My broda, I understand d point u r making, but u cannot exonerate sans in this regard. Let me use ur example of 419ers in Nigeria. Everyone isn't a scammer in Nigeria but that's not d reason why embassies make it difficult to grant Nigerians visas into their country. Its becos of the few who are 419ers. Dats just hw tins work in dis world. There are so many countries in africa but one particularly is known for xenophobism (as Nigerians are known for being dubious), that one is SA. An average foreigner may be scared of going to SA to avoid being victim of xenophobia and dis is nt good for SA's reputation. So its good u made it clear dat ur submission is ur opinion but it doesn't change d impression most people already have. |

slowice: One can't underestimate the benefit of getting married to a born again girl. The spiritual support she'll give her husband and family is priceless, but sometimes I kinda wonder if her very spiritual side won't end up creating less affection and make the marriage less fun(romance-less) in the long run.
Which could be part of reason why guys are not very comfortable with marrying born again girls...
Your thoughts will be very much appreciated. They are never romantic o, even wen they try to be u will notice dat they are trying so hard and it doesn't eva sound real. This is not becos being romantic is sinful but becos they reserve romance for only their husband, hence they don't get to date till their ready for marriage, therefore no prior romatic experience. And u knw wat they say abt practice makes perfect right? |

Romance › Re: How Bad Breath Is Ruining My Relationships, Social Life And Self Esteem. by garriboy(m): 8:47pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
SSBN: As i type these words my heart is heavy and gloomy, filled with sadness. I reckon its a good idea to share my experience (especially those with similar problems).
I am A 30 YEAR OLD man, good looking (i needn't say this i know), financially well off relative to most average young men and certainly not lacking in intellectual capacity.
I have a condition BAD BREATH. I noticed this when my erstwhile girlfriend covers her nose with her fingers when i come close, when we have sex she insists on me hitting her from behind. She tried very hard to make it seem natural so as not to hurt my feelings but there is so much you can hide. Our relationship of course did not last because i was too stupid to figure out why. This was an on and off occurrence hence perhaps my failure to pin point the problem.
Of late the condition has worsened. It is made worse by the fact even your closest friend WILL NOT tell you about your bad breath. Each time i speak within minutes who ever I'm speaking to puts his/her hands over their nose and mouth.
There is this girl I just met. Obviously chemistry was not lacking hence we struck a connect pretty soon, but however since she started paying me visits i noticed as well she consistently tries to distance herself, even when I hug her face points downwards.
Now as of this writing i was paid a visit by my In-law (Dude who married my sister just this past December). I noticed the eye and bodily contacts between both. I'm here in my room but she's right there with him in the living room. Taking off her jean she is dressed in a provocative easy wear, one that accentuates her soft full legs and cute ass.
Mere staying with me revolts now. To buy time for privacy she requests for mundane things life ''Efirin'' leave (used for pepper soup), knowing all too well i will have to drive pretty far. Coming back home i parked outside (Which i don't usually do and walked into my apartment and lo and behold there she was sitting side my side with him, all grins and smiles.
Startled by my unexpected entry, i could see the irritation on her face. Right now as i type these words she is in the living room with my In-law, food is ready she demands she eats, serves him first and later asks with careless abandon if ''i will eat''. IN MY OWN HOUSE.
To say i am hurt and sad is an understatement, being a LEO, i am naturally a very sensitive but this hits me like a big blow; sad, self esteem reduced, i feel so sad.
Conclusion:
I know i am not the only one with this problem, there are thousands of guys like me having the same problem. You wouldn't wish this feeling of hurt and pain for your worst enemy, trust me.
I only wish God will somehow remove this problem for me. I have taken all medications, therapies and mouth wash but all to no avail. U just dey find fp post. I put it to you who wrote dis post dat u don't have any stinky breath. And why is it so long? Why not just say I have a bad breath I have tried all I can to cure it but I can't, and its affecting my relationships can anyone help? I didn't read dis beyond the 1st paragraph but I'm pretty sure this summarizes wat u mean. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Ask Me Any Question(s) About AMORC And Other Esoteric Organisations In Nigeria by garriboy(m): 5:54pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
literarymathy: BELOW IS AMORC CURRICULUM/SYLLABUS FOR THOSE WHO ARE CURIOUS AS TO OUR TEACHINGS.
The Rosicrucian Monographs or Personal Sanctum Study Lessons (as they are sometimes called by AMORC) were first written in the beginning of the 20th century (before the 1930s) by Harvey Spencer Lewis, founder of AMORC, and subsequently updated by his successors to stay current with advancements in science, language, and culture.
These teachings are part of the Rosicrucian Monographs. These are not the only subjects covered by the Rosicrucian system. The list contained here, which should be perceived as unofficial, is adapted from the Rosicrucian Home Study Lessons section of the Web version of the Mastery of Life published by the English Grand Lodge for the Americas also including information from my private library of Master Monographs.
