Oga Bidexii this is the most powerful chopper in NAF inventory to date. It has 3 engines, can carry 25 fully kitted troops in sitting position and about 50 in standing position. That's massive

I remember when Amosu and Badeh bought the new AW-101s, it was shocking, especially at a time NAF needed additional transport helicopters. Those men were complete bad news for the Air Force, especially Badeh. Everything he did, touched or said was a complete disaster. He was an error.

I tell you if Bade was still the CDS he will be using the gifted PAF choppers as his uber!

The NAF his doing a lot developing indigenous technology by partnering with foreign companies, like wise the navy. The NN of recent signed a MOU with the Indian navy on technology transfer on building ships, which I believe in recent will see development in recent ships that are to be built in nigeria.

My question is why is the army lacking behind.....?

@Fynline i see you can't be a good intelligence officer ,look at the several antennas on top of that armoured Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) ,that gentleman who boards the CVR(T) is being guarded by a soldier whose very alert.he is a high ranking officer ,who later we see issuing instructions to other soldiers.that another reason thats a FV105 Sultan
a FV104 Samaritan is an ambulance ambulance version of the CVR(T).why would a senior ranking Nigerian officer in command of a battalion be travelling by a CVR(T) ambulance version !

This is very bad

How come there was no air support from either of Nigeria, Chad or the host country?

The base was scarcely defended. If HESCO barriers were too costly, digging a trench round the base would have cost only manual labour and thus delay the gun trucks.

This attack just proves that MNJTF has a lot to improve on with regards to coordination

However, the fact that BHT has not been able to stage this kind of attack and succeed in Nigeria for a very long time now shows how far we have come. Kudos to NA.
