JeromeBlack: Ishilove and her funny reviews. Na colours and costumes you dey review.
However, try not to call Chinese people "chinco". That's racist. I know it is a common slang used by razz people in Nigeria but abroad, it will get you in trouble.
Thank me later

MobileGees: Just finished watching Anna and I'd give it a 6/10
She's like the female version of John Wick, some say she's a better than John Wick while others say she isn't up to John Wick
which brings me to the question who do you guys prefer?
John Wick OR Anna I prefer Anna. it's a better version of girl in the spider Web, red sparrow and atomic blonde combine. Mr jack Bauer has become an immortal as gun wounds, high falls and getting knock down multiple times by car has limited effect on him. As For Anna am giving it 7.5, I don't even know how to rate Mr Bauer(Wick in this case). |

Clubmaster: Hotel Mumbai. So much for a religion of peace I think that not the real message of the movie. the so call bull wasn't doing it for religion reason. those guys thought they were performing jihad but that moment he ordered the elimination of a fellow Muslim, shred that claim. |

after seeing Conjuring 2...8.5/10, this movie scare the zebra stripes into my underwear, 2am in the morning and my whole system was on attention. Believe when I say this, there's a big difference between seeing a Horror movie in the day and in the night. |

so far Conjuring 1 and the exorcist haven't answered these questions so well. the former reason for attack was known while the later wasn't and both had same cure. I should have believe these two but the fact that they were rewrote(even for a true life story), staged and reviewed by the industry to confirm it's content cos they don't wanna stir up unnecessary panic plus promote the church make me think otherwise. that's why when I saw the the Exorcism of Emily rose and her last statement just b4 she died make me think, "AWON CHURCH TUN TI DE O" |

Octopusssy: I don't quite understand what people enjoy in horror movies. Why terrify yourself when you can watch sweet comedies like Game Night? To some, answers while some just wanna get terrified cos they derive fun from it. in my own case, to punch my curiosity, which started while attending a Virgil when I saw people falling under the influence of some sort of demonic force which am sure wasn't stage by the church.for someone who isn't much of a religion person due to the recent exploitation activities practiced by those so called institutions. I had a neighbor once who do such, she'll speak about things out of the ordinary, like how this person is connected to someone in her past and why we shouldn't allow he/she into her vicinity plus other experience which make me wonder, why does it happen to those specific people, what make them vulnerable to those attack. I got answers like they are spiritually inclined, post Partum depression and it's what they choose to believe and stuff. skeleton key was close to this as Kate Hudson was screaming to the top of their lungs saying I CHOOSE NOT TO BELIEVE, yet the ritual was successful and had effect on her. my concern in these movies is not about the scary moment but about how it came to be and how they cure it which I believe cannot be overturned by any scary moment. |

mekaprime: Lolz..How do you expect yourself to have nightmares when you're probably seeing one or two of those movies in a day. Download all of 'em, & on Saturday at exactly 1pm have a horror movie Marathon, try to finish the whole list that day at all cost, after that, you can mention me let's talk. You've seen three movies from that list right. Replace them with the following: The others Anabelle creation The Autopsy of Jane Doe I have seen Autopsy, will surely add the rest to the list. |

talk of horror movie, av seen the exorcist and Conjuring 1 and so far sleep without nightmares, maybe if I was 20yrs younger I might. but seriously that "LET JESUS 4UCK U" was so so disturbing, some might even see it offensive. As for Conjuring, when mama grab the knife to kill her daughter was the most terrifying part for me. so mekaprime am still doing fine with ur list and haven't experienced any breakdown. CONJURING 2 loading.......... |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Galapagous(m): 12:25am On Jun 05, 2019 |
mekaprime: lolz, abeg my brain no carry am. Although i omitted it, but do start with The Exorcist 1973(couldn't go past 30mins), then others, in this following order: The Exorcist(the original, 1973) The Conjuring 1 The Conjuring 2 let me in The ring 2 The grudge 1 The ring 1 grudge 2 ok sir. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Galapagous(m): 9:21pm On Jun 04, 2019 |
mekaprime: Lolz, so you even saw the whole movie, the trailer alone scared the sh.it outta me. The one I saw after much persuasion from here was The Autopsy of Jane Doe. I stopped seeing Horror flicks after i saw The ring 1& 2, The Grudge, Let Me In & The Conjuring 1& 2 (couldn't finish the second Conjuring though) in the same day. I was having a horror marathon that day(those 24 in 1 CDs). The experience really messed me up real bad, i had nightmares for weeks, I was virtually the star cast of my horror nightmares. After that experience, I vowed never to see any Horror flick that has any element of demonic possession or Exorcism. nightmares? is this guy for real?..... OK. which one do I start with? |

Dragged across concrete 6/10. good movie to watch in a slow evening. even though the plot was straight forward, plus the Director's intention of keeping the plot simple, its still a good movie to watch some might even rate it higher. first time am seeing Jai white not playing much of a spotlight role In a movie. |