A.M.O.R.C.'s Grade Structure The AMORC grades, or as they called, Degrees, are arranged into four sections or groups:
Postulant section - That is the introductory section and includes the Mandamus explaining the system of study and basic concepts. Neophyte section - That is the basic section and includes three degrees. Temple section – That is the intermediate section and includes eight degrees. After the year 2000, there was a reformation of the degrees, and their titles changed as well as the name of this section. Illuminati section – That is the advanced section and includes four degrees. After the year 2000, their titles changed. For instance, the Illuminati section was split in three sections: The Illuminati proper section, including the 9th, 10th, and 11th degrees. The Esoteric Hierarchy section, including the 12th degree as an introduction to a new entire new section called the Ordo Summum Bonum Ordo Summun Bonun section - That section has a subsection entitled the Planes, which includes another set of nine degrees. The "Plane" degrees were created by HSL's son Ralph Maxwell Lewis (1904–1987), initiate name: Sar Validivar, during his period as AMORC Imperator (1939 to 1987). Those degrees are purely philosophical in nature and discuss the nature of the Cosmic and its Natural Laws.
Postulant (8 Mandamus) section The word Mandamus, which appears on the cover of each monograph, designates the especial mandate that the student receive as Postulant to the Order and the monographs explain the system of study and basic concepts and terminology used in the degrees ahead.
Neophyte section Like in ancient times, if a person wanted to study the great mysteries of the world, they would have to petition for admittance as a student and become a Neophyte. The Neophyte would be granted admittance to the Atrium, or reception chamber to the temple. In the Atrium the Neophyte would receive the preliminary instructions and beginning teachings, before they would be allowed entry into the temple. Following ancient times the Rosicrucian monographs are called Atrium lessons, and beginning Rosicrucian students are called Neophytes.
Introductory lessons Presents basic Rosicrucian concepts that can be applied in practical ways. One of the first things the students will learn as a Neophyte is that they are a dual being. In addition to the student's five physical senses, the student also has a psychic sense. The exercises in these introductory lessons are designed to gradually awaken and develop the psychic faculty. The exercises allow the students to discover for themselves through direct experience how these principles work.
Topics include:
Mystical Sounds Spiritual Alchemy Time and Space Human and Cosmic Consciousness Meditation Development of the Intuition Introduction to: Human Aura, Telepathy, Metaphysical Healing
First Atrium (14 Monographs) The first Atrium explores consciousness as the organizing principle of matter and explains the composition and structure of matter and its vibratory nature. You'll learn how the creative power of thought affects the material world. This power is demonstrated through exercises in the techniques of concentration, visualization, and mental creation.
Topics include:
Composition and Structure of Matter Power of Thought and Concentration Visualization Telepathy Mental Projection Law of the Triangle
Second Atrium The student's understanding of the connection between mind and matter will now be expanded to include the connection between the mind and the physical body. The second Atrium explores how the students' thoughts influence their health, the role of proper breathing in psychic development as well as health and vitality, and Rosicrucian healing techniques. As the students develop their body's psychic centres, the student will gradually awaken psychic faculties, such as the ability to perceive the aura. the student will also experience the mystical effect of sounds.
Topics include:
Origin of Diseases Influence of Thoughts on Health Mystical Art of Breathing Rosicrucian Healing Treatments Perception of the Aura Awakening the Psychic Consciousness Mystical Sounds
Third Atrium The Third Atrium moves beyond the physical body and the psychic faculties into the realm of the mystical. As the student become more attuned with the inner source of wisdom, they will become more receptive to the subtle inner prompting of intuition, inspiration and illumination. These lessons also explode the nature of Soul and spiritual evolution, reincarnation and karma, and the cycles of the soul.
Topics include:
Reincarnation Karma Free Will Good and Evil Intuition Inspiration and Illumination The Great Religious Movements The Nature of Soul Purpose of our Spiritual Evolution
Temple section Having completed the lessons of the Neophyte section, the student stands at an important milestone in progress along the mystical path. the student are now ready to enter the Temple. The studies in the Neophyte section established the foundation for the lessons of the Temple Degrees. The students have been introduced to the various elements of the Rosicrucian system and had the opportunity to practice many of the principles presented through simple experiments. Now the Temple Degrees will further develop these elements, providing additional depth and practical applications of the principles.
First Temple Degree (11 Monographs) The First Temple Degree introduces the concept of polarity and its relationship to the subatomic world and its differing rates of vibration. It introduces the full spectrum of physical and non-physical manifestation. An understanding of these subjects gives the student an appreciation for the system and order of the universe, the interconnectedness of all nature and how everything is governed by natural law.

