This is broad daylight robbery that occurs at night. Sometimes, when I subscribe, it works perfectly. At other times, it works for 5mins and it stops. When i resubscribe, it starts working again. If Airtel wants to charge twice the amount for their data, they should state it. I can't keep wasting my airtime for services not rendered. After losing sleep for such disappointment to be meted out. It's very unfair. I also noticed that, if you are a regular user, night in night out on daily basis, you might face this problem. I believe those who have not experienced this do not use it daily. Try using it on Daily basis and you'll receive your own share of the big knock on the head. |
henrygale: Pls get your facts right. This is XLE albeit 4 cylinders. Don't let me also go into basics. #Getyourfactsright |
rawdpiper:Yes I did. |
After so much skepticism, I decided to give this night plan a try because I'm an ardent MTN nightcrawler. I subscribed for the #50 plan for 1.5GB around 5pm on Monday evening. The next test was to see if it would work as stated. Mind you, the subscription process was flawless. The codes work as stated. At exactly 12:06am on Tuesday morning, I inserted my SIM to verify all the hullabaloo on this thread and to my amazement, it worked! It worked like nothing I've seen before for that price and my download speed was an average of 1.3Mb/s. However, I am yet to confirm if you can subscribe more than once in one night even though there are many who claim to have done so. By and large, Airtel has the thumbs up from me particularly after dealing with me mercilessly when the hourly plans were running. It's an experience I'll never forget because it was terrible at best. Thank you Airtel for making my sleepless night worthy and thank you for keeping your word this time around. |
Keep telling yourself that. If Saraki can pull this stunt, then he is presidential material and wields a political clout beyond the reach of many. Buhari has become too comfortable in Aso Rock that he has begun to believe he owns Nigeria. People are getting wiser and in no time, the masses will hit the street. Resign amicably Buhari. You have nothing to offer Nigeria. Let someone else lead. An empty head will always be in retrogression and will continue to because there is nothing inside it. It's a pity that some people still believe he'll work magic. |
How many international awards has he won? Does anyone in Nigeria still give Jega the thumb for a job well done? It takes time but truth always surfaces. He rigged in favour of the North and APC, starting with the distribution of the PVCs. He turned a blind eye on manual accreditation that took place in Kano and other notable states as well as child voting. Only Obama, not America, recognises this clown of integrity otherwise, accolades would've been flooding his doorstep like the leader he removed. Now look where we find ourselves. If accountability is anything to go buy, this man should be probed by another party. He is a crook with a tinge of deceit as integrity. Same applies for the man currently occupying Aso Rock. Crooks in native attires! |
With the current inflation facing Nigeria, I doubt if you can achieve any meaningful solace from a #300k investment. Better trying than doing nothing but self-sufficency from this money is almost impossible in a year. Things would even be worse when you factor in feeding, rent, transportation and other dues. His best bet would be coming to terms with many years of hard work, patience and support from friends and family. |
Op, I agree with you totally. I think discipline is the main take home point here. |
Not good A staunch PDP supporter but this would be a big blow to the country. Maybe it's true that it's difficult to come out comopete from Aso rock. Heard there was an agreement not fulfilled after a covenant was made before the presidential villa was built. |
Oghene mè!!! Is this in any way connected with the burial of the late king? Or does APC guber primaries now require a human head to appease the underworld? |
Well said NDtans. This is the clarion vision of true fighters. When the Pharoahs of Nigeria are expecting the obsolete warfare, you've evolved brandishing the same tactics that brought down the great Roman Empire. I can't wish for anything more than your independence. After watching how our unity has crumbled because of power greed by the Northern Oligarchs, it's safe to say that your cause is well timed. If only the North would agree to the implementation of the confab report to foster more patroitism, things would have been different. Rather, they'd rather continue to propel their control over every region in the name of One Nigeria. The least acceptable in this union called Nigeria by Niger Delta should be resource control, geopolitical zoning of the presidency and a complete revision of our electoral system with Electoral votes taking precedence over Popularity votes if possible. If your fathers made ignorant concessions in the past, it must be corrected. Either the North eat their yam and let ND drink their oil or we terminate our coexistence. My 2 cents. |
An oil well owned by Chevron has been blown up by Niger Delta Avengers in Warri, Delta State, the group announced. “At 1:00am today, the @Niger Delta Avengers blow up Well RMP 20 belonging to Chevron located 20 meters away from Dibi flow Station in Warri North LGA,” NDA said. It also denied being any in dialogue with the Federal Government. The minister of state for petroleum resources, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, said on Monday that the government was ready to enter into a dialogue with the militant group and scale down the military presence in the Niger Delta, hoping to stem down the spate of attacks on oil installations in the region. “Probably, we will suspend the operations of the military in the region for a week or two for individuals in the creeks to converge for the dialogue,” Kachikwu said. He explained that the government was determined to restore “genuine peace in the region where oil production has been significantly hurt by the activities of the Niger Delta Avengers”. He urged the militants to accept the government truce offer. “The avenue is open for them, provided the militants are willing to embrace dialogue and allow truce to reign,” he said. http://m.guardian.ng/news/national/avengers-blow-up-chevron-oil-well/

