Do not insult Ibadan women, they might sound/look razz but they have honor and pride in not having their names smeared in thievery.

do you know I will be the happiest man the day Buhari seizes to be the president because I don't believe anything good can come from an old illiterate

Can't you see how arrogant he has become since he was sworn in,disobeying court orders, and sending army to kill at ease

A certificate less man becoming the president just because he's from the north, is that not the highest level of corruption?

Give an illiterate money and power and see how arrogant he becomes, that's the problem with buhari,is either you sing his praise or your jailed,is that not corruption

Going through the comments shows there's a big shift from comments Post election, we are beginning to realize we made the highest mistake of this century.

Out of over expectation we shot ourselves in the foot, voted an old dying illiterate to oversee the affairs of more than 200 million people.

I don't blame the north because they have a large number if almajiris

The Yoruba's are the worst culprit here, how can they with their sophistication chose mediocrity over Transformation.

If only Nigeria can survive this.

I still don't understand what Abia state did to deserve the kind of treatment from their leaders.
Why has God chosen to curse Abia with bad leaders?
What did they do?

Is it because of the innocent souls murdered during the era of bakassi boys or the human sacrifices during OUK regime!

I went to Aba today for business at Ariaria market only to discover that faulks road which leads to Ariaria int MKT has been divided into two.

I grew up in Aba with this road this bad,I can remember my mum always coming home with bruises after falling inside the gutters while coming back home from market each time it rains.

More than 30yrs after this particular portion of the road is getting worst.

God will punish all leaders (past and present) of Abia especially the present one who is young but has chosen the propaganda style of governance of his predecessors.

Abia is abundantly blessed But has always been in the hands or wrong men.

This is faulks road today

We that voted for transformation has passed this stage and planning for a massive protest for Buhari to show his certificate, that's the only way to sack him b4 2019

Meanwhile if locally produced toothpick is not enoughenough for local consumption I don't see it as a crime to import the commodity, even the toothpick I used after eating at a restaurant in Rome was made in China

The way Buhari has been lamenting on the importation of toothpick every time he grants interview in and outside the country bores me.

Politics / Re: What We Need Is A Sovereign State, Not Pipeline Contracts – Militants by Fyno: 4:44pm On May 27, 2016
Keneking:
Ok

What is a sovereign state?

- In international law, a sovereign state is a nonphysical juridical entity that is represented by one centralized government that has sovereignty over a geographic area.

-International law defines sovereign states as having a permanent population, defined territory, one government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other sovereign states.

-It is also normally understood that a sovereign state is neither dependent on nor subjected to any other power or state.

Issues:

- They want to install their people and control our natural resources. E.g Jonathan would be their Prime Minister or President
- MNC's would be paying them taxes and royalties, there would be lots of cash available to them.
- They would still not be richer. Their predicaments would not improve. Even pollution would increase thereby degrading their natural sources of livelihood.
- Issues of legitimacy would arise and the Western powers would do the needful.
- Nigeria and its Army would deal with them accordingly in line with global practise.
- Rise in militancy is expected in the region various groups would emerge for example Bini's, Efik, Esan, Ibibio, Igbo, Annang, Oron, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Yoruba, Isoko, Urhobo, Ukwuani, Kalabari and Ogoni would join the fray.
- Economically, our Naira would still be a unifying currency for Nigeria and the so called sovereign state.
- My brothers from the South East would be divided along the lines of joining or remaining in one Nigeria

What nonsense embarassed embarassed
Jonathan sef cry

see your life?

alt3r3g0:

This is where you are getting it wrong. The buck does not stop with the president. We have federal, state and local government. Even senators collect constituency allowance. At the end of the day when they do nothing, we are decieved to think its the Presidents fault. Thats why street light is not in the creek, they call PMB, drainage is blocked, PMB. No one asks what the local and state governent are doing with all the funds collected. They have been deceived that the buck stops with the President.

In what way has the President shown he wants everything for him self? Incase you have a short memory. Obasanjo monopolised fuel importation, same with Abacha. Not only did they not repair the refineries, they monopolized importation and collected all subsidy involved. When Obj was leaving, he sold the refineries to himself like Ota farm but this sale was reversed by Yaradua.

Gej came, and took subsidy to a whole new level. Free for all chopping with turn around maintenance that never ended. No new refinery was even started during his time.

Pmb on the other hand. Has focused on our refineries working. So that less will be imported and more money for his plan to move nigeria forward. The militants have repeatedly sabotaged the lines feeding this refinery. New contracts have been signed to build new ones that would be completed before 2019. All this at a period when the value of our currency has fallen. Imagine if these were done during the years of boom. Corruption is a war that must be fought and won. Look at how people embezzled funds meant to the fight against boko haram at the expense of human lives. Do you know how many soldiers lost live because of being ill equiped. There were videos of beheading or armed forces members. Yet a private jet with 9 million dollars was being seized by South Africa. The govt shamlessly came out to defend it as miscommunication between Sa authorities. With all these you still think corruption is not an issue.

With the one year so far, i think PMB's major crime is coming from the north...because you will agree with me that his efforts so far: repair and expand refineries, fight corruption, reduce waste with TSA, clean up Niger Delta, Zero based budget etc...are all a step in the right direction.
my brother when I said decision making is centralized am referring to this present govt where it is allege that Pmb decides everything, this is unlike the previous govt where responsibility and authority is given to appointees of the govt.

When you talk about the structure of govt when we are discussing executive issues goes a long way in exposing the deficiencies in our educational system.

Then look at your self again when you talk about OBJ and Abacha monopolising oil importation and your analysis about subsidy and about OBJ selling the refineries to himself and Pmb working to fix the refineries shows you have a very shallow understanding of how the country has been working, maybe you need to read harder then come back let's argue cos am tired of educating you because you are not making sence.

DropShot:

We saw this coming. It's not a news any longer since the only commodity that made us grow on paper has lost more than 60% of its values without us saving for these rainy days.

PMB technically inherited a bleeding economy; an economy effectively in recession.

we knew it was there before pmb came but its like taking a dying patient to an emergency unit and the doctor insist you must pay for card and deposit a certain amount before he attends to the patient.
What was Pa Bubu doing that it took him 6 months to constitute his cabinet, a whole 6 months without leadership in an economy heading towards recession, what miracle do you expect?
And the worst part is that all we have as ministers are career politicians whose only work has been to keep praising the president as the best Nigeria has ever had with nothing on ground to show for it.
Politics / Re: Fuel Price Hike Is Unjustified –david West by Fyno: 10:20am On May 21, 2016
This is why we should not make the mistake of voting this grandpas again if we survive this one,we don't even need to listen to them because they still think this is 1984. If you had listened to this Old prof post election you will believe this govt had the magic wand but its becoming obvious that Pmb met a strange dynamic govt and he's just clueless,he doesn't have it and will never have it considering his age.
The manner in which they are implementing policies shows the lack plan, they are doing everything at the same time. You ban forex, remove subsidy, putting more pressure on the already devalued naira and expecting the price of commodites to crash, how?
The additional demand for dollars will adversely affect the naira which will increase the prices of commodities including fuel.

Then comes the sincerity of Pmb and the charges outlined by prof, who is charging who? The massas paying for the fuel and and still paying govt