Seventh Temple Degree (20 Monographs) The exercises and experiments of all the previous Degrees have contributed to gradual development, providing the student with the necessary foundation for the advanced techniques of the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Degrees. In the Seventh Degree, the students will learn how to accomplish psychic projection (Astral Projection), how to develop their personal aura and perceive other people's auras, and how to further develop psychic centres and perception. Students will also receive a thorough explanation of the physiological, psychic, and spiritual influence of specific mystical sounds.

Ninth Temple Degree (56 Monographs) To learn the high principles of spiritual alchemy deriving benefit from the student divine nature acting not only different levels of the human being but also in the visible and invisible environment. These practices are regarded as the alchemy of matter, consciousness and life. The ninth degree is a long and careful ascent that gives the student every opportunity to put into practice what has been learned in the preceding temple degrees.

The other degrees are specialised. Upon reaching the 9th degree, it can be said that the student has graduated from being an undergraduate student to a post graduate student and will therefore specialise on any of the areas covered. From there on he will continue receiving Monographs till the very end. Another question; . Is there any of ur teachings dat corelates with that of the bible . Wat achievments have u made from these teachings . Is telepathy really possible . Where would dese monographs be sent regularly from |

literarymathy: That's quite funny but it is a BIG LIE! AMORC is a subscription based organisation which means members PAY to be members. In other to leave, just stop PAYING and that's all!!! AMORC is not a Nigerian organisation - most people don't even know this- it's a worldwide organisation headquartered in San Jose, California. I'm very sure if most of the superstitious lies about AMORC is true, it would have been disbanded in the US. Anyway, the simple answer to your question is that members can leave AMORC at any point in time if they so wish by simply stopping the payment of their dues or writing a letter to the administration. It's really that simple. No one haunts you, no badluck comes from anywhere and no bad blood is spilt. I know of ex amorc members who are thriving well. Most ex members usually leave because they couldn't meet up with the dues or that their intention of joining amorc was not the reality they met.i.e. Some people join amorc thinking they can get rich overnight or kill their enemies and when they realise that's not what AMORC is into, they leave and start spreading rumours. Others will get tired of reading monographs and leave. So amorc isn't for everyone. It's an intellectually inclined organisation. We even have a university known as the Rose Croix University International. Nice one. Tanx. What exactly is AMORC, a religion? And what sort of knowledge do they impact, that is uncommon and its worth paying for? |

PassingShot: Okorocha's argument is very spot on.
It is the number of PVC's collected that should be considered in arriving at a decision on whether a rerun is required in the affected LG or not.
If PVC's collected is less than the gap between him and Iheodia, there is no point in wasting resources for another election there.
Even by considering the registered voters, you do not expect a 70% turnout on election date and it is also save to say that Okorocha will get at least 50% of the votes in the LG affected since it is his stronghold area.
No how you spin this, APC's Okorocha has won this election. Just one question; have u heard from ihedioha? Cos that's the norm here on NL, u jump into conclusion the moment u hear from one side. Teempakguy: i mean presitige. The ibos get rich, recognized and celebrated once in a while. But instead of them to hold their position with grace, they begin to feel superior to the other tribes. Unfortunately, the northerners don't find this funny at all. So each time, they group together to destroy whatever the ibos have accumulated. When you live in the same country with people like the northern guys, you abandon shouting and use strategy. Just like chess. Do not make it known to your opponent that you are beating him. Just focus keep silent and work your way to the top. Just look at obasanjo and tinubu. To the world, it seems they just appeared from nowhere to attain power. But in reality, they have been working tirelessly in the background. Now, the hausas have unknowingly put the power back into the hands of the yorubas. The ibos should learn this. Talk not. Do much. I hope you grab? When it comes to noise making I believe it is rumored that the yorubas do dat more but dats not my point. From ur explanation u can see that the hatred the hausas have for d ibos is simply due to envy. And u actually have futher buttressed my point. The truth is the ibos don't show off with their wealth, I'm an ibo man and one of the things I hate about my people is dat u may see an ibo man in onitsha who's worth over 200m and he'll be living a lifestyle of a poor man. Infact, its like a norm in the east. So I wonder where...infact give me and example of where and when they tried to show supreriority over any other tribe |

