cadno: I did not hold for 10years for nothing, it was under technical suspension, so now that it has been lifted, Am wondering if I should just sell collect my 50% lose shavings and move on Trend: unlike most stocks , Ikeja Hotel is on a long term bullish trend breaking its 52 wk highs , above its long term trend line and only just pulling pack this last week. there the path of least resistance is likely higher. there are no certainties oh Options - not sure about the liquidity - but u can sell some (25% or 50%) to free some cash, cash is key going into Q2 - no one ever went broke taking profits - and keep d rest so far it stays above its 50dma for example (trend following method) and that way u eliminate the daily noise - it's always hard to make recommendations cause i don't know pple's pain threshold, beliefs , mindset and patience level - but whatever u decide , pls be comfortable with any outcome dont over think it and complicate ur mental state - hope this helps in a way |

yok: MSCI- NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR 27 JUNE 2018
Selling continues. The problem with the fund is that due to the need to maintain a specified percentage for all equities in the portfolio, once selling starts it will affect the whole portfolio. This is because if the selling is just one way, some of the equities will become overweight.
This market is waiting for rescue. So much negative news about Nigeria is currently dominating the media space, but the stability of Oil price is still the saving grace for our exchange rate/another market crash.
Let us continue to watch the market and be ready to snap up, good equities if it falls to the level that we can afford to hold for the long term. For example if I see CCNN at NGN20.00 (it is a buy for me).
Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling.

Due to the fact so many new people are coming to this forum and may not know this use of following the “big monies that move markets”, I will be indicating why/how to use the information. This will be a permanent future of my post to reduce some comments which may prevent the people that understand the system from confusion by people who have not followed how this started. My comment for today for anybody who is doubting the efficacy of following the fund is to look at my recent recommendations for the past 2 months.

onegentleguy: The last 3 trading days of last week saw the price of a certain coy plummet by over 16%, topping the losers chart for the week ended June 22, 2018.
I therefore rate HONEYWELL FLOUR MILLS a strong BUY.
Apparently, there is still 'a lot of HONEY left in the WELL'. ...and this is a really good TIME to 'sip from it'.
Disclaimer: This analysis is purely result driven. ...it should however not be seen or interpreted to mean any kind of outright recommendation. Due diligence still advised as always pls.
My Verdict: Pls follow ur instinct.
