If you've ever spend money to buy courses online, you'll know they're many scammers involved. Especially in Nigeria.

So I have concluded to never buy these courses again.

1. Affiliate marketing courses
2. Make money online courses
3. Crypto courses

What do you think?

Add mini exportation to the list. That is another bullshit they use in collecting your cash.

If these guys really made the money they claim you can make from reading those books, they wouldn't be selling books.

Career / Re: I Am Approaching 40 And Am Scared My Dreams Are Not Realistic by gaddafe(m): 2:41pm On Apr 28, 2023
greatopec:
Good day Nairalanders
I will be 40 on Oct 19 this year and I am scared the kind of life I have always desired may not be
achievable. Let me list these things that worries me so that you can probably advise me or assist me in achieving any of them.
1) By 40 I had wished I will be living in my house with cars in my garage
Current situation- I am a salary earner who eagerly waits for the salary to drop before my family can eat conveniently every month.
2)I love cars and driving. Was thinking of getting a good car for Uber business.
Current situation- I have not been able to gather enough money to buy a car for Uber or personal use.
3)Seeking greener pasture abroad.
Current situation- I have not been able to have enough disposable income to even get a passport to start with in the first place.
4)Self development. I had interest in programming so I decided to learn coding and all that. I started with free code camp and also this thread by iyenimofe on nairaland has been so helpful https://www.nairaland.com/1383359/learn-web-design-live-nairaland/6#17571611
The issue I have progressing is that of enough data subscription to watch more tutorials.
5)Acquisition of at least Masters.
I have a passion for learning and self development but I struggled to have my HND with distinction. Gathering enough funds to start my masters program has been an uphill task.

Little about my background
I am an HND graduate
I have a sister who am responsible for also.
I have a wife and two kids.
I work 8-5weekdays

Please don't sweat yourself over it. This is the true situation of most people in Nigeria. I'm just a bit different from you. I'm 38 and the only difference I can take from your post is that I have a degree and I already have my passport. That data for learning programming also hindered me from learning it even though I've started. I also have a side hustle. Please don't kill yourself over it. Everyone have what he or she is facing, we can't just kill ourself

Confused set of people.
I said on tweeter that these transgender are suffering from some sort of mental retardation and will need to be corrected in the psychiatric hospital and I was banned. Those guys are stupid to say the least. No matter how long it takes, they will soon realise trans is a mental problem but then they will quickly put the name of the person that discovered that discovery as another white man, meanwhile Africans had always maintained this stance. Just as the first man that told surgeons to always wash their hands while performing operations on pregnant women was killed only for them to realise years later that he was right so will they also realise this their foolish decision

Foreign Affairs / Everything We Have Been Told About the War in Ukraine is a Lie by gaddafe(m): 4:36am On Apr 15, 2023

Sensitive information relevant to ongoing events involving the conflict in Ukraine.

Everything We Have Been Told About the War in Ukraine is a Lie
Following the leak of classified documents exposing the Biden Administration's corrupt lies, the administration and the media are determined to convict the whistleblower.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced on Thursday that the FBI had arrested 21-year-old Air National Guardsmen Jack Teixeira in connection with their investigation into the leak of classified military documents reported last week.

The fact that they already have a suspect in custody for this embarrassing leak is quite telling. They are still “baffled” about who was behind the politically convenient Supreme Court leak regarding the Dobbs decision so many months ago. But the difference between this leak and that other leak is that this one must be about the leaker instead of the content of the leak. And thats because the content of this leak is an exposé of the Biden Administration’s utter incompetence, dishonesty, and corruption.

The documents reportedly contain a host of sensitive information relevant to ongoing events involving the conflict in Ukraine.

According to the New York Times, the documents contain a description of Ukraine’s struggling air defenses and plans for their coming counteroffensive campaign. All of that information could have a significant impact on the dynamics of this war.

Many Americans are skeptical about wether all the money we’ve spent in Ukraine is actually serving our interests. But if the Biden Administration insists on spending billions of taxpayer dollars on this war, they should at least be competent enough to avoid a tactical blunder of such magnitude. And they could’ve avoided it if they weren’t so corrupt and dishonest that a whistleblower felt obligated — as he certainly was — to expose their lies.

We have been told since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine that it is not a proxy war between the United States and Russia. We’ve been told that there are no U.S. forces deployed in the war zone, and we have been told that Ukraine is winning. That is the narrative that has been pushed by the media and our government on repeat for more than a year. But the leaked documents completely shatter that narrative.

The leak revealed that there are U.S. forces deployed in Ukraine. In fact, this was confirmed on Wednesday by John Kirby in an interview with Fox News. This is not only a proxy war between the U.S. and Russia. We are quite literally in the middle of a hot war with Russia. A war which has not been approved by Congress as our laws would require. That makes it a crime.

The documents also reveal that Ukrainian forces are in dire straits. According to the documents, there have been a total of 16,000-17,500 Russian casualties and as many as 71,000 Ukrainian casualties.

General Mark Milley stated publicly in November that Russia had lost well over 100,000 soldiers. And these documents aren’t even old. According to New York Times reporter David Sanger, the documents were mere weeks old at the time of the leak.

