Those people attacking shoprite will still foolishly recharge their MTN lines and make calls with it and also subscribe to DSTV and GOTV today instead of breaking their Simcards and damaging their DSTV if really they want to boycott SA products....

South Africans are there attacking Nigerians and their businesses and we are here looting Nigeria owned businesses inside shoprite mall amd burning down MTN buildings where Nigerians are working.
Its still a Win Win Situation for South Africa
Una sure say we get sense at all?

Must we behave foolishly like South Africanshuh
Can lack of proper education be the cause of all these in Africahuh
Thugs obviously crafted the stupid protests in order to loot. I tell you, some of them could be worth millions from what they looted

Yujin:
You say your take is that they're trying to save for the future of their children but this is certainly not true. See, the real thing here is simply hate of foreigners coupled with poverty. The area in SAs economy that foreigners dominate is the retail sector. Manufacturing sector is dominated by South Africans mostly the whites and Indians. The skilled jobs sector is still dominated by South Africans mostly the blacks and coloured who work under companies. Few foreigners can be found here because lots of policies are there to preserve these jobs for citizens hence foreigners with skills mostly start their little workshops and build it to bigger volumes making more money than salary earners. Retail trading and smaller services rendering businesses is where foreigners have cashed in big. This is where most South Africans get confused because they think it's not fashionable plus they shy away from facing the resilience required to run and grow such businesses. Now, for foreigners taking their women, it's quite laughable. See an average South African feels no foreigner is entitled to their women. This is certainly not possible except where there's no interaction. Contact brings rapport which in turn grows to intimate relationships especially when money is being spent. A typical South African guy will like you if you declare drinks for him and lots of girls to enjoy themselves but when you demand for one of those girls his countenance will change. There's a particular incident like that where the SA guy lied to a Nigerian that a particular girl was his friend and therefore should be free to entertain them only for the Nigerian guy to spend a lot of money buying drinks and when it was time to go, the SA guy started to torment trouble claiming the girl was his girlfriend and that they were even cohabiting. That was quite annoying so the Nigerian played his own game too by offering to give the girl R2000 if she would follow him. The SA guy started crying. It was a spectacular sight. The girl was willing to follow the Nigerian guy. This is one of such scenarios there. You'll never hear that a foreigner raped any SA girl; why is that? Because everything is done by choice yet they lament. Instances are numerous that can't be exhausted. Deep in their townships, foreigners mostly Somalians and Ethiopians own grocery shops then you ask why they couldn't run it themselves and there's no reason they can give you. Who's to blame for this?
Hmmm.. this is deep

[4/9, 6:49 am] ***: Hmmm.

This is deep!
The reason I am skeptical about trending things. There is always one sided narrative.

Thanks for sharing, it is informative. I have a sibling in South Africa and he tells me things too.
[4/9, 6:50 am] ***: Someone in Capetown also told me they only see the stuffs on TV like us too.
[4/9, 6:51 am] ***: May ALLAAH save us from persuading narrative. And when you raise an alarm, you become the target for attacks.

These are testimonies from where I copied this from, the thing is that, surely they would be some xenophobia involved and some hate in some places, but it's not as we have been believed to see it...

I sincerely urge for caution so as not to blame ourselves later on.. the truth is, informations in the world now have two sides to it, and to get correct information now really is difficult
I don't know why you glorify the OP without asking yourself why the nig and SA governments are not aware of this so called truth but all reactions from every quarter is that the killings are xenophobic.

What about all the videos and tweets by SAs saying they don't want Nigerians because they were stealing their jobs and women and also into crime?

You see my take on all this is that SAs are only trying to save the future of their children by making sure foreigners especially Africans do not exploit their lack of education, a fall out of the apartheid, to hijack their economy. The generation after them would be educated and should still find their country available then.

This is an eye opener for Nigerians to begin demand for good good leadership from their leaders

FG has been told to restrain from phantom probe and engage a negotiator. Is that call meant to conceal the dirty and shady deals between P&ID and their accomplices or conniving agents?Or is it a ploy to make us assume that everything followed due process or is it to give cover to those conniving agents who might be part of the current government?Or is it to cover up the non-challant or perfunctory attitude of the current government toward the unfinished legal proceedings as it was battling or grappling with settling down for governance after the swearing-in in 2015?

And there are people that don’t like losing when it comes to business and that’s why I’m scared of the hedge fund managers that were mentioned. Only God knows who is serving on their board.

Regardless, Turai Yar’adua should be picked up immediately. She has some explaining to do.

But with the kind of person we have as president, I’m afraid these foreigners are going to succeed in pillaging our foreign reserves.

When was the contract rescinded by your clueless president?
Was it not the same government that started the whole thing? Please try to be wise.

This matter has a conspiracy far bigger than you think. If the matter is deeply investigated, I'm sure Diezani madueke will be implicated and gradually, Jonathan will be implicated as well.

Or why in the first instance was Barkindo who was the NNPC GMD under Diezani sacked immediately? And other people after him including Yakubu, who refused to sign her 10billion private jet hire fee.
All these unjustifiable sacks were enforced by Jonathan who was part of the conspiracy.

If not for the scam government, How can a 40million dollar loan rise to 9.6bn? At what interest abeg?

The people backing P&ID are still the same Last administration who are trying to punish this government by suffering our foreign reserve and subject the masses to inflation and extreme poverty

Waste of money.

They travel in an unusual way, that is, locked themselves inside a Van. If it was an open van now, there is possibility of them not being arrest by the Police. Considering the current security situation in the country, their means of transportation is highly suspicious. The Police can argue that in court and the action was carried out in good faith and in accordance with their constitutional duties. On their motorcycle and other belongings not being released by the Police, the question is, do they present satisfactory proofs of ownership and the Police still hold on unto their motorcycles/belongings?

I just pity them, they are carried away by supports from one political party and ethnic group not knowing that those people have history of giving bad lucks to person/course of action they give their support to.

Good luck to them.
And you were making sense till you started fishing for idiots towards the end.

seunmsg:
Why is the company begging for negotiations? Why are they scared of the investigation ordered by the president to unravel all the crimes committed in the process leading to the award of the fraudulent contract?

P&ID should be insisting on the implementation of the judgement they got instead of begging for negotiations. If they got the contract and the judgement fairly, they shouldn’t be scared of the investigation. This new twist goes to show that the Federal government is on the right path. We must subject the dubious contract to media scrutiny and let’s see if it can stand the test of time.

While I encourage government to negotiate with them, the current media scrutiny and investigation must be sustained. We should negotiate from a position of strength and not one of weakness that PDP and GEJ got us into. As it stand, we should not pay anything more than $500 million.
Lol.. media scrutiny noni

P&ID are not in any position to advise Nigeria government on what to do.

The money is gone cos the award of the contracts was fraudulent. Those behind ripping fg are the one issuing statements on behalf of P&ID.

There are same people who claimed P&ID exonerated Gej from the scam contracts even though he was the vice president then.

P&ID had the deals with individuals ( Pdp goons) not with Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Name the PDP goons. Why is buhari shielding the identity of who signed for NNPC?

The same Buhari whom Nigerians blame and accuse of plotting to Islamize the country is the same Buhari whom the Shi'ites blame and accuse of persecuting, maiming, & killing them (his fellow Muslims). Here on Nairaland, we also accuse him.

Buhari is accused of Rugarizing the nation.
The Christians accuse Buhari of Islamizing the Nation.
The Muslims themselves accuse Bubu of fighting and maiming his fellow Muslims.

What are we to believe?

Well, the Octogenarian had told us way back In 2015 that he belongs to everyone and at the same time, belongs to no one.
