mekaprime: V FOR VENDETTA...9/10 GENRE:Action, Drama, Sci-Fi
A well-produced flick, with a powerful script, strong character depictions and the sheer excellence in terms of quality. This flick was amazingly brilliant, it contained a strong socio-political message, centering on issues and concepts that are prevailing in the global political climate of our time. The acting, cinematography, effects, and the general vision of this flick was very very strong, definitely One of the best movies I've seen so far. I still av this movie in my PC, can't delete it. what government will do just to stay in power, even at the detriment of of your basic rights as a citizen. |

Miggs: The critics are on point with their criticisms of season 8 though.I never believed in a million years season 8 of GOT could be worse than season 7 but the shows' producers proved me wrong.Season 8 of GOT is nothing more than a high budget, glossy B-movie.All flash and no substance What is this one saying.

mekaprime: The CGI, special effects is what I'll say went well for the remake, asides that, it was total bull crap & no were near the original. And what level of adventure if I may ask? was there even an adventure in the remake?
The way the story was told in the original was way better than the remake version. The original had a fun, comic-book feel that somehow blends well with the dense espionage story while The remake goes a different route, downing its story in a straight, dramatic swallow. Also, the original was loaded with great mind-frakkin' ideas mixed with over-the-top excitement, humor, and mutants...... mutants that grow out of people's torsos, or the three breasted hooker, all these, made the original a stunning flick to watch. ok sire. |

mekaprime: Better in terms of what??...superior storyline or action scenes?? what really makes it better? those old action movies make me believe every protagonist has to be muscular to play its role perfectly.Colin farell isnt muscular, he use strategy and technique more than strenght, the CGI, VFX, SciFi scene and the level of adventure put into it made it for me. |

Ishilove: Mulholland Drive-
Emmm... I can't remember who recommended this movie but MD put the 'M' in 'mindfvck'. And I don't mean this in a positive way.
This movie has got to be the most confusing flick I've ever watched. The first half made me tense, the second half almost short circuited my brain chips. It is so surreal. I felt like I was in a dream state while watching this fragging film. When the movie ended I ran to Google to try to make sense of what I just watched but almost threw up after reading because the numerous analyses and interpretations made me dizzy and nauseous.
It's very creative but more than confusing than Bobrisky's sexuality.
Speaking of sexuality, all those displaysof lesbian intimacy, sex and rock hard pink _nipples is a huge turn off because I am very straight. What is wrong with these people!!
One interesting thing though is Betty's accent. It reminds me so much of old Hollywood: crisp, clear and cultured. It's an accent that speaks of good breeding and reflects a much saner period in history.
Be that as it may, I give this movie 5/10 for confusing the heck out of me.
I still don't understand Mulholland Drive me too that thing of a movie is confusing as 4uvk. after seeing shutter island and inception i decided to check out mind bending movies online, u should see its rating on imdb and reddit, i guess its one of the most mind bending movies ever, no one can understand it on first watch which make her rating that high. the only curious thing here is, HOW CAN U RATE A MOVIE THAT U DONT UNDERSTAND. u did it out of spite. mulholland drive 9/10 for the level bending in it. |

u are a squeaking rat, a mistake of nature. God created houseflies, coackroaches, maggots, mosquitos, fleas, ticks, slugs, leeches, and intestinal parasites, then he lowered his standards, and made you. monkeys look down on you. Even cockroaches run away from you. u are unreservedly pathetic. u need to trace all your bloodlines and terminate all siblings and cousins in order to cleanse humanity of your polluted genes. The good news, is that no normal human being would ever want to mate with you. even cockroaches don't wanna breed with u. May you choke on your own foolish opinions, you product of a fermented sperrm. kilodeeeeee. all this for one person.

I will be very grateful if you can point out where it was written that watching movies immediately they are released is one of the prerequisite for making paradise. What shall it profit a man like JeromeBlack to watch blockbusters 5-10 years early and still remain foolish?
I used to be more of a TV series fan

mekaprime: HOTEL RWANDA...9/10 GENRE:Biography, Drama, History.
This is by far the only drama that has really moved me so far, I have never been so touched by a bio drama this good before, & nothing i type here now can really show how powerful this movie was or how much it moved me.The acting, directing & cinematography was flawless, Don Cheadle's performance was legendary, hope he got an Oscar for his act in this movie.
In 1994, the UN stood by & watched the Hutu carry out a mass genocide against the Tutsi, killing 500,000- 700,000 thousand people, women & children included...I weep for Africa, what the Westerners are good at is sowing seeds of disunity amongst us here in Africa, & they run back to their comfort zones, while they enjoy the spectacle of us tearing ourselves apart.....Highly recommended. I love that Wyclef theme song. |
