A friend who went to Diamond bank to pay the amount of #20000 ( twenty thousand naira) the state govt taxed Ariaria international market traders (per shop) for construction of faulks road got disappointed when he discovered there isn't an account number to pay in the money but the govt announced you can pay in any bank.

Does that sound possible?

But sincerely speaking it is happening in Ariaria market with people paying out of fear of NDI NGWA

Rumors are still around the market that govt wants to relocate the market hence the gullible rush to the banks to pay this amount

The recently flagged off faulks road was just a political jamboree

No shovel not to talk of caterpillars has been seen along the road while the road deteriotes.

I doubt if there is a road as bad as that road in Nigeria and this same road leads to an international market.

Ariaria international market is the biggest market in the southeast with made in Aba goods competing favorably with imported ones yet the road is impassable.

As for me i believe anything from Sahara. I'm sure mrgovtari will be disappointed in buratai right now.
The problem with your likes is that you refuse to understand that you are been scammed by Buhari and the APC in the name of fighting corruption.

Buhari lacks the capacity to fight corruption in the present world using 1984 methods that's why I still tell people that the level of corruption in his govt might be greater that of Abacha or how can a man without a certificate hire a dosen of SANs to defend him, in civilized countries will he ever try contest a LG election talk more of presidential election.this alone disqualified him on moral grounds to vie for the president of this Zoo called Nigeria.
If a president can forge a certificate, tell me if its money he can't steal, so pls don't tell me Buhari must be disappointed in Buratai because they knew before they came to power,Buratai was one of the agents of destabilization in Gejs govt, he and many others from the NE was used by the northern cabal to make sure many of you see Gej as ineffective, now they are power you see they are all criminals and career politicians

I disagree with you sir! Destroying the economic lifeline of the country is not the only option left for the common man. As a matter of fact only a fool does that. At a time of crude technology and at a time considered pre-historic, mankind came together to pool their resources towards building a city and setting in its midst a tower that stretches into the heavens, the Bible documents that the feat this group of persons wanted to achieve was so daunting that it got God's attention...How did the Americans, the Britons, the Russians (after the end of the USSR) and recently China all make it to where they are today? They made it there through honest, selfless and collaborative effort...However the average Nigeria would rather enrich himself at the expense of the entire country.

A Niger Delta Governor labelled his own people lazy. He noted that his people instead of working hard at their jobs would rather trade the job to people of other tribes in exchange for a fraction of the salary (source: http://allafrica.com/stories/200812190067.html).

Youths keep saying, no capital, no capital, no capital but they fail to realize that if 40 people committed to starting a business can contribute 2000 naira per month they would have raised 1.44 million naira in 1 year and 6 months to start a business that would in years to come provide an escape route out of poverty...

So sir, I disagree with you! It flies in the face of common sense to destroy national assets to air your grievances - particularly when those grievances include discontinuing the investigation of corrupt persons from a section of the country.
in a united country it's insane for one to destroy the country's source of income but in Nigeria where some people seems to be 5%/and others 97% militancy becomes the last hope of the common Man's voice been heard.
Nigeria is a very unique country that you don't even try using Britain, Russia USA and China as a case study when discussing Nigeria. Why did Buhari chose to be petroleum minister? Who will probe him if there is alleged corruption since he has immunity, Why has the political class chose not to restructure the country since the present system is not working, The answer to this questions is oil, every leader including Buhari is only interested in oil and not the wellbeing of the common man.OBJ and Atiku after 8 years built universities, farms, high schools for themselves, they even own oil wells but what did they do for the host communities of this oil,how many universities did OBJ and co establish in the Creeks? Rather the one established by Gej has been cancelled by Buhari and co citing corruption forgetting that the owners of land has to be paid, their cash crops and their structures in these land the govt has to pay for it,and the govt is even paying for it with revenue from oil sourced from their communities, how has that become a crime?
I was born in burutu,I grew up in the shanties with oil covering the waters,it has been like this for more than 40 yrs and all this while we have been telling this same stories, you don't live in the creeks, you won't understand, Nigeria is not working and won't work unless we do a drastic change in the structure and other aspects will follow. My father used to discuss this issues with my uncles many years back and am still discussing this same issues with my brothers in front of our kids,is that progress?

Do you think capital is the most important factor of production? I don't think so, give these youths an enabling environment and their business will thrive, but all we are getting from this govt is unfavorable policies which discourages business and in most times the govt of Buhari lacks policy direction
Do you know how many youths that has been out of business in the last one year?
Do you know how many that has been drawn back to the low class after struggling to enter the middle class in the last one year?
Do you know how many children that has been out of school in the last one year just because the parents is struggling to afford 3 meals daily talk more of school fees.

The people are sad and the president is not helping matters ,look at how calm the polty was when osibanjo was on acting capacity only for him to come back and every where is on fire

I think we are beginning to see the difference between a prof and an illiterate.

The maturity displayed by PDP senators by supporting the FG is been abused by buhari led FG hence nobody should blame the PDP for this decision. PDP senators have shown enough patriotism in supporting buhari notwithstanding many of his shortcomings.