Furthermore, just two weeks ago Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made the assertion that Ukraine was winning the war while he was testifying before Congress. That is not true. Ukraine is not winning the war and Austin knew that when he made a claim to the contrary. Lying before Congress is a crime.

And now the administration is asking the media to cover all of this up.

In a recent press conference, John Kirby asked reporters to refrain from reporting on the leak saying, “it has no business, if you don't mind me saying, on the front pages of newspapers or on television. It is not intended for public consumption, and it should not be out there.”

It is the government's job to keep classified documents out of the public eye and it is the job of the press to report information to the public. But the Biden Administration failed — as a result of their own corruption — to keep these documents secret, so they want the press to do it for them. And the press is doing just that.

The mainstream media has focused most of their energy on making this story about the source of the leak rather than the content of the documents. But the content in the documents has turned out to be far more important than the source of the leak. In fact, we should be thanking the source of the leak for providing us with the information we now have.

If the administration wants to argue that the American public doesn't have a right to know that U.S. forces are fighting in Ukraine, they are simply wrong. We certainly do have a right to know that our leaders are waging an illegal war and committing perjury before Congress.

Jack Teixeira simply recognizes that. But unfortunate for him and the rest of the country, it is unlikely that anybody in the Biden Administration will face any consequences for their crimes. The only person who will be going to jail is the whistleblower — for the “crime” of exposing them.

Anytime i am weak, i regain strength by taking some.

And i am starting to believe that it might have some effects on my body system.

Pls what are the side effects?

It contains caffeine and its excessive usage can cause frequent dislocation of some joints in your body. This symptom depends on your body though. Every Individual body varies( I suffered from this). It could also lead to mental disorder that comes and go at various intervals. One of my neighbour suffers from this and the cause was excessive caffeine intake. Some other symptoms are:

Restlessness and shakiness
Insomnia : difficulty to fall asleep which could cause Headaches & Dizziness
Other Symptoms are:
Fast heart rate
Dehydration
Anxiety

Don't take my word for it as I am not a doctor. It was when I suffered some side effect from caffeine intake that made me do a little research on it. It is also possible for you not to suffer any side effect of it is taken in moderation.

If this is the case then this is not only happening in the south east but in most parts of the country. There are a lot of states in the south south and middle belt that also fall under this category

You just carry keyboard begin dey type nonsense. That No 1 is a big lie from Hell. Anybody can easily go to the university in Nigeria and come out with a good grade. You don't need to be intelligent. It is naivety that makes one thinks only intelligent people succeed in school.

If you have money as a guy, you can easily succeed. Most Kegites are cultist, it is true. They are always looking for ways for short cut to success with their exams, hence it is normal for you to see that their group knows a lot of lecturers and how to bribe them. So saying they come out with bad grade is nonsense to say the least. One thing you didn't say, I was hoping you would mention it, is that most Kegites activities are similar to that of a real confraternity

Also you should know Kegites are banned in some institutions. It is not every school that allows it in Nigeria

Na due to this Russia bullying tendencies make all these miniaturized countries dey join NATO.
And Russia has proven them right by invading Ukraine to annex her Territory.

And one thing is certain, on no account would NATO attack Russia first.
So those countries are joining to protect themselves.
But the Truth is that, USA won't take this thing they are doing to Russia.
Taking that Cuban missile crises into account.
USA are hypocrites anyways.

You have not seen a country invade a sovereign country because you sit in your house and listen to filtered news. As we speak Isreal has fired several missiles at Syria's capital. What is the purpose of those attack. I guess they're celebrating Christmas. How did Isreal became a big country today when they went to Palestine as refugees? If they didn't invade, how did they do it? I guess it's the Lord's doing

The Nigerian government has made it worse by not investigating how recruitment is being done in most public organisations... The same set of Nigerians that God miraculously gave a Job after so many struggles will be the same person to be selling Job slots in govt agency to other fellow Nigerians. I saw a guy post on nairaland about anyone interested in Junior Cadres of NDLEA.. He is apparently a staff in the agency and he want to sell other peoples slot for money... This means people who are competent will be denied of the job and they will sell it to incompetent ones..

I had to message him on whatsapp and this guy told me I will have to pay 500k cry cry cry cry. 500k for a Waec applicant, so how much will BSc pay? Maybe 1m to 1.5m. Who are these people selling govt jobs to the citizens? Are we supposed to pay for government jobs before we can be employed again...

I had to screenshot his message before he started deleting bcox I told him that he is doing wrong.. Nigerians, what is wrong with us? Why can't we do thing as it should be done? Why do we like taking advantage of people's situations..?

This is the nairalander below

This is to notify most of you applying for govt job, please just forget it.. It is not that you are not qualified, your fellow Nigerians have connided to sell your job to the people that can offer money.... Both senior and junior staffs are in these wicked act.

See screenshot below

I will tell you that even if you have solid evidence against him, nothing might happen. I don't even want to start my story with the Nigerian civil service. If the government can create a good and friendly environment, some of these private institutions will pay better than civil service.
