I am even being lenient. If you see jaga9ja post where he clarifies that the bread and tea is bad regardless of the age. The bad thing about this combo is you will not know the effect and damage it is doing to your body till you get to around 45 or 50 years of age. Once you get to those age or you are close to it like I am, you will not need to be advised to stop it. You will stop it on your own when you see the dangerous effects it is having among your friends. Tears and deaths that it cause on families. You will seriously not need any advice to stop it.

I am not a doctor but it happen to be a family disease we have been battling for years that it's almost normal to me. More than 10 of us are doctors in the family ( extended family). I responded to your original message then because something sad happened to one of my family member. She didn't take the regular test serious and lost a leg after being infected by gangerine that led to sepsis. Don't joke with your health when your sugar level is high. Especially when you have any injury. Also be sure your infections (infections that we usually call malaria and typhoid) are cured when you treat it because I think( I'm not sure of this) if your sugar is high the drugs for curing these infections don't work as expected.

Twinskenny all foods are good. It is the combination that is the problem. For example, avoid eating only bread and tea. This will spike your sugar level instead eat bread(brown bread) and beans and either cocumber or cabbage. When eating rice, stop the regular rice and meat ( if you do that). Instead divide your plate into four, 1/4 of it should be rice, 1/4 should be beans and 1/2 should be vegetables. This is pretty much how most of your meal will look like. It's just slight adjustment.

One thing you should know that is very important, once you add vegetable (eg cocumber, cabbage, etc) to your diet, even if it is having a high GL, the vegetable will reduce the GL drastically. That is why it is advisable to always add vegetable to all your meal. Also add things like fish and boiled eggs. Try to reduce things that have to do with oil. Eg fried egg, akara, anything fried. My defense can become very easy if I claim I thought she was an adult because she was in the institution meant for adults.

That your claim of being genius is ridiculous to say the least. I've spent 25 years in the education sector and I can tell you, I've not seen a single genius in Nigeria. I have seen intelligent people though. Not every intelligent person is a genius. In education genius are categorised as kids with special needs and if that is the case, there is already provision for that. This law does not disturb that. This law is setting a baseline to enter the university. If you are in the special category, you should have documents to back it up, not just saying my mum told me I'm a genius.

What you said is not only perfectly in order but also the existing law. The minister is just playing with Nigerians if he made that statement. I just checked and the existing Policy on Education remains the same. Whoever is telling them that the age has been reduced is just making a mockery of the intelligence of Nigerians. The age for entering higher institutions remains 18.

That is nonsense. The minister, as it stands today cannot reverse that policy. Anybody telling you otherwise is just deceiving you. Nigeria is a corrupt country so even with the existing policy, it will be possible for a kid of twelve years old to be in the university. However, do yourself a favour and pick the recent "National Policy on Education" to check if the age has been reversed. No age has been reversed, so any school that choose to implement that law cannot be faulted. The government can choose to ignore the offence when committed if they like but as it stands. The law is the law.

The thing many Nigerians don't even know is that the law was not even made in this administration but in Obasanjo's administration. What this administration wanted to do is enforce it.

Oga there are IT jobs and most pay you remotely in dollars. For example Front-end programming can pay you up to 4000usd per month. There are other IT jobs UI/UX, full stack programming, virtual assistant, cyber-security and a host of others.

Have you seen where the US marine conduct their training? I have a cousin that couldn't complete the training, maybe you should hear from them then you will know that we are even joking here. Did you know that what we know today as terrorism or suicide mission was a form of military training given to a group of people when they were loosing the battle? Military training is intense everywhere. It is not meant for the faint hearted. The reason for people not joining has nothing to do with the training. Even in IT sector particularly programming is also not easy. There is no easy job anywhere. If it was easy, you won't be paid for it. The military hierarchy in Nigeria is so bastardised that people prefer joining the local vigilante than being a recruit in the army or police.

Military training is tough everywhere regardless of the country. Infact compared to the USA, Nigeria military training is a joke. The big reason people no longer join and I think they know but this report systematically wants to avoid it. Is that the military is not looking for staffs but slaves. Who want to be a slave? The job is no longer a career. When you graduate from the University, you are told in clear terms that the military is not for you. The only people that can join the military with a university degree are the elite or those that can pay the huge bribe required. The result is that the elite are at the top cadre. So what they are looking for now is the recruit. In a state that have a high literacy rate, you expect to find people who will be happy to join the recruit of police or army after spending their money on education. Another reason is that no reasonable Nigerian from the south today will be happy to be working alongside Boko haram members since the military usually convert Boko haram to its members. Let them continue damaging their institution and then be pretending they don't know the reason. I think last year or so this was also an issue in Edo State during the police recruitment as no one purchased forms. They had to extend the date twice.