The certificate saga
Budget saga
Shite massacre
Aba massacre
Harlibuton scandal
Fulani herdesmen
CBN gate
FIRS gate
Unremitted funds from NNPC since buhari s regime etc
These are issues PDP senators needs to address well thereby putting more pressure on buhari

The government has not done enough, granted! But why do we cause more havoc? Violence is not the way. Scoring own goals is not the way.

We can dialogue, involve international groups and other nations, cause civil disobedience, protest, etc but never violence or self destruction. Look at the American Civil rights movement and learn a lesson or two from there.

Were they elected by the masses? The answer is No in most circumstance. Most of this leaders are products of the military generals, they are answerable to their masters and not the masses.

The only option left for the common man is to destroy the economic lifeline of the country because you dare not protest for the army will use you for shooting practice.

From comments above it is clear that Nigeria is already been divided by the antics of the buhari led federal govt.

On one side is intelligence and exposed ones that knows this govt is taking us back to 1999 thereby killing the progress we've made Democratically, trying to make the country a one party state by silencing all opposition using govt agencies, arresting and intimidating key opposition voices without trial, killing the people it swore to protect at ease.

On the other side are the ones happy with whatever this govt does, this class are the less educated and the almajiri -like ones that sees buhari as God.

This is one of the effects of putting the wrong people in power,I used that Airport and others like the one in enugwu and the MM2 and I can tell you authoritatively that these airports had a face lift during Odua's regime, the toilets were refurnished, there was total remodeling of all of them and even new terminals were been constructed,on ma way to China on one trip after seeing the pace with which the new terminal at MM2 is been constructed by CCECC, I got to Guangzhou airport only to discover the same CCECC is constructing a new terminal reminiscent of the one in Nigeria but out of hatred we stupidly chased the best govt we had out and we are seeing the effects, last time I used the owerri airport it was horrible, the toilets are filled with shit and smelling,i asked and they said the workers have not been paid for 8 months and the tips we offer them are not forthcoming because of the economic hardship in the country, even the mm2 is now a shadow of itself, talk to the employees and they will tell you how bad things have turned in this airports. The little maintenance culture instilled by the last administration has been killed by this administration

Odua still remains the best Aviation minister we had

Her legacies are been allowed to detoriate by the present politicians in this govt who lack ideas in public administration, they are only good in making noise and deceiving the gullible youths that depends on this forum for information, how I wish many of you are privileged to have travelled through this airports constantly for the past 5 years you would've understood better but most of you here hardly leave your states yet you will want to cast the first stone on the past govt.

Atiku owns Intel an oil firm, own universities and other schools even hotels for just been vice president while Gej has none of the above

OBJ has oil wells, has ota farm, universities, library and what have you yet he will come out and tell us Gej is corrupt and reasonable people believed them

Even Amechi is known to be far more richer than Gej yet he was preaching around the country tell gullible ones how corrupt Gej was.

Africans are backward in progressive thinking. It's worse with most African leaders.

This is a very disturbing scenario we're witnessing in Nigeria.

Including President GEJ, What did the leaders do with the humongous allocations that came their way during the windfall period of 2011-2014? Instead of improving savings and reducing debts with the surplus, they all defied common logic and natural occurrence to reduce savings and increase debts!

Many of them have perfected the art of wasteful spending but have not developed any strategy for revenue generation and wealth creation.

The absurd thing is many of them ran their private businesses successfully before becoming governors but as soon as they became governor, their head became empty, unable to proffer solutions to problems bedeviling their state. A typical example was Ladoja and Ajimobi of Oyo state.

Shame on these leaders indeed!
Gej and his team will always exonerate themselves when the time comes. I am saying this because I can remember vividly when Okonjo Iwela the then coordinating minister was begging States to save and allow the FG save also for the rainy days, instead of heeding to the advice the then Nigerian Governors forum headed by Amechi insisted that the money should be shared, taking the FG as far as the supreme court using the cronies in House of reps.
It is important to note that apart from Anambra State with Peter Obi( a good economist from Harvard) as the governor was the only state that saved and even invested some state resources in micro chip companies, others including our present leaders were busy with politics, had no policy direction.now the rainy days are around and only Anambra state is increasing workers salary when others can't even pay salaries.
It is important we check the educational background of people we vote in power,Nigeria is suffering because of always choosing the wrong people with leadership, people with a poor or no educational background
Amechi made a pass in English, buhari never did wassce, the list goes on and on,How on earth can we depend on this set of people for leadership failure?+

Please stop deceiving people with your ignorance. Putting on earphones at meetings like U.N. summits can't make you deaf, you're listening to speech there not loud music. The decibels involved are much different besides how many hours in a year is he involved in such meetings
doctors discovered his ear veins are dead because of old age meaning he was hearing small small ,
Then he started traveling that time like the Nigerian poster boy using earphones that will have to first translate to English or French before Hausa because President Buhari don't understand English very well hence hausa, too much earphones now killed the few cells in his ear hence he hardly hears,
Sometimes he will hear 3 times, two times a day but if the ear vex no hearing
