Why are you doing this?

Burial cloths were used in some parts of the ancient world to cover bodies before they were entombed.

The title refers to one very unique and famous such specimen.

Brief History

The Shroud was carried from Christ's tomb by St Peter, to Odessa (in modern Turkey).

It was lost, then rediscovered in 944, and brought to Constantinople (now called Istanbul).

In 1204, knights of the Fourth Crusade sacked Constantinople.

It was brought to France, where Margaret de Charnay transferred it to the Savoy family.

The Shroud was damaged by a fire to the Savoy cathedral in 1532.

The Savoys in 1578 established themselves in Turin, where the shroud remains today.

Facts

- The Shroud contains upon its surface the impression of a male human figure, as though the image

of its ancient occupant is fixed upon the cloth.

- The image is life-sized and detailed, even showing wounds upon the body.

- The photograph of the image yields a negative which actually, is positive.

- Scourge marks on the body correspond exactly with marks left by Roman Army flail called the 'flagrum'.

- The marks do not appear except under UV light, meaning that if it were a forgery, the forger

would have had to paint the marks to be invisible while anticipating UV equipment some 700 years away.

- There are no paint or brush marks upon the Shroud. The images are directionless, meaning that

the entire image was simply fixed upon the cloth.

- The image is made of fibres smaller than a human hair. The picture elements are randomly distributed

like newspaper or magazine images. It would take an incredibly accurate atomic laser to do this.

- There are traces of blood upon the Shroud. Blood highly laced with bilirubin - which would only happen

if the dead man had been very severely beaten before death.

- The image on the Shroud is negative, while the blood marks are positive. The blood has remained red,

undarkened by time and oxidation. This is scientifically unexplainable.

- Dr Max Frei developed the method for placing individuals' locations based on dust and pollen on their

clothes. He has been an international police consultant, as well as scientist. As per his tests, out of 58 types of pollen

present on the Shroud only 17 were native to Europe. The rest were from Palestine and Southern Turkey. In fact,

13 come exclusively from Palestine.

- Images of various flowers (pistacia lentiscus, echinops gallardoti etc.) are captured on the Shroud. All the images show plants that grow

either in Jerusalem, or within 12 miles of it. Whatever Force transferred the body's image to the Shroud did same for objects

wrapped within it.

- Under a VP8 image analyzer, the Shroud is shown to carry 3D images. (Like security marks on banknotes).

- Hebrew practice at the time involved placing coins over the eyes. The Shroud shows a coin image in that location.

The coin has 24 coincidences with the Lepton, a currency issued by Pontius Pilate.

- Blood-flow patterns on the Shroud are consistent with those of a man who spent time with arms in 65 degree

angles from torso. Consistent with crucifixion.

- When a nail is driven into the wrist, the thumb of that hand automatically folds over the palm. This is observed

in the Shroud image.

- The wound in the side of the image corresponds perfectly in size with a Roman spearhead. (In fact, the actual spearhead

to have pierced Christ's side was kept in the Hapsburg House of Treasures, until it was stolen by an Hitler, who thought it

would help him conquer Europe.)


Despite contrary claims, no one has been able to duplicate the Shroud, or describe how it may have been produced.

And they will continue to fail, in denying the authenticity of this, the greatest religious relic of

all time.

Evolution involves the belief in small incremental changes in physiology over billions of years.

i.e. In the case of bats, some rodent ancestor would have experienced gradual shortening

of its forelimbs, and gradual growth of wings over millions of successive generations.

How then would an organ like the eye develop?

The biochemistry of vision is irreducibly complex. When light strikes a photosensitive cell

in an animal eye, it is absorbed by a molecule that alters an attached protein,

which then initiates what biochemists call a “cascade”—a precisely integrated series of molecular reactions—

that in this case causes a nerve impulse to be transmitted to the brain. The result, as interpreted by the brain, is vision.

If any molecule in the cascade is missing or defective, no nerve impulse is transmitted; the person is blind.

Since the light-sensing mechanism does not function at all unless every part is present, it is irreducibly complex (Behe pp 18-21).

This system could not have evolved over billions of years.

It must have appeared complete in every animal birth.

Why this is such a tax on the mental powers of some,

will be fodder for anthropologists of the future.

The bottom line

It's a fact that life cannot exist without proteins.

Proteins are chains of amino acids.

20 amino acids combine to produce all the proteins in the human body.

Due to this fixed number we may calculate the odds of a random short protein
forming within the Evolutionists' mythical primordial soup.

A protein composed of 2 amino acids would have 20 different possibilities for either spot.

Thus, 20² possible combinations along the chain.

A 3-amino acid protein = 20³ = 8000 different possibilities.

The shortest amino acid chain/protein you'll find is about 150 amino acids long.

Thus a total 20¹⁵⁰ possible ways it could randomly form.

Proteins must be assembled in a particular order or will not function.

Thus, the odds of a bunch of amino acids self-organizing in a primordial soup

is 1: 20¹⁵⁰

i.e. In a series of random attempts you would get a functional short protein
once every 20¹⁵⁰ or 10¹⁹⁵ attempts.

Anyone who believes an entire cell could be formed from such a happy series of
coincidences belongs in a straitjacket.

And it is a source of great alarm that so many are actually proud to.

- The same 19 hijackers who were 'devout' enough to sacrifice their lives, were strangely profane enough to indulge in alcohol,
cocaine and strippers. Just a strange coincidence.

- On 9/11 two planes knocked down three bildings(North Tower/Flight 11, South Tower/Flight 175/, Building 7/?).
Another strange[b]coincidence[/b].

- Larry Silverstein, (building 7 owner) signed a 99-year lease for the whole complex, including $3.5 billion insurance cover,
specifically itemizing 'acts of terrorism', just six weeks before the attack. What a lucky coincidence.

- On September 6, 3 150 put potions (sell orders) were placed on United Airlines stock. More than 4 times the daily average.
This could not signal foreknowledge, though. Anyone can see it's only coincidence.

- A pilot (Hani Hanjoor) who couldn't handle a single-engine Cessna, was able to execute an 8000-foot, 270 degree
turn to ram the Pentagon. People get lucky. Sheer coincidence.

- Hani's strike occured one full hour after the WTC attacks. And the most fearsome airforce in the world
couldn't scramble planes to defend its military headquartersone full hour after it was known America was being attacked.
But look, maybe there was a fuel shortage. Unlucky[b]coincidence[/b].

- And also, the Pentagon strike coincidentally destroyed the wing of the building where Budget Office staffers
were trying to solve the mystery of 2.3 trillion dollars Defense Secretary Rumsfeld had announced missing one day earlier (9/10).
Purely coincidentally, of course. Of course.

- Evidence of the hijackers' identities came from their own passports, recovered near the scene of the crime. Luckily,
a fire which melted steel and concrete happened to spare paper. What a fortunate coincidence.

- The administration released an 'official report'. Much was left out. In fact, George Bush and Dick Cheney testified
behind closed doors, off the record, and not under oath. But that doesn't mean a thing, though.
Another harmless coincidence.

- The alleged mastermind, bin Laden, thwarted the world's most effective espionage services for a decade,
and when 'caught' was dumped into the ocean before any agencies could interrogate him or the public even see him.
Mistakes happen. Coincidence.

- And then a chunk of the operatives involved in the capture themselves perished in a helicopter crash soon after.
Couldn't be 'cleaning up loose ends', no, not all. Certainly a coincidence. Obviously a coincidence.
