PoliticsRe: Third Term Agenda? What The Law Actually Says About Tinubu Staying Beyond 8 Year by gare(f): 7:10am On Mar 24
Titopeblog:
IF PRESIDENT TINUBU DESIRES A THIRD TERM, These are the legal requirements to achieve it

Pls, take emotions away cos the law doesn't care about it

As we speak

1. The APC have 31 out of 36 State Governors

2. The APC have total of 87 seat at the National Assembly out of 109

2. APC holds 268 seat At the House of Assembly out of 360

So, if the President desies a third terms, this is the way to go

To make constitution amendments, these are the legal requirements

1. The proposed amendment Bill must be supported by at least two thirds majority of all members in both the Senate and the House of Representatives and the APC have the two third already

2. 24 states out of 36 must vote in favour of the amendment, which the APC got already

3. The President will need to sign to approve it

So without having muxh to say
If the President gets Re Elected

He can decide to Amend the constitution to give him one more additional term

The constitution requirements is at his fingertips as we speak.

TINUBU is the perfect man the igbo need to help them out to get BIAFRA, he has the requirements needed, for the constitution amendments at his fingertips right now.

The law is not emotional, the homework is perfect if he decides to strike

If OBASANJO had this privilege that time ehn.

He would get the third term

Ignorance of the law is no excuse

PoliticsRe: Sultan Of Sokoto Makes Demand On 2027 Elections by gare(f): 6:22pm On Mar 22
dododawa1:
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has demanded a free, fair and transparent 2027 election in Nigeria.

According to the royal father, credible elections are important towards achieving a stable country.

Naija News reports that the Sultan made the call in a statement issued by the Secretary-General of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Prof. Khalid Abubakar Aliyu.

In the statement, he called for the descalation of the Iran – USA/Israel war in the Middle East as well as every other part of the world troubled by conflicts.

The traditional ruler stressed the need for global peace, stability and security.

He submitted that if allowed to fester, wars bring about food shortages and negatively affect the global economy.

“The Sultan of Sokoto and president-general, Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), felicitates with the Nigerian Muslim Ummah and by extension the world on the successful completion of the 1447 AH (2026) Ramadan fast and observance of the Eid-el-Fitr.

“May the occurrence be a time for deeper reflections of our actions and prays for stability, peace, joy and blessings to all Muslims, as well as our loved ones.

“May Allah, the Most High, accept all our fasting and overlook our shortcomings therein. May Allah, as well accept our respective supplications and good deeds during the Ramadan, and may He continue to shower His grace upon us in the days and months ahead. Amin.

“Nigerian Muslims are urged not to forget Sittah-Shawwal, i.e the six-days recommended fasting by the Prophet (SAW) which follows the Ramadan fast. In line with our earlier calls, we reiterate our call to the Muslim faithful to intensify prayers for self and the Ummah against all manners of misfortunes and seek Allah’s relief, particularly that the 2027 general elections are fast approaching.

“Hence, we use this medium to call on all stakeholders to be introspective and work assiduously towards credible, free, fair and transparent elections, for a stable Nigeria in 2027. A stable Nigeria must first exist before it is governed.

Historically, wars have no good omen; it remains more of a destructive tool that affects negatively the human capital index. More so, if allowed to fester, it will significantly affect the world food chain and generally the economy, leading to impoverishment, which will invariably be too dangerous to countries like Nigeria, because of our fragility,” the sultan said.

Even his worst critics will agree that he did well sentiments aside.
We are not talking about Bala Mohammed, Wike is the minister present, we should stop comparing our politicians with mediocre instead compare him with mayors of big cities not failures

Good information. Let's see how it goes. Akinwunmi Ambode would have been the perfect choice for Lagos, but with the clamor for an indigenous Lagosian, maybe Gbaja may step in. The resignation of Wike will be a big blow to the colossal development of the FCT, but being the Presidential Campaign DG is a big one cheesy
Which colossal development? When all he did was just reconstruction of a few roads, how many schools did he build, how many hospitals did he build, is the FCt fire service update? There are a lot of things outside road construction, he should go and check major cities in the world, what they have and do same, what's how problems with roads and the roads are not properly done.

fergie001:
Abejide has been crying since he was expelled....he should go meet his mentor Yahaya Bello to fix him somewhere in APC.

