Buh believe me when I say that APC knows how to organize reconciliation processes , if not more than any other parties. Cos , it usually works for them most times , no matter how aggrieved you may be .

The reconciliation process should not be limited to a select group of political actors. If genuine peace, unity, and stability are the objective, then Governor Fubara's key allies and supporters should also be brought to the table. Individuals such as Jumbo, Edison, Ochumati, Chijoke, and others who stood firmly with him throughout the political crisis should not be left out of the discussions.

In the same vein, leaders and stakeholders like Boma Goodhead, as well as members of the Senate and House of Representatives who may have lost opportunities for a return ticket due to the political realignments, deserve to be part of the reconciliation process. Lasting peace can only be achieved when all affected parties are given a voice and an opportunity to air their grievances, concerns, and expectations.

True reconciliation is not about rewarding a few individuals or political camps; it is about healing divisions, rebuilding trust, and ensuring that no group feels marginalized or abandoned after making sacrifices during difficult times. An inclusive approach will strengthen the outcome of the peace process and foster a more united political environment for the benefit of Rivers State and its people.

APC may have just lost Osun State. If this was intended as damage control, then it appears to have backfired. One has to wonder who advised this approach. They may end up spending resources for little political gain, as many people could still collect whatever is offered and ultimately cast their votes for Accord Party.

Nigeria’s Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has criticised Burkina Faso’s military leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, over his position on Sharia and governance.

In a post on his Facebook page on Saturday, Gumi described Traoré as too young and inexperienced.

Gumi should point out one county practicing sharia law that is successful economically, are they more Muslim than the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia and the rest, how has sharia law improved the north you come from, politicians are still stealing you guys blind, how many sharia law enforcement has been confirmed to be effective on the stealing politicians.