misspatsy: I read this copied work you called your write-up,hope you have acknowledged the real owner? Coming to work you said,Lagos didn't make anybody instead everybody here made lagos wat it is today.when Babangida moved the sea port from lagos to a northern state to favour his people what did the yorubas do about it?ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! Because its federal property so why are you claiming ownership of what d FG owns for lagos?
Secondly all those companies you mentioned are mostly owned by foreigners except Glo and Dangote and Dangote made his wealth thru OBJ's help when he banned importation,he sold shares to develop himself that's why he is where he is today. He is also making money from other people's investment on him. There is no other well functioning sea port in Nigeria that's d reason why Lagos is what it is today.
You say d igbos import fake products, who allowed them?OBJ and I won't be surprised if you buy those bend-down-select clothes in yaba, idumota n d likes.Isn't it sold to help d masses who can't afford expensive ones or did any Igbo man deceive them into buying such clothes. CAPITALOIL,IBETOCEMENT,COSCHARISMOTORS are owns by Igbos although small but those are what OBJ tried to protect if u don't know.
You talk about ritual killing when Yorubas are so good at going to Abeokuta to become rich with incurable wound on a part of their body.I have stayed in Abeokuta and a week will not pass by without them carrying their ORO or whatever they call it.The markets where Tinubu and d Oba of Lagos's family are Iya and Baba loja are dirty because the people who built them forgot that there is something called a restroom.
Am very much aware that all markets and shops dominated by d Igbos observe d sanitation on wed evening before thursday morning, even dat thursday morning they still await d sanitation worker who neva apear on time till 10am before starting business.
Lastly tell ur tout brothers who only engage in forcefully collectin money from buses to get a life or die trying Well said sister, the fool also forgot his history of how most igbo men lost their wealth after d biafra war when gowon declared dat nothing more dan 20 pounds should be giving to ibos who had money in d bank before the war (irrespective of how much u had b4 d war), how also gowon declared houses of ibos in various states abandoned and other undeserving owners took over. These events reduced the wealth of the ibo people in general. Ojukwu's father was rumored to be d richest man in Nigeria before the war and he wasn't even a grounded politician. That's hw successful the ibos were before the war. They didn't depend on the govt. So when he says ibos are nt among d top rich men in Nigeria he should know exactly wat caused it. I'm nt a tribalist but if the yorubas were the ibos by nw they won't even be where most ibo rich men are. The thing is the traditional leaders and big wits in lagos knw all dis but daft like him doesn't know. So leave him to his ignorance |

If u cohabit wit one guy and break up and cohabit wit d next guy and d next and d next, would u still feel u have worth (I'm not talking about bride price mind u)? Seriously wat r we saying. Now some girls would say in dis case they will choose dose dey would and won't cohabit wit and it will beg another question; how do u decide whom u can cohabit with, since d last one u were so sure of, u ended up breaking up with. And before u blast the op again answer urself honestly to the question; will u like to mention to ur present bf that at some point u cohabited with some person(s)? I mean honestly answer urself. Make we talk true na |

takoi: There is no doubt that you are sex starved and that no girl will ever agree to visit talk less of cohabiting with you. Rubbish!!!! U are probably a girl who feels very touched with this post. While I may nt agree with the bride price tin, op actually does have a point. I've seen cases of cohabitation for years, I definitely wouldn't want my sisters to do that cos I can't marry such a girl. I know I probably won't marry a virgin but how would it feel like to meet someone who has shagged ur wife for years. Its like marrying a divorced woman which is also sometin I can't do. Just a personal opinion dou |

Romance › Is It Right To Date A Girl Who Lives Next Door To You by garriboy(op): 8:55am On Apr 12, 2015 |
The first time I had this dilemma was in 2011 while I was serving in Benue state. There was this Neighbour of mine who had all the qualities I desire in a woman but I couldn't decide if it was proper to date someone who lives one or two doors away from me. And also given that we became too friendly too quickly. Ok fast forward to 2015, there's this neighbour of mine whom I've come to like and I know she's single just like I am and we are getting all friendly again. I don't know, should I ask her out? |

LordExecutioner: You are a fool. The context is right.
Even in America, naturalized citizens are different from other citizens. Once you spend over five years in jail as a naturalized citizen, your citizenship will automatically be revoked.
It can also be revoked for treason even if you were born there. See hw u took so many line to express ur foolishness and daftness. U even mentioned the context and gave an american example dat is clearly different from dis context. U talk abt naturalization and citizenship (obviously refering to individuals from other nations) who migrated to the US when we are talking about ibos (Nigerians) who migrated to lagos (still Nigeria). Can the governor of say Texas claim to be host to a Washington citizen and call him a visitor in texas??So really, hw foolish do u feel nw that u've known dis |

I'm an igbo man but I believe the majority of yorubas are not as daft as whoever wrote this neither are they as daft as those who will support dis on here. The use of the words "host" and "visitor" in this context can only be applied by those who are very myopic and unexposed. If truly this came from a particular body representing the yoruba people in any sense then I think the yorubas should be quick to dissociate themselves from such party. |

rokiatu: Smh for some guys and their idioti...c mindset. No wonder ya all marriages don't last. Who told you assets or beauty hold a marriage together? You think marriage is a one night stand bullshi..t!! What dey didn't even think is how can a girl continuously attach fake hips and d guy won't find out thru out courtship till marriage. No one marries becos of hips let alone fake hips |
