that's the order from the court, the judge never stopped the elections, which is a very tricky judgement, but also asking the police to stay away was also against the constitution, which is the angle the IG should be looking at, in a case when a judgement is testing the constitution the constitution should have more say because it is the constitutional duty of the police to protect life and property, they don't need a court order for that.
