I saw this thread earlier but refuse to comment because I feel it doesn't worth it. But I decided to come back here and give my response because I know that few years from now people might now start taking such narrative as the truth. Now I want to let the op know that if he has a short memory, Nigerians don't. The reason sowore came out to join the protest was not because he believed in it. He has already previously before then been having a running battle with the Nigerian government and the DSS for various allegations. He wanted to use that protest to spite the government and turn it to his #revolutionNow that he had been fighting for. The organisers of the EndSARS saw this loop hole and they refused him from joining the protest. The video of how Sowore was chased out from EndSARS protest is on YouTube anyone can see it. If Sowore had been allowed to join the protest he would have made himself the leader, which the people did not want as at that time. Nigerians and the EndSARS organisers have tried and should be given some credit not this nonsense thread. Tomorrow is election, if you know what's good for you vote for LP. |
SmartPolician:Before you quoted what I said as false. Did you even bother to give it a thought? If you get a news and you verify from the right body and the process of verifying was easy would you bother spreading it? How easy is it to get official information from a body like the NCC,CBN or Aso rock when you are a nobody? They only respond when their organisation is being rubbished in the media. If the process of verifying fake news is easy, people will be more careful of the news they spread as they will find out most information on our space are false. It will also make it easy to quickly detect those that directly distort these information. A case in point is when Simon Ekpa was arrested. It was very easy for we here in Nigeria to verify from the Finland authority if the News was fake or real. Can you say same for Nigeria? |
SmartPolician:The real reason for fake news is because official information is usually hard to obtain from corporate bodies in Nigeria. |
Axis313:My brother, Dem don kill the business like that. I thank God I have other businesses. That is how I would have just been rendered jobless. This is the second time I would open a business that is destroyed by government policy. This was the reason I was reluctant last year to open a Poultry with. I just started processing my papers to leave the country. I pray Peter Obi wins. |
This is really funny |
Two things I see wrong here is 1. The boy in the first picture was just left alone without any girl to cater for his sexual desire. 2. They didn't add or show the kids a picture of the penis sliding inside the vulval to explicitly show the kids how it's done and the right hole to insert it. Other than that everything is OK. Whether in Nigeria or elsewhere. However you are free to use any technique in bringing up your kids |
If you have any friend that is a police man. Contact him. although they will only allow you use Dane guns |
Queendera:The charges are ridiculous like I said. In my case, what I see for every transaction whether debit or credit is three to four different charges. They are electronic transfer levy, vat, electronic something ( I can't remember this again). This is what occurs in my GT bank and Polaris. I remembered I complained of this to GT but I didn't get a reply. How can one receive all these charges for electronic transfer and we say we are encouraging cashless policy. Meanwhile if I carry out the same transactions physically at the bank, I would not be charged. |
It is electronic transfer levy . These charges are ridiculous if you ask me. |
LegendHero:Na election day you go know the impact of the noise |
famology:This is exactly what I was about saying. It is only a foolish minister that will wait to be sacked. They will all write their handover notes and leave office. No time for nonsense |
destiny4luv:Did I read it correctly or am I going blind? You are asking how the average man on the street go take survive... ? Bro, you are not an average man. An average Nigerian don't eat in eateries. You carry bro |
fortunateme:The legal means to which? Is it for governors removing local government chairmen or president removing governors? Which? And which of the two is even legal to begin with? Nigeria is a lawless country and you can do as far as your powers allows you. This is why some of us complain of the structures. Was it not the CCB chairman that slapped a security guard and arrested him sometime ago for daring to ask him to park properly. What happened to the CCB chairman and the security? If the president is determined to arrest El Rufai, he will and heaven will not fall. You can go to court and challenge his decision and nothing will come out of it even if the court reverse the decision, the onus will be on the president to obey the judgement. Some of you act like you don't stay in this country |
fortunateme:A sitting governor with immunity can be arrested by the president if he is determined. After all the governors constantly arrest and remove the local government chairman at will even though we know it's not right constitutionally. |
