Hi folks, gold is currently pulling back, and it's down at 2045, now on the 30min chart there's a FVG at 2044, I would like to see price find support within the imbalance or maybe consolidate there before pushing higher, but I feel there's a higher possiblity that gold may be range bound till tomorrow before we start seeing some serious move to the upside, with PCE data coming out tomorrow, that maybe the catalyst that will send gold higher, cheers...

I started trading the account last week Monday, 20 and today is 28 November.

Status was on going and now they marked it ended and finally passed after review; trading objectives completed.

Sure. I just passed my FTMO phase 1 $10 000 won in sit-up competition courtesy of infofirst.

I exited at 2026, price dropped to around 2024. I noticed strength and re-entered at 2027 exited at 2036 thus achieving 10 % within 2 weeks trading only gold.

Be happy for me. Negative energy please stay away.

The trick to passing prop firm account besides experience is starting well with good risk management.

Never risk more than 0.5% on your first trade. Accumulate some profits and use your own profits as a boost to garner more profits.

Treat the company's money as sacred.

Let your first trade be a winner, don't go hard with big lotsize. If you do and it ends in loss. You'll waste good time trying to dig yourself out instead of reaching target.

The disadvantage of first trade ending in loss is psychological as loss begets more loss and some try to increase lotsize which begets more loss until the dreaded message drops into inbox.

NB: The 0.5% should equate to 100 pips stop loss. No room for scalping. Target mostly high probability trades that can generate 100 - 600 pips and you'll be fine.
Choose your instrument(pairs) carefully. If possible trade only 1 or 2 pairs. Less is more because the more the number of pairs you choose, the higher the chances of losing money.

Some people may disagree with me and choose argument but this is my personal viewpoint.

This would be likely if gold price opens close to 2005 or above it at market open by 11pm tonight. A clear breakout above 2010 will reinforce the BULLS.

If market opens around 2002 or lower it means BEARS are still lurking around. Best to exit open buy positions.
As at now I am not happy how the market closed so I won't have any issue closing buy order if I'm not convinced.
Even if market rallies up heavily after I close it, no problem.