How do we fix our democracy, by taking out forgery from our Electoral Act or killing Nigerians with heat stress. How can anyone talk about democracy, justice with a Party that has subjected millions to abject poverty, divided the country through unbridled bigotry and nepotism. How can a Party of drug mules, lawbreakers, ashana massagers, certificate forgers and lootocrats be talking about democracy. This nonsense must stop.

For the avoidance of doubts, you deliberately pretend to forget, but my duty is to remind you.... Hillard Etta, APC VP SS under Buhari was expelled for going to Court by standing with Oshiomhole. You didn't hear that one. Abia APC just suspended a former Minister, former Guber candidate, and one of the founding members of the Party in the state. Why? He publicly backed Tinubu but is supporting the Governor for a second term, unsurprisingly you haven't responded. But Abejide who is an ADC member is backing the Governor of his State and the President, he is also sponsoring Court cases against the leadership but you want them to keep him..... When will this your hypocrisy end for God's sakes.

For the records, issues of who is the true leadership of any political party is out of jurisdiction of the Courts. The Court does not determine that and cannot. Again, membership of a political party is out of the court's jurisdiction. What the Court will determine is: was the handover to Mark done in accordance to the Constitution and all that? Do not forget NEC handed over to Mark, with INEC officials present, make of that what you will.
I blame Mark and his group they should have formed a new party, just like APC did, to avoid all these leadership issues. Taking over an existing party rarely solves anything; the same internal conflicts usually persist. A clear example is what happened during the local government elections in Rivers State when AAP was adopted suddenly, someone emerged claiming party leadership, leading to court cases that eventually resulted in the Supreme Court nullifying the elections. It’s a recurring problem that could have been avoided with a properly structured new platform.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwAw7hfNmVU

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh warning ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections—and his message is one that raises serious concern.

According to him, the 2027 presidential election may not produce a clear winner. He warned that the process could be inconclusive, creating tension and uncertainty across the country.
But that’s not all.

Primate Ayodele also revealed that there could be violence in some northern states, a situation he says may significantly disrupt the governorship elections in those regions. He cautioned that these developments, if not properly managed, could affect the credibility and smooth conduct of the entire electoral process.

The cleric, known for his prophetic warnings on national issues, urged stakeholders, security agencies, and the government to take proactive steps to prevent crisis and ensure a peaceful election.

As Nigeria prepares for another critical election cycle, the question now remains—will these warnings be taken seriously, or ignored?
Only time will tell.
With all the decamping, it should be a landslide, they are just deceiving Tinubu, at the end people would work for whom they like.

Then something is wrong with Nigeria system of production.

The imported rice are bought. At what price that the local counterparts can't compete favourably?

The imported rice are transported from host nation. Initiate logistics cost isn't available in Nigerian rice production.

The imported rice incurs clearing cost which Nigerian rice do not suffer.

The imported rice has more processing value than local rice. Processing cost

The big question.

How is imported rice cheaper than local rice

Local man is confused
Greed appears to be a major issue. Many local manufacturers price their products so high that imported rice sometimes becomes cheaper in the market. Instead of making locally produced rice competitive and affordable, excessive pricing pushes consumers toward imported alternatives.

Instead of aligning the party with Wike, they should proceed to the Supreme Court to seek a final legal resolution. That way, the issues within the party can be settled properly rather than creating more internal divisions.

If the matter is not resolved and the crisis continues to escalate to the point where the party cannot even present candidates in the 2027 elections, it would be extremely damaging to the party’s future. In such a situation, many of those currently holding on may eventually abandon the party once it becomes clear that its structure has collapsed.

It is truly unfortunate that internal disagreements have brought the party to this point; what is needed now is decisive leadership, adherence to

However, the key question remains: which faction truly represents the recognized and lawful BOT capable of providing leadership and direction at this critical time? The party needs clarity, unity, and adherence to due process to avoid further internal disputes and to ensure that the BOT can effectively guide the party toward stability and credible decision-making.
