yok: MSCI MOVEMENT IN PORTFLIO FOR 6 JUNE 2018/GENERAL MARKET COMMENT
The market is coming alive little by little. The fund have started buying. This is a good relieve for the market. In the light of the recent bear market, there is need to be more nimble in the market. We observed that the market can fall faster than when it is rising.
Now I will stick to watching when the MSCI Net Asset Value (NAV) loses up to 5% on weekly basis, I will slow down and when the losses is 10% on monthly basis, I will exit the market as fast as possible.
Looking at what the fund is buying now, I am not a fan of most of them especially when I am practicing some “rogue trader” tactics to quickly collect some dividends that others have worked or did they suffer for it!!! Sorry I will not tell the name of any now we have named them in the past, the prices have fallen such that further price fall after my dividend collection is very minimal.
Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. wats ur take on cash changes ! |

IchimokuPilot: When the market comes back to retest those lows of friday, many shall panic the more and drive the index yet lower..... Markets love retests, but you can not predict when. If it discovers the point is weak, Janet appears.... The earlier the retest the better, to avoid inferred political interpretations that will wax to a halt the slow grinding engines of the exchange. This is the time to arrange your cash like military formations, approach the market purely from a war perspective. Have a clear and well defended retreat passage. Never move all your army to any one battle, your friendly neighbours may have been submissive enemies of necessity and may have been keenly waiting for an opportunity. Never rush to fire at a few wandering soldiers and expose your location.... Use more snippers at this stage.... Affirmative sir Defensive mode activated loll also u may consider changing ur moniker from Pilot to General Sun Tzu will be proud |

musty00: Things are happening at lightening speed this year.
If the index loses on Monday (tomorrow), the losing streak this year will tie with what we witnessed around October/November 2014 (highest since 2010).
A reversal is likely soon.
Not a recommendation o. severe bearish streak . . Oct 2014: - oil broke below $90/bbl for the first time in over 3 yrs , d index started a 2 yr bearish trend July 2015: - both oil and nseasi had a relief rally q1 of 2015 before the down trend continues . - oil rose 48 to $66 before heading down to $30 by 2016 jan um na wa #JustObserving |

Asmaraabc: I have been counting my losses since February applying average down approach. 2 weeks ago, i decided to be on watching mode, although, promised myself not to sell at loss come what may. Reading a couple of analysis from many ogas this weekend, i begin to be tempted to average down again on Zenith only. Is it a good direction? Useful advice is needed from everybody before giving instruction to my broker. tough call . . most successful traders preach against it . it can drain available capital very quickly and worse still is d mental drain on ur emotional capital but some traders are very comfortable with doubling down on d losing position oh. IMO, i think it's more forgiving or appropriate in an uptrend and can be very complicated in a down trend. |
