Hello...Try not to stress about it....it would be fine. Do you have previous travel history? Did you apply in Lagos?
Thanks for the reassurance.
Yes… I did apply from Lagos, but I'm not so sure my previous travel history counts, I have only been to the UAE (Abu Dhabi).

Please who knows if the SSCE result should be legalized too for Masters studies in Italy? My school only requested that I legalize and translate only my B.Sc. Transcript and Degree Result. And who else is going for the process of legalization, starting from Abuja and then to the embassy in Lagos? Would love to have company. I'm starting mine next week.

I would also appreciate if someone would kindly tell me the requirements for the visa application process at the moment. I've read through the previous posts...dont know if the requirements have changed. Thank you...

Hello Moonshine,
We are in the same position man, but I would probably start mine upper week … trying to sort accomodation in Abuja first.
Kindly reach out.

He did IELTS. what You need for application is your certificate of results, ielts(Yu might be exempted if yu may the schl), Intl passport data page, transcripts. After Yu have been admitted at a schl in italy, then instructions will be given to you abt how to enrol at d embassy. Yu legalise your results after being admitted by at schl at italy. Legalization is done at lagos for 110k and I heard its 55k at abuja. Incase you see any schl that has started admission for 2015/2016 intake, let us know here.
Hello Soyedele,
I am looking to legalize just my certificate. How true is it about legalization costing 55k in abuja as against 110k in lagos.

Hello house,
I would like to enquire if it's only at Abuja's ministry of education and foreign affairs that one can get the documents confirmed and certified.
Would it be possible to do it from Lagos?
And again … do I translate my certificate to Italian before or after it has been confirmed and certified?
And lastly … how much does the embassy charge for the legalisation (declaration of value)?
Thanks.

Career / Re: Am Just Confuse....please Help by garbigarba: 2:47am On Sep 03, 2014
If you do not have a place of your own, let the free accommodation serve as motivation for you to take the hotel job especially if you reside in a city such as Lagos, Abuja or PortHarcourt.

On the other hand,

You claim to have a first degree in banking and finance, the banking job can serve as a route to get into the banking sector and perhaps start a career for your self.

But let this guide you, the difference in remuneration is 35k, can you get decent accommodation for that price or lesser where you're presently resided.
The bank job would be thoroughly challenging and there's no job security, but if you're hardworking, it could just be a steppingstone for you plus you'd make lots of valuable contacts going out meeting people on the daily and don't forget the small prestige that comes with banking at least to some degree.

Conclusion: I would be more inclined to taking the banking job, but good luck anyway.

Cheers.

Moderator, it would be nice to give this man's thread a lil publicity.

lammy2rule:

Finally I got a reply.
I am also considering it seriously too. Are you in Lagos? Perhaps we can meet.
My concern is Job after MSc.. I have scouted Linkedin most Robert Gordon Naija guys are in Great companies
While language is a limiting factor in France and Italy
Should submit my application soon
Hello again … yes in Lagos at the moment, but might be leaving like next week, yet to submit my application … the only thing delaying me happens to be my transcript.
I am personally a little biased about the uk when it comes to schooling, with that their whole chasing you straight home once you're done. About the language thing, any international MNC that's worth it's salt would most probably conduct business in English and it wouldn't hurt picking up a new language anyway, it all makes for better employability.
Career / Re: Logistics Or Supply Chain Management by garbigarba: 11:42am On Aug 08, 2014
lammy2rule: Audencia MSc Supply Chain and Purchasing Management or Robert Gordon MSc Purchasing and Supply Chain Management

Which is better for career switch, job prospects post MSc, recognition of degree by Multinationals.

I will appreciate an overview opinion. As I want to decide on my application
Hello @lammy2rule I'm also applying to audencia nantes for the MSCPM for the February 2015 intake, and I am totally sold on the school. Bearing in mind that it's a double degree, you get two degrees … one from audencia and the other from MIP in Italy, which happens to be an even more prestigious school than audencia plus the fact that you get to spend time in 2 countries (France and Italy) it doesn't get any better than that. I really do think you should consider audencia over Robert Gordon, plus it would be nice having a fellow Nigerian around… that's seriously hoping I do get the admission tho.
Also I believe audencia/MIP is cheaper than Robert Gordon and better ranked.… I just did check out the Robert Gordon website and apparently there's no provision for internship, all that's expected of you is a dissertation, meanwhile the audencia/mip requires a compulsory 4 month internship which I believe makes things more interesting while building your international work experience at the same time, and we all know "on the job" experience is second to none.
Goodluck with your choice.

Brother, I think that the problem is with that itunes. You were prolly using other programs like itools, ifunbox etc and they may have corrupted your itunes metadata. Thats why its always telling you to restore it. By the way, I never believed people are still using itunes oo. That thing is prolly outdated. Why not use tools like synchiosis, itools and ifunbox for all your phone pimping? These tools are very powerful and have the capacity that itunes cant have in like 5 years!! If you need them, contact me on my email address. I am an apple fanboy since 2007 and there is nothing I dont know about the os. I will send the files to you if you need them. Though they need itunes installed on your laptop in order for them to work, they will prolly serve you without the need to open itunes ever again!
Thanks I really do appreciate.... kindly send me the synchiosis, couldnt find the app anywhere ..... garbigarba@yahoo.com

and ermm another problem I have been experiencing since updating to OS7, i havent been able to activate my iMessage with my phone no.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re-install iTunes or try it on another computer, I see you are running on windows xp.

Try it on a windows 7 or 8, shouldn't be a problem but for now I am out of ideas if only I have it here with me, I would be able to diagnose better.
I have tried it on other computers, and I am running on windows 7, that is just a theme.
