No matter how it turns out, you will be implicated. What you need to do now is to give yourself a fighting chance. Meet you account officer and block your account. When they come tell them your account is flagged that you are trying to rectify it with the bank. Report to the police and based on the level of trust you have in the said officers, you can get them arrested. If not leave them but let the police know, it will save you in future if there are issues. Your account officer will advice you accordingly but if you don't have issues in 3-5days time then all is well. |

Standstrong: I'm not sure you understood the job description before picking it up. How can you say you are doing your job diligently and the same time leave your duty post. It doesn't make sense. You were not trained before getting the job. I once worked as a security man to a popular bishop in Edo State. The man really liked me because of how I took the job seriously. The day I left the job, the second day I drove to the premises in my father's clean car and they were shocked I was from a decent family. They probably thought I was hungry. Learn from this experience. You were wrong 100%. If I were your oga I will not pay the 3 weeks because I will claim you had probably been leaving your duty post for other side hustle. 8 Likes |

HelpMeee: Stop quoting me if you want to say nonsense. I repeat myself for people to hear. You cannot learn full stack in 7 days. Don't be bamboozled with rubbish talk of learning and mastering. You can't learn HTML in seven days not to talk of combining it with CSS and JavaScript. Who do you think you're quoting. Do you think we are babies here? |

illicit: This is a misconception. At best it can be said to be false. What should be said is that older chickens are sweeter than younger ones. Chickens at home tends to stay for years before the owner kills it while those in poultry stays for a period of 3months before they are killed |

Education / Re: How Private School Owners In Nigeria Deprive Their Teachers Of Rest by gaddafe(m): 8:02pm On Aug 29, 2023 |
mayor1814: I don't think this is the same in every state because here in Benin city, it is difficult to get a teacher talk more of using them anyhow. So using them anyhow is out of the question. You disrespect them they leave. If you want to teach, do part time teaching. The holiday lesson is requested by the parents not the school. This issue has been overflogged here on Nairaland. Most parents that go to work don't feel comfortable leaving the kids either with the uncles at home or let the kids roaming in the area so they opt for holiday lesson. In business, when there is a demand, there will be supply. 2 Likes |

jumper524: Please don't even go there. The man is a useless governor. During the last state election, they were sharing different cash in government house. I would have want him as a person to state what he has done to reduce unemployment in the state. If his answer is none. Then let's evaluate what he has done to create more unemployment. As I'm writing this the man is considering shutting down some more private businesses around the state. The only businesses that thrive in the state are those owned by himself, Shuaibu, igbinedion and co. 1 Like |

Naijaboy18: Actually the questions he asked you are relevant. Just say you don't know the answer. So let me help you: ECOWAS has not done anything to unite Africa infact the reverse is the case. The intention to declare war in Niger has splitted the various African countries, making them take sides. Africa is about to fight itself. Who does that? If ECOWAS care anything about Africa, they will call off the stupid idea immediately. |

layuns: You see that bolded part... Whoever told you that was saying rubbish. I studied Education and with my years of experience I can tell you there is a reason curriculum developers don't advise you spend above 45 mins. And that 45 mins is the maximum number you should spend for a lecture as the human mind will need time to digest information and can start going into fatigue if it's extended beyond that. Also that 45 mins is with the assumption that some lectures will be interactive not a one way class. An interactive lecture is a class like English language where the teacher will say a word and the student will repeat or in a maths class or computer class etc. A one way class is one adopted in the church or mosque where the leader or preacher teaches. where the audience is not expected to ask questions or they reserve their questions for later. In such a class, the best timing for a quality lecture is 15 - 30 mins. Anything beyond that, people get tired and some might even leave or walk out. |

It should be noted however that only those that read to understand can undertake the fire brigade approach reading. |

I have stayed with the Yoruba for more than twenty years and have stayed with the Igbo for five years. The Yorubas are more tribalistic. It's not even a topic for debate.
