Dear Beauty Queen, You have a right to refuse 'topless' nonsense. However, a human right lawyer can take them on your behalf. You will get all your salaries, entitlements as a beauty Queen and You can obtain an injunction from Court stopping them from dethroning you and enthroning another in your place. #saynotononsense |

Mulubebet in Igbo language means born in the house of bet |
Nice blog but we should be creative in our thinking. Every blogger doing the same thing is boring. |
Congratulations to our beloved OBJ and the new graduates! |
Section 42 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria protects everyone from suffering any disability due to the circumstances of ones' birth. |
Giving honour to whom it's due. |
Well Davido is Babcock university graduate of music. If he was awarded a degree in music by the university, who are we to say he is not trained? |
Thanks for your great post. I thought i was the only voice crying in the wilderness. It is very frustrating at the level of high musical illiteracy in the industry today. It appears all they care about is the money. the average Artist can tell you how much artist A makes a day from download and so on but terribly does not know the difference between doh and re. How did the decay set in? The great Artistes you mentioned are well grounded in theory of music and practical. Majek Fashek plays every basic instrument proficiently and you and i know his musical training background. The great American artists tell the world they work very hard, five to eight hours every day on their voice or instrument but the successful Nigerian Artist creates a mirth around himself, how he receives songs in the dream and a whole bull... So when you tell an Artiste here to go for training, he feels insulted but the trained ones like Tiwa, Davido, Don Jazzy, Rayce and others will remain relevant for long. |
It is the legal right of every woman to either adopt her husband's surname or retain her maiden name. |
I thought sections 373 to 381 of the criminal code of Nigeria covers everything about Libel and slander.. |
We already have sections 373 to 381 of the criminal code of Nigeria covering every aspect of Libel and Slander. Is there really any need for the duplication? |
The Judiciary is indeed the last hope. |
Yes there has been an open secret knowledge of crude oil deposits around Eha Alumona axis of Nsukka. I am writing as a complete Nsukka boy. |

Traditional marriage ceremony to a foreigner is mere jamboree and nothing more. No foreigner is bound by our customary marriage law. The accepted one is statutory marriage ( court marriage ) Please be guided properly. |
The learned Prof. Is correct. We must follow rules and processes. We are not in military government where things are done by the will of the Head of state. 50% cut in salary is populist but due process must be followed. Arbitrary decisions like the instant case can lead to tyranny and dictatorship.section 84 of the constitution clearly spells out the input of the national assembly and revenue mobilisation commission. Any order outside the provision of the constitution is ultra vires; beyond powers. Section 84 sub section 3 says the salaries of the office holders shall not be altered to their disadvantage. The learned Vice President understands it more but my fear is that he may not be carried along and res ipsa locitur, he was not carried along. |
congrats Nigeria and to his family! It is well deserved. |
NFF is stretching this things too far.. NFF must be told in clear terms that violation of our Heroes human rights is totally unacceptable. Onazi has full right to fair hearing as guaranteed by section 36 of the constitution of the federal republic of nigeria. NFF constituted itself into law maker, court of justice and executive thereby grossly violating Onazi's right to fair hearing, and right to be defended by himself or anyone of his choice. Enyeama is entitled to his opinion and NFF must know that every reasonable man ought to be scared of security concerns in the North and please move subsequent matches to safe places in Nigeria. My take; NFF should face reality . |
Vincent Enyema is guaranteed right to his opinion by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria. Every reasonable man ought to express fears about hosting matches of that magnitude in the north. NFF should please stop hosting our national teams any where in the north. We are all aware of security situation in the north. |
Congratulations Prince!!! |
' relocate ....to maidugri'... fine speech but we are in a democratic setting. In the on coming days, the discussion will be on constitutionality and legality of such order. 2015 here we come!!!!! |
Great job from a great Soul. Politics is over; our President elect should look for Governor Akpabio and get him involved in physical and infrastructural development of Nigeria. Granted, Governor Akpabio is a Senator elect and a lawyer but I feel Nigeria needs him and his team in the area of development. We have the likes of David Mark and co doing excellent legislative work. My two cents; President Buhari should get this great soul to reproduce what he has done in Akwa Ibom state nationwide. Nigeria will be better for it. God bless Governor Akpabio, God bless our elected President Buhari, God bless me Gary Austine and God bless Nigeria. |
Why Ogun state all the time for missing persons and ritual killings? The Police command in Ogun state should step up their game. |
Death sentence in this day and age? |