Invest4growth:The guy is talking nonsense as usual. The true situation of things was properly captured in punch newspaper as I witnessed some of the activities that led to the crisis https://punchng.com/naira-crisis-three-feared-dead-at-edo-protest/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1676471452 |
Thewrath:I witnessed this protest. I doubt if it's politically motivated. |
iLoveYouToo:Please keep quiet. Who told you the authorities don't know the location of those with arms. Sheik Gumi has branded many videos with known terrorist and bandits. There was also a video where a bandit was boasting how he killed the Nigerian armies when they attacked them. Did you hear anything about that? Stop coming to NL to form nonsense. The authorities know where the bandits and terrorist resides |
Neddstark:How? What the dude said, is he correct or wrong? The law should not be applied on only some set of individuals. |
l laugh in Swahili. Those that said the POS were the enemy are gradually witnessing the truth. |
annayawchee:So what was their response? |
faceland:They take money for electronic transfer device, VAT and Electronic something (I can't remember this last one) for every transaction before they take the one for end of month |
faceland:Go to your bank and make enquiry. It is usually free |
Kizyte:This is a lie. I can confirm this as I also run a POS business. I know it has happened in some places where one or two persons possess multiple ATM but this is not how POS get their cash. Stop spreading lies. POS get their money from the black market. Infact many POS are currently out of business as we speak. In most areas where you used to have 7 or 12 POS operators you now find out only one or two are operating and in some instances none. How many POS operators you think have that time to start using multiple ATM to queue in the bank? You think that is the only business most operates? When you buy 100k for 15k , how do you expect them to break even? I pray the Edo State task force is effective so you guys will understand what hardship is all about. |
I used all the currency here apart from the pounds. |
So he went there to insult the governor ?? The idiot came to Edo State to dance Buga. I was ashamed when I saw Festus Keyamo and others dancing Buga. They had nothing to campaign with. "All I want to do is dance..." |
PraizHim:You see this Chidoka, he was one of the few GEJ trusted. And for you to see the useless man supporting Atiku today tells of who he really is. I can't imagine anyone who genuinely loved and worked for GEJ supporting Atiku. It is unimaginable. Reno Omokri, Chidoka and a host of others are a disappointment to say the least |
Una think say this man they play. You will soon understand what he means by "...they couldn't even make a down payment for the roasted corn". |
zedegit:They can remove it and nothing will happen. |
cyrusmillz:You are not the only one o. The only one I've touched is the ₦1000. |
lsoul:I am also thinking along this line. Do you know that I'm in Benin city ? And I use the bank almost daily for withdrawal. I have not seen the ₦500 and ₦200 notes with my two eyes, not even in the bank. I only see them on screen (internet and television). |
kettykin:Either way Emefiele will be dealt with seriously. You can bookmark this. If Peter Obi wins he is not equally safe. Intact I can tell you Emefiele right now will be doing everything in his power to prevent Obi from winning. Most of the people sponsoring Obi are people Emefiele had seized their money and falsely accused them of sponsoring terrorism during the endsars saga. His undoing was when he declared for president while still in office. The man is a fool if you ask me. I saw something like this happening to him. The only reason he had been safe is because PMB is someone who does not care about the country. |
gbengaeed:Asian countries are not better than Africa? I thought I was talking to a human. I listed three Asian country there. Can you tell me how many African countries that are better than those I listed? The Japanese currency was once the third strongest currency some few years back. Also if you are a good student of history you will know foreign aid is actually bad and many African countries are already rejecting aid and speaking against it. In case you don't know what you typed, you said if Europe falls.... And I'm telling you if Europe falls we make do of what is available. That is how humans have been surviving for all these millions of years. It is foolishness to think that without Europe we can't exist when we were the ones that even first existed before them according to DNA records. Please if you don't have something sensible to say stop quoting me, I beg you. |
. How is the eateries in ur location is it this expensive?
This is the raw truth, CBN don't have enough of the new notes to give banks yet. They should stop painting it as if it's the banks fault, have you ever thought of this? If the old notes were exchanged for the new ones by CBN to banks why on earth will banks load old notes?