Why is no one talking about the new pipeline they bombed yesterday belonging to Chevron? |

DaBullIT: Please be silent! If you have a problem with them clamouring for their sovereignty or control of their resources, get a stove and cook your yams. You want to oppress them with their resources after making the government of their brother ungovernable albeit going after politicians in PDP from SE and SS. Please throw your tantrum elsewhere because it's ill-advised. |
The fundamental problem is the inequality in the running of Nigeria. No government has ruled this country without the North being part of the government. This cannot continue. States that can't even pay salaries of their staff are in existence today because they are sure that once you grab federal power, the oil wealth is yours. Why else do they want NEDC? Where is the funding going to come from? They do not want your petty surveillance contracts and they are not criminals. They have a just cause and it's only a matter of time before the Niger Deltans take to the streets to demand equity and justice. Either they are liberated or we adopt true federalism. The present administration can only suppress them but not break them. They have my sympathy. I will stand with them! |
davodyguy: How old are you? You want power and their oil too yet you don't want them to have a say. Kid! |

leisuretym: ![]() Honestly, they want to leave Nigeria. Let them go. This isn't going to end anytime soon. The best bet would've been restructuring Nigeria. The North must bend. |
Peace Mass Transit is just another case where money comes before life. Ruthlessness, overspeeding and disregard for passengers' safety are a few of their trademarks. I know these because I've always travelled with them in the East. It's almost similar to placing your life on a dart board. To make more money, the company has abandoned the more reliable Toyota buses for Chinese buses that mere breeze continuously adjusts the side mirrors. Nothing in these new Chinese buses acquired by PMT stays in place. If you look closer to the recent accidents, the buses involved are not Toyota products which have a better safety score. Why the lives of customers would come second to profit bedazzles me. I pray the internet will bring more awareness about the poor safety measures in PMT and their moribund road marshals. |
sooperrescue:Good talk. Thanks. |
CountDracula:Are you saying Buhari is the only Nigerian who works without results to show? Please be serious and stop this sychophancy; it's nauseating. Rather than clamour for the government to sit up and stop the blame game, you're blinded to think that the militancy scourge we're faced with did not emanate from the 97% comment. |
adimonyechidi: I tried it this morning and I've got to say MTN kept their word. It's okay. 500MB or close to that. |
Why can't anything work properly in this country. Even the APC (All Promises Cancelled) government is weak to do anything but frustrate the masses. Op, I'm sorry you were scammed. |
This is bad. Very sad indeed. Sometimes, when you see some drivers on the highway, you wonder why the ruthless driving especially tanker/trailer drivers. |

I'm not amazed by Thier jubilation or cheering the ND Avengers, I'm disappointed some of them actually believe militants can win a war against the country
