Iran's Revolutionary Guards have brought down a foreign surveillance drone during a military exercise, the
official Islamic Republic News Agency said on Saturday.

"We have managed to bring down a
drone of the enemy. This has
happened before in our country,"
the agency quoted war games
spokesman General Hamid Sarkheli
as saying in Kerman, southeast Iran,
where the military exercise is
taking place.

The agency gave no details on who
the drone belonged to.

In Washington, a Pentagon
spokesman said he had seen the
reports. He noted that the Iranians
did not specifically claim that the
drone was American.

In the past, there have been
incidents of Iran claiming to have
seized U.S. drones.

In early January Iranian media said
Iran had captured two miniature
U.S.-made surveillance drones over
the past 17 months.

Several drone incidents over the past
year or so have highlighted tension
in the Gulf as Iran and the United
States flex their military capabilities
in a standoff over Iran's disputed
nuclear program.

Iran said in January that lightweight
RQ11 Raven drones were brought
down by Iranian air defense units in
separate incidents in August 2011
and November 2012.

A normal human being should know that God exists.
Anyway you view it,ie if their senses are functioning & their spirit man is not controlled by demons,or spiritually caged,they should know that there is a creator ,with some supernatural powers ,that created d world.
The account of Jesus is real ,and a sensible person would have ,at least do little investigation about him and his miracles.The bible always mention the names of Kings,cities,and real names of people's lineage from generation to generation.
The bible talks about how God parted the red sea for about 7 hrs and d Israelites escaped from the Egyptians ,and concluded by saying that Pharaoh and the Egyptians perished in the red sea.
A sane person or someone seeking the truth would have reasoned from that point that "for a sea to be divided and some people to escape on dry land for hours is not a myth, if the names mentioned actually existed and the nation of Egypt did not dispute that it happened to them.
So,they are aware of the fact but have gone too far from God,that they would rather believe the satanic message ,that God does not exist,because it would remove guilt from their hearts.There case is like someone with a problem that drinks alcohol ,thinking it would erase the problem or make him to forget the problem.
They know what they are doing.
Some are Satanic agents directly from the pit of hell,they will argue with you, as demons do.Demons can talk and can design and use the internet better than we.

I witnessed a scene at mushin in 1999 or so.A thief was caught and was set ablaze at Olosha bus stop,while people were gathered and mourning for that thief as he was been roasted alive,another thief was picking a pocket ( trying to steal money from somebody's pocket) among the crowd that were gathered.He was caught and also burnt to death. This means that even if Obama calls it "mark of the beast 666" directly, they will not mind and would go ahead and receive it.They will tell u "I do not care".

So, stop arguing with these categories of people above,because there is no sense u can make as far as they are concerned.Go to hospitals,prison yards and preach,some will accept and some will not.But because they have witness something about life,they are likely to believe you.

The love of God that is in you that wants you to share this facts will not depart from your life in the name of Jesus.

Remember in Revelation,13:6"And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God,to blasphem his name,and the his tabernacle,& them that dwell in heaven." So don't be surprised when they call Jesus bad name.

I know your intention is to convince many that there are powers that push people into hell fire. But some have people have decided to go to hell and some know they can not escape hell ,like d demons.

God is a Spirit so He's not subject to our physical laws. In this physical world something cannot come from nothing, get that into your thin head.

And if you believe in evolution, how come only apes evolved? Why didnt other animals evolve? Why are we the only intelligent being in the universe? Why is the earth perfectly aligned in space such that just the right amount of energy reaches us from the sun and planet jupiter shields us from most of the meteors from outer space such that planet earth is the only planet capable of supporting any form of life? If you believe in the big ba.ng theory or some form of energy shift in space as the origin of everything, where did the energy come from and what/who triggered the shift in energy because in this physical world something can never come from nothing?

If you've got no answers to these or if you think the whole thing is just one big coincidence then you are so so lost - you are just a lost cause dude.

Pls dont do it dear, these people could be quite convincing especially if you are not very very strong spiritually. They've succeeded in derailing many Christians; they are the agents being used by the devil here on Nairaland to deceive Christians.

greatgod2012: @ op im a mother, and i cant think of d last time i slapped my kids, not to talk of an adult, i guess your mum is naturally aggresive, what i will advise you is that, when you are both in good mood, walk up to her and tell her you have something that is really bothering you, and since you claim she loves you, she will want to give you attention, go to her, kneel down and tell her your mind, that you dont like d way she slaps or shout on you, let her know what you will likely do if such repeat itself, say whatever you want to say with all humility as well as with all seriousness, remind her that some of your mates are already mothers, and you dont believe somebody of your age should always be slapped like that.
Ask her if shes transfering d anger she has towards your dad to you, ask her if she will be happy if her own mother treat her like that at that age, ask her so many thought provoking questions, that she will know that she has actually gone beyond normal, let her know this is not d best way to correct you, even, if you err.
And one more thing, make sure you always behave well.

See also that The Soul Winner will be rewarded. 1st Corinthians 3:8, "Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour." !

Now coming to what the same Apostle Paul is saying in 1st Corinthians 3:15 Here,Paul isn't talking of our works to be saved but that as we are saved,what have we achieved for God as saved Christians ?That all the things we do after been saved will be burned,if they are not worthy enough to gain us a high ranking profile,then it will just be that we have been saved and are in heaven ! Abraham died and went to heaven and so was lazarus but they were both in heaven with different ranks !

Everything that one does as a Christian for the Lord Jesus Christ—soulwinning, doing good, helping the poor, lending without hope of return, teaching the Bible, contending for the faith, loving our enemies, passing out Bibles—will be greatly rewarded by God in eternity.

Please understand, none of these things will get us to Heaven. We are saved solely by Christ's righteousness; and not by any self-righteousness of our own, and a good thing, because we have none to offer God (Isaiah 64:6). Hence, we don't do good works to become a Christian; we do good works because WE ARE a Christian.The big question that we will be asked when we get to heaven will be 'HOW GOOD WAS UR WORK WHILE ON EARTH '? Those works are the things that will be tried according to 1 Corinthians 3:15. And if they are found to stand erect,he will be rewarded in Heaven but if they are burned,the righteous man will still be in heaven but the loss he will suffer will be the low ranking profile ! There are captains in heaven and there are other low profile heavenly candidate.But the good thing is that every one made righteous by the death and blood of Jesus will be in Heaven.
So brother,by his grace,we all will make heaven but let us fight to have a high ranking profile in heaven according to 1 corinthians 3:14 THE FIRST GROUP ! And not allow our works after been saved to be burnt and fall into the 2nd group -1 Corinthians 3:15 !

Forgot to add that part. Well, am the only child so i guess there none other to slap. But i know she's this mild person in her office and people around her seem to love her alot but me, sometimes i just hate her. I've threatened her with moving in with dad but each time i do that, she's always remorseful. I might just do it without her knowing, thats all.

For the other part, I have a job already but not too a strong one that keeps me away from home always (a part-time one) plus i earn peanuts for now and that still makes me rely on mum, plus am still a student and she does all the fees, have got no option. As for the boyfriend issue, do you really think having a boyfriend will make her stop slapping me?? Do you? If yeah, how?

If you are earning peanuts then you need to up your pay in order to depend less on her. You say she buys you things and I'm sure she also picks all the bills, that might actually cause her not to respect you as much as you'd have wanted even though she loves you.

As for the boyfriend, you need to be extra careful because most of them boys are only after one thing.
