tricksters: And you foolishly believed that. Is it the govt at the center that transformed Akwa Ibom or is it the FG to condemned Abia to the stinking rotten state it is now ?
Why many of u no just Wan get sense 4 God sake. You just made a senseless reply, the Akwa Ibom you used as a reference point is not even developed when compared with it's huge mineral resources. Nobody is dissociating the state governors from the underdevelopment of the states but what I am saying is that since we copied the federal system of government from the US, we should also run the system the way they do it over there of which state autonomy is part of it. You can't blame totally blame a state governor for the security failure in his state because he is helpless, even the building of roads is not totally his duty. |

Tribute to a great son of the Odua All through my stay in the Yoruba land, I noticed that one of the major difference between my Igbo brothers and our Western counterparts is our bravery, the case of the Fulani herdsmen taking over lands in the East and chasing the villagers out of their farmlands can never happen in an Eastern village where they are youths. |

He does not understand logic.
My governor has no control over major things that cause development. Those things are controlled by FG. I can't blame my governor yet since he does not control those things.
I used to tell people that in Nigeria, our governors and local govt councilors are ceremonial in nature. They are just enjoying life becus they dont have real executive power. That is why most of them try so hard not to displease the central govt. Even their own security details can be changed overnight. We run a useless system of govt. You are totally right. |
