Luke 7:18-28
New International Version:
18 John’s disciples told him about all
these things. Calling two of them,
19 he sent them to the Lord to ask,
“Are you the one who is to come, or
should we expect someone else?”
20 When the men came to Jesus, they
said, “John the Baptist sent us to you
to ask, ‘Are you the one who is to
come, or should we expect someone
else?’”
21 At that very time Jesus cured many
who had diseases, sicknesses and evil
spirits, and gave sight to many who
were blind. 22 So he replied to the
messengers, “Go back and report to
John what you have seen and heard:
The blind receive sight, the lame walk,
those who have leprosy [a ] are
cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are
raised, and the good news is
proclaimed to the poor. 23 Blessed is
anyone who does not stumble on
account of me.”
24 After John’s messengers left, Jesus
began to speak to the crowd about
John: “What did you go out into the
wilderness to see? A reed swayed by
the wind? 25 If not, what did you go
out to see? A man dressed in fine
clothes? No, those who wear
expensive clothes and indulge in
luxury are in palaces. 26 But what did
you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I
tell you, and more than a prophet.
27 This is the one about whom it is
written:
28 I tell you, among those born of
women there is no one greater than
John; yet the one who is least in the
kingdom of God is greater than he.”

I dont see how John doubted Jesus. He had not met Jesus so he simply sent his disciples to Jesus to ask if He is the messiah.

this is why gun control is needed in d US. Those kids wld have been killed if the attacker had had access to guns.

I read a book about a little girl whose eyes was opened and saw hell. She saw a young boy who was in hell for being disobedient. She also saw a pope there.

Revelation chapters 7 and 14 suggest only 144,000 people will make/are in heaven.

Luke 3 and Matthew 3 says no one born of a woman is as great as John the baptist.
Matthew 11:11 says the lowest ranking person in heaven is greater than John the Baptist.

Now my question is, from the above verses, does it mean only 144,000 pple will make heaven and does it also mean John the baptist is not in heaven?

I need Bible scholars such as Goshen360 and others to shed light on these.

Sophizzy: You know, men also have K-legs and women, bow legs too. I doubt the sex of a child has anything to do with the kinda leg deformity they may get.

Itz true but bowleg is much more common amongst guys while k-leg is much more common wt ladies.
Wondering if it has to do wt d kind of activities they are involved in as kids - boys play football and fight a lot while girls skip rope....

Why do men usually have bow-leg while women usually have k-leg?
