Put money aside..Some doctors are agent of death.Now take a look at this scenario. Some years back, I and my sister on our way to work , picked up a young man that was a victim of a hit and run ..he was partially conscious at that time but was pleading profusely from the head..when we arrived at the hospital..both nurses and the doctor on duty had this non nonchalant attitude toward the whole scene.There was no sense of urgency from the doctor to quickly attend to the patient, rather he just walked down the stairs like he had nothing to do at the moment..even while we cry and shouted "emergency! emergency"....it took donkey time for the nurse to come out with a stretcher to bring him in and the first the thing the stupid and wicked doctor asked from us was N10,000 for registration/cons if not the young man will not be attended to..While my sister ran to the ATM to get the money for a stranger she does not know, the Doctor on the other hand whose profession is to save life was there looking at me while the young man bleeds to his death...To cut the story short..he was stabilized after we gave the hospital the money ...the young man's family was contacted and was relocated to LUTH..he spent 4 months in LUTH..because he had a head injury and his facial bone shifted...this same boy finally contacted us when got well,to thank us...there we learnt he and his brother are the only surviving children of his parents. He continued call and show his appreciation for a long time until we beg him that it is ok. ...
Money or without money 80% of doctor and nurses in Nigerian hospital are agent of death to the plain poor and vulnerable people but they very nice and good doctors to the rich....their attitude toward poor patient is appalling and dat is what pisses me off.

First of all, the author is sick in his head!
Why didnt he hlp the fellow since he was there and saw that they had no cash?
After the death of the baby he decided to giv him N500. He is a bastard.
Secondly, frm his story, it is obvious the doctor saw the patient and placed on oxygen. If the patient doesnt have money to pay for oxygen, what do u want the doctor to do? Run to oxygen plant and carry the oxygen on his head? It is nt the fault of the doctor that the relatives at that point were nt financially strong enuf to foot the bill which lead to the death of the patient.

“If Nigeria worked for me, I owe it as my duty to make sure that Nigeria also works for you,” he said.

According to Wikipedia, “Atiku Abubakar was born on November 25, 1946 to a Fulani trader and farmer Garba Abubakar, and his second wife, Aisha Kande, in Jada village of Adamawa State.
