Nigeria through NLNG has over 7 LNG ships which can be used to deliver gas; in the event that they're not available we can hire several Q class LNG ships from Qatar or Korea to deliver the gas.

The problem is that Nigeria's gas infrastructure is not even fully developed, the little we have is being blown up by militants in the Niger delta creeks.

For you info Nigeria is sitting on about 190 tcf of gas which is one of the largest in the world...to put that in perspective the crude oil Nigeria is producing can be regarded as a by-product of gas cos our gas reserves dwarfs our oil reserves by far.

Some consortium of US energy companies are already planning how to construct 4000 kilometers pipelines from Nigeria all the way to link up with Algeria's current pipelines going into Spain. The defense ministry has failed woefully in cubing oil theft. We recorded our highest oil production during Jonathans tenure, there was like zero crude oil theft and that was because Jonathan gave the contract to secure the pipeline to him Tompolo. When PMB came in a canceled the contract and declare Tompolo wanted he disengage his boys from the contract and ever since than Nigeria has been losing more that 700,000 barrels per day to crude oil thieves. in as much as I do not like this move as it will not benefit the average law abiding citizen even in the oil producing state. it is a win win for the government. and mind you Tompolo is not an almighty that will supervise the vast pipeline alone by himself, he will engage other militants lord to secure their territory and this will reduce crude oil theft in the country. The 4 billion he will also use to settle his boys and the other militant generals where there are NNPC pipeline. Nigeria loss far more that that 4billion payment on the contract per day to crude oil theft. I have worked with the NPDC/NNPC before and one of the biggest challenge is pipeline vandalism and crude theft even though we had lots of soldier we feed and pay salaries to protect this pipeline, it is this same soldier that organize boys to vandalize and steal the crude. The defense ministry is extremely corrupt, soldiers aid these criminal to steal the crude. so for the sake of Nigeria this is a welcome development.

I am really disappointed at the way Wike is going about this whole thing. I use to have so much respect for him but the way he has carried on since the emergence of Atiku and Okowa shows that Atiku is justified in his decision not to pick him as his running mate. What he is doing now is exactly what Amaechi did that led to the rise of Wike. If care is not taken, Someone greater than wike will emerge in Rivers PDP and he will become irrelevant.

They didn't know he was a tout when he singlehandedly handled PDP affair from 2015, when your beloved Atiku abandoned they party and Jonathan to APC to campaign for his brother Buhari. Wike literally saved PDP from dieing, if there was no wike Atiku would not have mat a PDP to return to in 2019. Going by what Wike has done for PDP, is it right with the way PDP is treating him now.
