lets be serious here. How did the NASS come up with their figure. Probably because their over bloated contracts are not approved. And this translates to failure in budget implementation. But of course, NL are always gullible and will always follow the tide as it suits them.
