If you take BBN serious, you are just wasting your time. I only watch BBN when there is no better programme on Gotv. They have been manipulating this show since from the first edition in 2006.

Education › Re: 6 Advantage Of HND Over BSC You Should Know by Gaddafithe2nd(m):
Even though, I don't like comparing the two. You made a good point, but many Polytechnics in Nigeria don't follow the objectives why they were established. Some polytechnics are admitting more than 1000 students for a course like SLT, 500 for computer science and different courses that are practically oriented.

When it comes to awarding scholarships in Nigeria and outside Nigeri, most scholarship boards don't recognise HND holders. It is something I have noticed.
The only thing that is common to Bsc and HND graduates in Nigeria is unemployment.

What is this OP saying? You want to compare University of Lagos, a first generation federal university to a fourth generation Federal university in Ebonyi. For your info, the students of Unilag started the protest in 2012, which I was part of them. If the students of this school aren't happy with the name, they should go to the street and protest.

You just commented poo. The first time I saw Jide Kosoko was in 1996. He was fair in complexion and still maintain is skin colour. Just check his two daughters, Shola and Bidemi you can see how fair they are it shows they took after their father. May be you guys have colour blindness.

OTUNBA JIDE KOSOKO, you have paid your dues in the movie industry and have equally made SOME GOOD MONEY

Now should be the time to retire and give way to the young breed.

OTUNBA JIDE, Now is the time to go home and enjoy a BEFITTING RETIREMENT.

You be OLD SCHOOL

Are you not hearing that BUHARI DON TOO OLD to be considered for the presidency at least for 2019

The Presidency is for guys in the UNDER 50s

The movie industry should not be different.

Movie making is a rigourous and very TASKING JOB. if done too much, he risk SLUMPING TO HIS DEATH.

GO AND EAT THE MONEY YOU HAVE MADE ALL THIS YEARS

I JUST DEY SIT DON LOOK
In Acting there is no age for retirement as long as you are active. Madam Taiwo Ajayi Lycett and Olu Jacobs are in their 70s. The two veterans are doing fine in the movie industry.

The first foreign religion to enter Nssuka is Islam because of her boarder with Kogi state. Do research and stop commenting nonsense.

This is it, you've run out of what to say. Now you've resorted to name calling; "kolomentality".
.
The truth hurts. I have given my honest opinion to the OP like the others gave theirs, but you chose to mention mine because it was laced with the bitter truth of reality.
.
Since you no longer have what to say, you may quit mentioning me now.
What truth are you saying? You spewed rubbish from the beginning of this thread.
Mr. man I know you studied a course that isn't popular in the society, but you use you mouth to debase other discipline. Many people have educated you on this thread, you still proved headstrong as if you know more than the people in that discipline.
If you are proud of the course you studied/studying in school, be proud of it and tell us. Stop beating around the bush.
As for the OP I have told him what to do, it is either he accepts the course or get another Jamb form.

You have artfully ignored your ignorant comment about neocolonialism by presenting a caveat to your early comment; "not everyone would leave the country...". Which means some would leave, so those who leave are suffering from Neocolonialism. Right?

P.S: I am not narcissistic. You my friend, have exhibited all traits of a raging narcissist.
You have been laying emphasis on travelling overseas as if that is the only thing in life. I repeat, If you think leaving the country is the only solution in your life, you are suffering from Neocolonialism (aka kolomentality). Get that into your head.
Lest I forget, you are yet to tell me the course you studied/studying in school. Don't hide it, if you are proud of it.
Education › Re: UNN Gave Me Animal Science by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 10:27am On Jan 28, 2018
Fifthwave:
So practising a noble profession like Medicine or (probably) rendering other services in say the academia in another country other than yours is your definition of neocolonialism?
.
And you want to question my certificate? Yours should be properly investigated.
You are suffering from NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder). Do you skim when reading? Can't you read where I said, "not everyone". This guy you are a shame to your school. What course did you study? Be sincere.
Education › Re: UNN Gave Me Animal Science by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 10:08am On Jan 28, 2018
Fifthwave:
Again, another flawed reasoning. Do you think everyone's career prospect is limited in the Nigerian space?
Are you saying it's a must to practice the said Medicine in Nigeria?

Now whose certificate should be questioned?
You're very swift in making uninformed comparisons and conclusions.
As long as Nigeria is concerned, that is the status quo. For your info, not everyone would leave this country for economic migration/greener pastures.
Get rid of néocolonialism from your brain. Study Medicine and Surgery or anything as long as you aren't making money, your education is a waste. Lastly, don't rubbish any discipline.
Education › Re: UNN Gave Me Animal Science by Gaddafithe2nd(m): 9:44am On Jan 28, 2018
Fifthwave:
First you say, "The course is a nice course." Then you said; "I knew someone that was successful in that discipline." then again; "He bagged a Phd in it."
With these premises, aren't you practically telling the OP; accept it, you will be successful, you can even bag a PhD.

So, was my assumption that you were encouraging him to accept the course from your premises wrong? No.
Now you can stop mentioning me.
You are the one assuming. Yes, Animal Science is a nice course just like any other course if you use your brain. Your certificate needs to be questioned because, you lack deductive reasoning. May I let you know that the guys that earn most in Nigeria aren't doctors, but engineers/IT experts. This is a fact, get that into your thick skull.

Score cheap points? To fetch me money or what?

I see you portray all the features of an undergraduate, graduate, and "over graduate" put together. If your advice is that he go do research on the course, doesn't it pass a message that you're ignorant of the prospects of the course?

I repeat, why would anyone advise someone whose plan was to study Medicine to accept Animal Science?
How are they related?

(Do you see who lack comprehension now?)
Am still telling you to go back and read that comment again, Am not sure you read at all, I wonder how you passed your exams;
" The Course is a nice course. I knew someone that was successful in that discipline. He even bagged Phd in it. Do research about the course, if you don't like it, go get a Jamb form and prepare for the next exam".
That is the first comment where you quoted me. Indicate where I told the OP to accept the course.
Guy you really have a problem. If you can't deduced what I have written, it shows you have a problem and don't quote me if you have nothing reasonable to discuss.

And you think everyone's career path will follow the same trajectory?
Especially someone who's original intent was to study Medicine.

Please how does Animal Science and Med & Surgery relate? From Medical Sciences to Agriculture. Does this show focus?

Some Nairalanders are just wicked in giving advice.
I think you have a problem. The problem is, you don't comprehend. Could you please, go back to page first quoted me, "I told the OP to do research about about the course, if he isn't satisfied he should get another Jamb form and prepare for the exam". You skipped that part, just to score cheap point. Don't tell me you are an undergraduate or a graduate, because you don't even portray to be one.

Meaning the, PhDs, Emeritus and professors in that field are all useless?

That course is a professional course and has better employment opportunities than your useless analysis.
Better read wide and stop wallowing in a self delusion.
You dey mind that mumu. A friend of mine, his dad had Phd in Animal science, he was a consultant, former permanent secretary in ministry of Agriculture in his state and wealthy man. So people just like to rush into comment without reading wide.

OP, do research well about the course. If you don't like the course please, don't mind getting another Jamb form.

Thank God rigging of election is minimal now not like Baba Iyabo's tenure.
